    Pork Chop Dinner Plate

Food was large portions and excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Place had upstairs, balcony outside seating and bar area. Many separate areas. Ambiance was sleek and had a contemporary feeling. Only negative was the acoustics of the room we were seated. It was a smaller room with concrete flooring, metal ceiling . There was a party of 8 , and a party of 6 on the same room as us , party of 3, and you could not hear a thing . It was so loud and irritating at one point . Trying to have a conversation was painful. Also a 20% tip was automatically added to our bill even tho there was only 3 of us. My coworker ordered a glass of wine separately and her bill had an automatic 20% tip added. I have never seen that before .

5/5. My beef tenderloin came out looking like it belonged on a magazine cover, and it tasted even better. Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth, paired with asparagus and potatoes that honestly deserve their own round of applause. The specialty cocktails? Dangerous in the best way. Delicious, smooth, and the kind that make you briefly consider quitting your job to become a full-time cocktail critic. The staff was friendly and actually seemed happy to be there (a rare and beautiful thing these days), and the whole vibe was top-notch. Pro tip: get a reservation. This place is clearly popular, and once you eat here, you'll understand why. Already dreaming about coming back.

Met some friends for a brunch date. My friend made a reservation. The decor and lighting were elegant. It was a nice added touch to our girls brunch outing. We were greeted immediately upon entrance and taken to our table. The pleasant waitress came shortly after we were seated. Took our drink orders and appetizer order. We had the shrimp tempura as an appetizer. They were delicious. For the main course, I had the baby back ribs with bacon braised collards and potatoes. Everything tasted really good. I didn't really taste the bacon in the collards which was somewhat disappointing because I was expecting more bacon flavor. Overall, this was a great restaurant that I would go back to.

Went here for a work dinner and everything about it was great! The food was really good, really nice sized portions and not too expensive for the upscale dining experience! This spot seems like it's for any type of occasion or if you just want to stop somewhere good and get a bite to eat. The service was amazing, as well as our waiter, he answered every question we had, was very informed and was ready to get us whatever was needed. The ambiance was amazing as well! I came across these pictures I took and it instantly reminded me that I want to go back ASAP!!

I can't say enough good things about this spot. It had been quite some time since we visited, we just don't eat out a lot, but when friends accepted our invite for dinner and a soccer match I knew just where to book. Make sure to make a reservation because even a week out I wasn't so sure we were going to be able to get a table. We ended up in the upstairs bar area at a high top table and it was just fine for dinner. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well but the way the weather has been lately I didn't want to chance that. Everywhere we looked from the hostess, the bartenders, our waitress and folks that checked in on us, everyone had a smile on their face and were eager to make sure we had the best dining experience. It was refreshing! We started out with cocktails and then moved on to appetizers and entrées. We skipped dessert this time so I can't speak to that but if it's anything like the rest of the meal I'm sure their desserts are amazing. Not all inclusive but we had deviled eggs, mahi tacos, chicken and waffles, the wedge salad, and a flatbread. Tasty tasty tasty!!

    Shrimp and Grits Brunch

Quaint and classy, brunch is only served on the weekends. The Shrimp and Grits is delicious! My guests enjoyed their omelette and rated them 4.5 - 5. They enjoyed the side of fruit which is a little bonus. Service and vibe were good. The flatbread was a nice change, the base was bbq sauce and the jalapeños were just enough heat. We will definitely go back.

We were in the area and so happy we decided on Magnolia Blue after reading all the positive reviews! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon about 4pm. We were immediately impressed with the exterior of the building and made our way to the entrance. We walked in and were greeted by the young lady at the hostess stand. We asked if we could have a seat at the bar, hoping we could watch the football game. She encouraged us to find a seat in the bar area. There was a large table seated in the bar and it appeared they were celebrating a birthday. However, there was no one else seated at the bar, so, we had our choice of seats. We picked two right in front of one of the TV's and connected with the bartender/server. She was happy to find the game we were interested and provided us menus. We immediately knew we wanted to order the meatballs (beef & pork meatballs, san marzano tomato sauce, creamy polenta, parmesan cheese, and parsley) as our appetizer. My wife decided on the Roasted Chicken (a half roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus served with chicken jus). She asked for extra asparagus instead of the potatoes. I chose the MB Burger (NY butcher Pat Lafrieda beef grind of short rib, brisket & chuck, vidalia onion bacon jam, roasted garlic aioli, havarti cheese, and arugula on a brioche bun). I opted for the bacon jam and roasted garlic aioli on the side, and fries. Our meatballs arrived and looked absolutely delicious! We truly enjoyed each and every bite, they were incredible. We began chatting with the General Manager, Luke, who was friendly and welcoming. Our entrees arrived a short time later and looked equally delicious. The roasted chicken meal is huge and my wife really enjoyed it, she thought it was prepared perfectly. I am somewhat of a hamburger expert and the burger at Magnolia Blue does not disappoint, it was very flavorful and tender. I have heard of Pat Lafrieda meats and enjoyed something from them at another restaurant in the past, but right now, I couldn't tell you what the item was, it's been too long. Luke checked in on us periodically and we enjoyed chatting with him. My wife asked him about event space and he was happy to give us a tour. He took us to the second floor which includes another full bar and rooftop seating. My wife is seriously considering Magnolia Blue to host the 2025 holiday party at her employer. We were impressed with Magnolia Blue from beginning to end and are excited to come back soon!

This is one of the best places I've been to in a long time. Both dishes were great, but the curry was a standout. Flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Will be back again. Highly recommend!!

The food was all good, not excellent but where this place shines is selection, ambiance, and service. It truly is a great value and something for everyone, just wasn't wowed by any one dish.

Outstanding meal. Had the shrimp tempura appetizer and the caeser salad. Loved the crisp salad with a light dressing. Salmon with polenta was also tasty. Ended with a warm peach cobbler. What a great experience! Wish I lived closer to High Point but we will be back. Did I mention the great service too?

Always a great experience. Here this time for brunch with friends. Once of my favorite places to dine and have a good time. Live music. Delicious cocktails and a great menu to choose from. Service with a smile!

Me and my family stopped by Magnolia Blue recently for the first time and we all really enjoyed it. The restaurant is modern and has a nice interior. The staff were friendly. We were able to make a reservation online easily with short notice. I believe I made the reservation the day before. We started our meal with a couple appetizers, the street corn dip and the pulled pork spring rolls. Both were really yummy! The corn dip had a great flavor. The pulled pork egg rolls were fried to perfection with a crispy exterior and juicy pork in the center. For my entree I got the MB Pasta and really enjoyed it. It had a great combination of flavors with the sausage and veggies. My family really enjoyed their meals as well!

Cute spot, good for parties up to six, and good food. Unfortunately they were out of a few beers on draft and the waitress wasn't sure of herself when we asked many questions about them. Pork chop had great flavor but was overcooked. Ossobucco also had good flavor but overcooked. Side salad and she crab soups were great. Pasta was a huge portion and waters were flowing. Will come back!

We didn't have reservations but were seated right away, which made for an easy start to the evening. The space has a modern, relaxed vibe that feels perfect for a casual dinner or drinks. They were topped with lobster, bacon, scallions, and a creamy sauce: rich, indulgent, and great for sharing. For the main dish, I had the Ribeye steak with a side of cauliflower mash. The steak had a nice sear and great flavor, and the cauliflower mash was smooth, creamy and delicious, making it a great alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. A solid first visit with flavorful dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. Earl's Landing is a great new addition to the downtown High Point dining scene, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. I like visiting on Friday nights for after date drinks. The atmosphere is great too. There are candles always burning, which gives the whole bar a warm, laid-back glow, and the flamingos add a fun, slightly quirky touch that makes the place feel memorable and unique. The cocktails are consistently excellent. You can tell the bartender really cares about what they're making and you can ask for modification and they will give them to you. Everything is balanced, creative, and thoughtfully put together. Whether you order something from the menu or ask for a classic, it's always spot on. The prices are great for the quality, usually $15-$20 for a cocktail, which feels completely fair for craft drinks like these. One of my favorite details is the playlist. It's always so good -- a mix of current hits and those deep cuts you forgot you loved, and it somehow always fits the vibe perfectly. It is in downtown Greensboro, so be prepared for parking as it is not nearby. Great drinks, great music, candles glowing, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay for just one more round. I'll visit again soon.

Seasonal cocktails were flowing the nights we visited--peppermint espresso martinis, spiced nightcaps, and cranberry-ginger mules kept the holiday spirit high during the cold night. Then karaoke took over, with the whole room singing along to crowd favorites like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," that Hawaiian Christmas song haha plus there was a dramatic, everyone-at-the-bar version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
