This was my first time in. A lot of things looked good on menu. I got the Thai beef salad cooked medium. It was a very plentiful salad. However, I do wish there was more sauce in it. There was a peanut sauce, but I would've liked something of more like an Asian tasting sauce. The service was good. We started outside and were able to move inside when it started raining. Our drinks were refilled a lot. I will definitely come back here and try other things. There is a gravel a parking lot.

This place was awesome! Has a nice interior and little patio on the side for nice weather. The cocktails are delicious and well priced. The staff are super attentive. For my sandwich I asked them for a recommendation for a dipping sauce and they brought me four different sauces! So kind. The food was so good and decently priced and came out quickly. I 100000000% will be back!

Fishbones is a good late night spot. They have cheap beers and a number of options available for seafood and non seafood eaters. I loved the rooster sauce. The fish and chips were plentiful and came with corn and slaw. Prices are fair. Staff was nice and engaging. This would be nice for a first date. My friends order was wrong but everyone else was satisfied with the experience.

A great place to have a cold beer and some sold food...better quality and variety than you probably would expect. Their wings have a Thai flair with hint of lemongrass that is excellent. The twisted chicken has an excellent flavor and heat profile. The cooping is excellent and not something you might think they would have. Wonderful flavor, fresh sea food and great bread for the broth! Lastly, their version of friend oysters are excellent. Great food, comfortable environment, friendly service and a comfortable environment. Give it a try!

Found on yelp - giving it a try as we are exploring places in Greensboro. We went early before noon - not many people yet Thai clam - different from what we thought but a very nice surprise- flavorful and very fresh. Fried oyster - light batter and fried just right so it's juicy and crunchy. My son loved the steak burrito - sizable and flavorful The jumbo shrimp is definitely big - side of sweet potatoes tots finish the dish. Nc catfish - taste good but we can use another filet Overall decent flavors.

Today was only my second time here and I asked myself why I don't eat here more often! I love the location right in the hub of walker avenue. The staff were attentive and quick. It is a small charming place that the worn wood look inside reminds me of a cozy fishing dock. The food was AMAZING! I have been craving a rare tuna sandwich and boy did they deliver. It was fresh and sooooooo delicious!!! The cocktail they served me was exactly what I needed after a long shift. I will absolutely be back and recommend others check them out too! They have weekly specials that are amazing, and their bar is nothing to ignore!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you cannot find a better filet mignon dinner in NC for the price. Pre COVID the filet with 2 sides was $15. It's now $24 but we'll worth it. My wife and I usually split the 6oz filet that comes with huge portions of 2 sides. We regularly go with the sweet potato tots and blackened green beans. Everything here is worthy of a much higher price. The quality of their food is exceptional. Also, tell me where else on the planet you can get a 20oz draft of craft beer for $6. The parking can be difficult behind the restaurant but just park to the side of Suds n Duds and walk across the street. I promise you that this will be your new favorite to go place.

If I lived in the area, I would be a regular! I could see myself hanging out with friends or going by myself with a good book. I really liked the relaxed atmosphere. The servers were attentive and genuinely friendly. I had and loved the fried bologna sandwich with fries and my partner had the freid catfish. Yep, I am a fan!

I come here from time to time and generally end up ordering one (or more) of the specials. Couldn't decide this time so I ordered everything that appealed to me. The grouper fingers were bland, just tasted like fried panko. The sauce didn't help. The salt & pepper catfish along with the beans and rice was very good. The lemon pepper wings with garlic herb butter was amazing!! The garlic wasn't overpowering and it had the perfect crispness. I wasn't expecting it to have a bit of heat/spice but it was perfect. I would definitely eat the last 2 again!! No pics of the wings because I demolished them at home.

When I order takeout, I normally don't review the place because I didn't stay there long enough to get the whole experience but I can tell you, hands down, this was one of the best takeout experiences I've had in a while. I love how the place is so local to greensboro and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in town or visiting. I always drove past and saw people on the patio sitting talking and enjoying their lunch and a few weeks ago, I found out why. Here's their secret: the staff is seriously really friendly. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I needed to be helped, they had a sense of urgency and welcomeness that I really appreciated. The food was a 10/10 for sure! I got the shrimp and grits which was really delicious and my side was the asparagus which I was not expecting to be smoked but it was really delicious nonetheless. The expediency and delivery of my dinner was commendable and I will defiantly dining soon to enjoy the full experience.

We were driving through Greensboro and Fishbones looked like a great place to stop for a late lunch on a Sunday. It's seat yourself and had a great casual vibe to it. The menu had a great variety and they clearly listed their specials on the boards around the biz. They had indoor and outdoor seating, it was way too hot for us to eat outside so indoor it was. I got the crab soup which was delicious and had tons of crab in it. I was especially impressed that the price was so reasonable at only $5. We also went with a dozen of the middleneck clams and the catfish bites special of the day. Everything came out pipping hot and fresh. The clams had a great flavor to the broth and came with huge hunks of bread. My husband had ordered extra bread since he didn't realize bread already came with the dish. I wish the waitress would have told us that, but nonetheless their ciabatta was tasty. The catfish bites were super flavorful and a great dish to share. Service was friendly and prices for seafood were super reasonable. We would definitely go back if we were in the area.

I needed a Bloody Mary to sip on while pondering my choices. Well, the Bloody Mary was almost a meal in itself! A slice of Sour dough bread topped with several pickles and olives, a lime, the obligatory stalk of celery, and a mighty fine slice of bacon. After eating my way down to the Bloody Mary, I found it delicious with a very nice kick. Despite the Bloody Mary appetizer, I ordered the Steak and Egg Burrito and a side of Guilford Mill cheese grits. I'm very picky about my grits and consider myself a grit connoisseur and these are top shelf! The Steak and Egg Burrito was excellent...and huge! My wife selected one of the three Eggs Benedict options with fruit and found it to be delicious and more than she could eat. Our service was very friendly and checked on us just enough (that's good). I'm not going to let a few months go by without visiting again.

The chicken is moist and tender, and the pimento cheese is tasty without being overly heavy on the mayonnaise. On this last visit, I got the panko fried cauliflower as my side and it was okay, not amazing. The breading was nice and crunchy but there wasn't enough flavor, even with the dip, so I wouldn't order this again. I usually get the brussels sprouts as a side, and those are a much more satisfying, delicious choice in my opinion. My husband ordered The Roast Beast panini this time - I had a bite with the au jus and thought it was excellent. I love when restaurants offer mocktails and Melt has a few on their menu. I tried the Blood Orange mocktail and it was unfortunately a bit too heavy on the lime for me. I wouldn't order this again. I find the atmosphere of Melt to be cozy and I love the lighting and decor. The restaurant is on the smaller side and it seems to always have a crowd, so it can get pretty noisy.

It's a great little restaurant with a fun atmosphere and great music. We started with the Fried Goat Cheese Balls and the Fried Cauliflower, and both were excellent. The goat cheese balls were crispy on the outside and creamy inside, while the cauliflower was perfectly fried and packed with flavor. I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger special, and it was phenomenal. Juicy, cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of heat and all the flavors you'd expect from a great jalapeño popper. Easily one of the better specialty burgers I've had. They also have a great beer and wine selection, which made it easy to find the perfect pairing with our meal. If you're traveling and looking for something far better than the usual fast food off the interstate, Hops Burger Bar is absolutely worth the quick detour. Since I was driving back by on my home the next day, had a late lunch. Arrived around 3pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. Given the hour, it was fairly quiet. Weird experience, bar was wide open. I went to the bathroom and when I came back, someone decided to sit in the seat right next to me. Why?! I must comment on the service. The barkeep got me a menu quick and I ordered a water. During my meal, my water sat empty for 5 minutes or so even thought I counted 8 staff members behind the bar. Given the time of day, it was not busy. I ordered onion rings (as a side) and the Bacon Jam burger as it came with the "cordon Bleu" fries. The onion rings stole the show. So good. The fries were not my jam. Low quality cheese sauce with lunch meat ham that was diced. My fault, I should have subbed regular fries as I don't like stuff on my fries. I was expecting it to be a seasoning. My mistake. The burger was good not great. I got the 12 oz size and learned it is 2 fat 6 oz. patties stacked. Makes it VERY tall. The description of this burger is shown in one of my photos. Again, it was good but the flavors just did not pop. Wish I got the French Onion burger. Next time. :-) I do recommend!

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.
