Payer Beware: My daughter and I went to this shop a few days ago for the first time and had a bill of $85.00. I was charged $1.70 fee for using my card. I paid a flat amount of $95.00. Yesterday, I was looking over my bank statement and realized I was charged a final payment of $96.70. I called the shop today and spoke with the daughter whom said that they "thought" I wanted to leave a $10 tip and so they added the additional charge to my bill. I said, "No, I left a flat $95 on purpose"! She then asked if I wanted them to Venmo me the money or we could pick up the difference in cash (which is what we opted for). We will not be going back! If I can't trust them to run the payment as specified, I just won't be supporting their business. Please be aware when paying by card and double check the final billed amount. read more

Had some time on a Saturday and thought I'd get my nails and toes done. Picked out my color , put my toes in the water and enjoyed a nice pedi ---no complaints. Same for my mani---for a regular mani (#1) which was $15.00 (I don't do gel ---just natural) and left with pretty nails and toes. The only downside was that some of the areas in the salon were cluttered and not maintained----the station was fine, so I wasn't worried, but I wasn't impressed with the ambiance. WARNING....WARNING....WARNING‼ If you get your nails done here, you WILL end up with a toenail fungus that's close to impossible to get rid of! They DO NOT sanitize their implements between each client and only rinse tubs out! I've seen some of the grossest stuff in tubs, then when person leaves, they rinsed out and started filling for next person! These people are criminal! Not to mention they laugh at you as you try to communicate with them...we are the fools, we keep going and paying them! Somebody needs to shut this place down. I urge you to remove polish and check your toes girls....if at all yellow, black or discolored, go seek a medical doctor! 3.5 STARS really. I've been here 4 times and I think it's time for a review. I always have Lin do my toenails and I always bring my own nail polish. (I always do this no matter where I go.) I'm not picky, I want clean toenails at the end of service and if I mess up the polish as wait for it to dry that she will fix it. (And she has.) The extra star is for her friendly attitude, but I'm not happy with the paint job. I just wanted a basic manicure and it looked nice until the paint. There is quite a bit on my skin and normally they take a q-tip with polish remover to get any extra and this didn't happen. There are bubbles in the paint as well. read more

I had an AWFUL experience here which included receiving a really deep cut on my finger which still hurts an hour later. She didn't even apologize, and she sprayed alcohol in it, which of course made it hurt worse. Only giving 2 stars because my nails look pretty cute. Update a week later: My finger still hurts and is badly infected, even though I've been washing it every day. I'm reporting this disgusting business. read more

It's hard to even give this place one star. I went in for a full set which said it was only $25 on the outside and inside of the store. At first, they tried to get me to pick out a gel polish and I said I wanted the most basic. They seemed impatient and quite unfriendly. The man doing my nails tore apart my skin under my middle finger and knew, but never stopped to check it. When I was drying my nails, I sat there for 10 minutes and he even told me that he "forgot." AWFUL! Terrible, the worst! Don't bother! I really wish I would have read the reviews before going here. By far the worst pedicure experience I've had. Denny or whatever his name is was really rough. Instead of telling me to lift my foot he would grab leg of ankle squeeze hard and pull. His "massage" was terrible if that's even what you want to call it. When he filed my toenails he used a thin ass file that cut into my skin. Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing and nice, this was a special kind of torture. I can't believe I paid for it. I opted for the $40 (most expensive one) and he brought out the hot stones and kept burning me with them. I kept having to pull away. He cut my toenails too short and one is jagged. I should have walked away there but I needed a fill and one nail repaired because it broke. So here we go again... he removed the remaining acrylic from my broken nail and grabbed me with the cuticle cutter he was using. Needless to say it really hurt. My nails are thin under that acrylic so any poking or heat is going to make me jump. Then came the file drill. He kept filing to long in one spot on each of my nails and of course friction happens, it burns. I could tell he was starting to get frustrated with me because I kept flinching and telling him he was hurting me through the pedicure and now the fill. He glued on a New nail on my finger and he screwed up and cut it too short. When I called him on it and tried to compare the length with the rest of my nails he started to argue with me. He said he would make them all even, so I gave him a chance. NOPE, still too short and wide. He said he would take it off and start over but I wasn't about to let him hurt me more. I told him to just finish the job. He applied two super almost transparent coats of gel polish so I asked him for one more coat because I don't want my nails see-through!!! He made a grunting noise and applied another super thin coat. (They're still a little transparent) He had the nerve to cope an attitude after all this crap. When I pointed out the nail he fixed was too short he kept arguing and being an asshole so I gave up. I realize that not everyone's work is going to look the same, but a simple measuring/comparison so they are the same length isn't too much to ask for. The kicker is I got a pedicure that sucked, a simple fill and broken nail repair that sucked even more and I was charged $90 f**king dollars!?!?!? DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!! They don't listen, do a good job or care if they cut or hurt you and they have terrible attitudes! read more

I went and got a pedicure at Magic nails and I was completely unsatisfied. They didn't let the polish dry long enough and started messing with it. I also got a manicure in the top layer of the polish peeled off after two days and one hot shower. And there is a lot of bubbles in the polish and is chipping fast on my toes. read more

This place is nothing but a SCAM I took my sweet mother to get a basic pedicure and they told her to pick out a nail polish that they had in front and even pointed to the nail polish so my mom did, she sat all the way at the end so I couldn't see her but when she was finished we went to pay and it was $25! We were confused and said no we just got a basic manicure and the woman said the nail polish was gel well my mother clearly stated she didn't want gel! They pulled the same thing with a girl earlier and she was pretty upset. My mother and I were furious and they did nothing about it. This place was nothing but a SCAM and I will NEVER go back. On November 5th I got a new gel set & a gel pedicure, and I am proud to say that today December 7th my nails may be a little grown out but all 20 of them are all still polished and shiny. These are the best nail people in town, and I have been almost everywhere and have lived here a while. They're very nice and do a great job I've never not been satisfied, and that says a lot if you get your nails done a lot. They just did my feet and hands for my sisters wedding and it was tricky finding the right color to match my dress but they were very nice about it while I couldn't make up my mind. I also smudged my toes and he repainted them and fixed it making it perfect. Thanks so much I will be back in a few weeks for a fill! read more

Impatient and rude! Bad attitude all around but worst of all they reused the same equipment on my friend and I without cleaning.

Staff was not friendly or welcoming from the time I walked in. Their store front says "walk ins welcome" and I was turned away and blatantly lied to and told that they were busy when there were only three other patrons in the salon with plenty of other staff there. Needless to say I won't be returning to this salon. I'd suggest you save your money or go else where. read more
