Wok hei.. you will find that in the beef chow fun. The chef might have used rehydrated go fun in it but it was still nicely cooked with wok hei and not salty at all. Yum..

Went here for Lunar New Year with 24 people in our party. Service was prompt, great people, amazing food. Authentic and festive. Our first time eating here and will be back again!

Went with a group of 7 midday on a Saturday. The place was pretty full. Service could have been better. We had to figure out ourselves where to find a menu. Then it took a while for us to order. We had to flag them down to get more tea and for our bill to pay. I do think if you don't speak Cantonese, it would be a bit more difficult to order or even get someone to take your order. The bill was written in Chinese too. The food overall was tasty. A bit too oily for me but that's more of a personal preference. I would come again if I was with a friend who could speak Cantonese.

My wife and I have eaten there many times and both the food and service are always excellent. If you want to dine with friends or family and have a large gathering, this is a good choice for Cantonese food. Feel free to bring wine and spirits, they are very accommodating.

Cheap and delicious! I am not a fan of pigeon But all other dishes are nice Especially the fish. Need to reserve. Authentic flavor.

After the day hike in Ranier, I came down for some traditional Cantonese comfort food. It was 245PM right before the restaurant afternoon break, I was welcomed in with full service. The fried intestine with radish was excellent, crisp on the outside and tender inside. The eggplant with salty fish and chicken was good, not overly oily. The restaurant is very clean and plays piano music, good for a rest after a day in the mountain. I'd try the more traditional dishes, they are outstanding than the usuals.

Descent Cantonese food, and the service was great. They have fish tanks in the kitchen, and you can order fresh steamed fish. It's very good. We had too much food, and they were very nice to help us pack the leftover to go. They also gave us a free dessert (tapioca sweet soup). It's delicious.

Many speaking mandarin, lots speaking English. But anytime I go to a place and it's not filled with Americans but the people the cuisine represents, it's always a good sign. We were immediately greeted and they have quite a few tables. Many of them are the big round tables with the lazy Susan in the middle. Typical and traditional for a family dinner experience with Chinese food. As it's meant to be served and shared with everyone. You don't typically order your own plate. On our visit we ordered the Westlake beef soup, fried eggplant with spicy garlic, seafood chow fun with gravy, and the salt and pepper fried chicken wings. Every single dish was served piping hot and fresh. The chow fun had a hint of the wok char which is super important. And each dish was delicious. The eggplant was so tasty. The garlic extra crispy and not bitter at all. The crispy coating around the tender eggplant- exceptional! The chow fun was well balanced. The seafood cooked perfectly. The chicken wings, I only wish it had more topping on it. But fried well, light batter and seasoned to perfection. The soup was light and with a little white pepper, I was so satisfied. We will definitely be back. The service was great. They were friendly. Just a tip, they don't take American Express.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! See you at Triumph Valley.

It was tender and flavorful. You even got a bit of that wok char on it when they cooked it all together with the bell peppers. It was the most satisfying thing we ate. The pho was not anything I would go out of my way for. But it did its job. And for $13 for a combo pho, I was not mad at it all. Definitely packed with a lot of noodles if you appreciate that too. The broth was solid. The service was friendly. It's a small restaurant with a good amount of seating. Nothing fancy at all. But you don't hear for vibes. For this visit, I came in a group of 5 to celebrate Mother's Day a day early. Even with that, we had to put our name down on a waitlist, and even wait longer than usual since we did not make a reservation ahead of time through the phone. We did eventually get seated about an hour later and got a big table with the rotating glass in the middle for our family-style eating. For it being really busy and people coming in and out everywhere inside, food came out even faster! I swear it took like 15 or so minutes for all the dishes we got to arrive, and they are huge portions. - Lemon chicken: I always ask for the sauce on the side for this one. This is the only place I know of that uses chicken breast for the meat and not chicken thighs like most other Chinese restaurants do. Chicken tempura is crispy and chicken itself is juicy and really hot. Lemon sauce came on a bigger-than-expected bowl. - Mustard green and sliced pork soup: we asked for this one without the salty egg. Essentially a very clean soup with tofu, veggies, egg whites and small pieces of sliced pork. - Lotus root with fresh squid and peanut: lotus roots were a little crunchy, pretty nice dish overall with the peanuts putting their nutty mark throughout the ingredients. - Salt and pepper sole fillet: very salty but to the point where you don't need any sort of sauce. Came in very piping hot. - Ong cai/water spinach: pretty standard for most Chinese restaurants. Clean and a needed veggie among all the fried and salty dishes we got. - Singaporean style noodles: one of my favorites to get. Curry taste is prevalent, and was maybe a little too spicy for my parents to eat. - Razor clams: not a fan of these but I didn't taste any sand grains when I had a bite, so this was cleaned very well. - Lamb pot: lamb was a little touch to chew, and the fried tofu skins carried a lot more flavor for some reason. This was a humongous meal and we were all very satisfied! From other visits we were considering getting their slow cooked herb soup for this visit but it would be $16 per person so we did pass on it. That being said, dishes here are priced reasonably, and portions are really huge. Highly recommend here for a great meal for large parties!
