We decided to order delivery from our hotel room and I'm so annoyed that we wasted $40 on this stupid place. I initially placed an order for two burgers only to be told after the fact that "their grill is down" so, we settled on two BLT's. I asked if he could add in 2 sides of ranch and he literally said to me "I just completed the transaction! I would have to redo it all over again. Do you really want to do a whole other sale?!" Very confused by this, I said "oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you'd charge for ranch..". (ESPECIALLY considering their grill was down and we couldn't order what we really wanted. Customer service anyone?!). He laughed at me and said "oh, certainly" so I cut him off and just said "thank you" and hung up, immediately wanting to call back and cancel our order altogether but, I didn't. The food arrived and I knew I should have listened to myself. The BLT's are a dry ass hoagie, with dry ass bacon, wilty lettuce and tomatoes. NO Mayo, or spread whatsoever. Like, what?!? Hate to say it, but most inconsistent pizza I've EVER had. I JUST ordered and attempted to eat a pizza I ordered from Magusto's. The cheese, toppings were good and well done. The pizza was actually cooked well w the crust actually being decent. However, the sauce was very bad, almost awful. Also, as I was eating, I was interrupted by a TERRIBLE taste of chemicals, almost tasting like fertilizer put on lawns. Something had to have been sprayed and/or came in contact w my pizza. Ruined everything and threw the rest away. This is the 5th chance we've given Magusto's and it was the worst. Sometimes its soggy, not edible. Sometimes flavorless...you really never know what you're going to get. This was the last chance and Magusto's blew it. NEVER AGAIN...just hope I don't get sick.... read more

Food is excellent. Cheeseburgers are organic beef and cooked with butter, not oil. Bar atmosphere can be a little loud. Pizzas are best in the Valley. read more

I'm not one to put bad reviews on anything but man im disappointed. I love the fried shrimp basket. Now it seems like its over cooked and they forget to put cocktail sauce with it. That happened 4 times already. I went ahead never tired fish and chip had it did not come with tarter sauce. Lol i know that a lot of people say its a stoner work place and im kool with that but make sure your on top of it. I work at a hotel and they want me to recommend them, I will do so once I get better serivce I always tip very well. I'm very sorry for saying this. read more

Worst place I've ever been to. Went after work with a few friends to get a bite to eat and a slice of chocolate cake. My friend next to me had ordered a made to order calzone with Alfredo sauce and some veggies. When she received said calzone it was burnt all over, no seasonings on crust. Then as she cuts into it she sees that the Alfredo sauce looks chunky like it was a broken when someone prepared the Alfredo. She told the server that she wasn't really liking it that much and the Alfredo was broken and asked if she could get a new one of the same thing. The server takes it from the table and goes to the kitchen with it. Then she returns with the same calzone and says "it's actually the ricotta cheese in it that's chunky not the Alfredo sauce" then proceeds to place it back in front of my friend. I was shocked that a server would even do that and not fix the problem. First of all, she did not ask for cheese at all. What if she had been allergic? Then we go to pay our bills and i see that one slice of cake is 9.00. Mind you this is a cake they take out of a freezer. Then i look at the bottom of my check and gratuity is on my bill already adding an extra 7.40 that i didn't want to pay. I will tip a server what they deserve. She didn't even spend more than 30 seconds at our table at a time. She would literally run away. Worst service and cooks I've ever witnessed. I work in a restaurant and none of that they did would be acceptable. You should want to fix things and make customers happy with the product they are spending their hard earned money on. This place is great! We will stop in on our way to Beaver Creek and get dinner before heading up the mountain great pizza and cold beer. They have great appetizers and friendly service. They will also deliver up to Bachelor Gulch, it is so great to have that option. We ordered again from them this past weekend and the food was delivered so fast, everything was hot and delicious, as usual. the poblano queso rangoons are amazing!! read more

Our food was delivered quickly, but we got no utensils and only one packet of ketchup. We ordered a club sandwich with fries, spaghetti with meatballs, and hot chicken wings. The wing sauce was on the side. So we had plain chicken wings we had to dunk in a small container of sauce. The club sandwich was a club sandwich. The spaghetti with meatballs was average at best. I love the pizza, but the customer service is HORRENDOUS!!! I tried to get ahold of them for 20 minutes & when I finally did, the guy sounded annoyed that I wanted to order food from a restaurant. When the pizza finally showed up, the driver forgot the receipt, the pizza wasn't even cut & it was cold. I've had issues the last 3 times now. I'm no longer a Magusto's loving customer. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to pizza. I like red sauce, lots of meat and veggies, and I prefer a thicker, hand-tossed crust over thin crispy crust. Magustos is a great pizza place, but they offer a ton of other great items such as burgers and chicken strips, fish and pastas. One of their less traditional pizzas that I love, and highly recommend is the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. It is fantastic! The Buffalo Chicken Tenders, with their sauce called Sweaty Betty, are awesome too. They have a ton of stuff on the menu I have not tried, but will be trying in subsequent visit. The specials they offer are great too, with all you can eat spaghetti on one night and $10 burger and a beer another. On Friday nights, they even have free beer for a couple hours! They also have a great bar that fills up with drunk snowboarders and French people that insist on holding the doorway open when it is negative 7 outside! People playing Yahtzee on the bar, football and Sportscenter on television, foosball, ping-pong and mustaches everywhere! If you are in the Vail area, and want a good, hearty meal and a fun, loud casual atmosphere, Magusto's is for you! read more

My sister lives in the area, so when I visit her I typically make a stop at Magustos. I am a sit at the bar kind of person, and I always have a good time when I am there. I've just had the typical bar food from there, but it's always hot and delicious for what it is. The bartenders and employees have always been friendly and on point. My friends and I went snowmobiling and were starving. The town looks super cute with some good choices for food but burgers and pizza was what we wanted and this place did not disappoint. A local watering hole serving up good burgers and pizza at a honest price. Is there room for improvement? Yes, would be the answer but the proprietor seems to be working diligently and methodically to redefine and better his establishment. Give the Mexican burger or the Stach pizza a try. Play a game of foosball, pool or ping pong, enjoy a Pacifico with Zoe, the matriarch of the joint, connect with locals, and leave with a smile. Order delivery it took 1:30, when they had said it was gonna take 45 min., when I called for an explanation the bar guy that answer the phone told me the driver should be there at any minute, after 20 min. I called again and instead of giving me an explanation they actually hung up the phone on me. I don't know what kind of food industry people run this place but their customer service is horrible, I would highly recommend NOT going to this place unless u like to be treated disrespectfully. The only reason we called for delivery was because of the confusing venue n horrible service when we went in, thought delivery would be different, I was wrong. Food is average. read more
