Vina is absolutely amazing, any design you show her she will perfect it and get it done. The atmosphere is calm everyone is super sweet. 100% recommend this place.

Ow, ow, ouch!!! Call me crazy, but manicures should not be painful!! He didn't understand me when I asked for dip powder manicure and kept trying to do gel, another lady had to come and explain it to him and it might've been his first time doing this kind of manicure. I really wish the other lady would've taken over. My cuticles are still throbbing from where the mini drill slipped and cut my skin open multiple times. The other manicurist who did my daughter's nails was nice enough and didn't cause her pain, but good grief, her apathetic attitude was so off-putting. And they didn't offer us water or anything. I usually tip very, very well, so they definitely missed out on a loyal customer.

Wonderful experience! Got the VIP pedicure n nails and I feel so relaxed and am in love with my nails

Amazing work done by Vina! She was very nice and worked fast! Love her sets. Recommend her she is awesome. She really did well with the design. Thank you so much.

First time for us at Aroma, and my 15 year old daughter can't stop talking about how amazing her nails look. She got a full set of acrylics with fine-g French tips, and had a few snowflakes hand painted on a few of her nails . The techs took their time, checked their work, and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked great! I had my very first gel manicure, and it looks perfect! Steven did a beautiful job, my nails look clean, shiny, and subtly sparkly- exactly what I wanted. The salon was clean, temperature was nice, location is great, and service was prompt and professional. We will be back!

vina is amazing! her work is always great & she is super willing to accommodate you & what she believes looks good on you!

Vina is amazing!! Very sweet, and truly talented!! Filled my nails over another techs work even though I said it was okay to take them off and start over, which saved me time and money. I showed her a picture if what I wanted and she nailed it!! I've also never had this shape before and was nervous I wouldn't like this in me, but I love them!!

Vina is an artist, I showed her a pic and she replicated it . She is fast and talented, her fill is 35 mins on my nails. I usually sit for an hr for a fill. I even took my boyfriend for a pedicure 2 weeks ago and all the technicians were super friendly. He was impressed and will be coming back again for another pedicure.

Not sure what the black speck is (it's not a bubble) and you can see where I was cut

The owner has repeatedly asked me to remove my review (doesn't that break yelp's guidelines?). Has offered me discounts, and continues to remove and redo their response to my review so that I keep getting notifications. I won't go back, I ended up with mold under two of the nails that took months to grow out. I won't remove the review because I think my review is an accurate representation of the services offered. And I'd really appreciate if the owner stopped harassing me.

love how vina dose my nails every time I come always doing a great job she works fast and works with your schedule she always make time for her customers and is sure to make you leave here happy and satisfied

I was disappointed with the experience and the fact one of my cuticles is bloody and sore, and how aggressive the Tech was with my hands! I didn't see This establishment being sanitary! And I didn't receive the service or what I asked for! I am very unsatisfied with a set of nails I paid a big fee for. I hope this establishment can improve and learn from this bad experience.

Unfortunately not a great experience. The guy that did my nails, was so rough with the electric filer that he nicked my fingers in a couple places. Then after I left, I realized when he used the cuticle cutter on the side of my nails, he went way too deep and now I have sores on almost all my fingers..

Aroma Nails is my go to place for both my pedicure and nails. The jelly pedicure is my fave, it's fun and really hydrates my feet during summer sandal season. Everything is super clean and the entire team is kind, and professional. read more

Its terrible that I have to leave this review, but after months of going I must!! Love the atmosphere, and love all the people there but THE NAILS SUCK!!!! Get them done and less then a week later there falling off! Went back and asked for xtra glue and or acrylic. I need my nails to stay on. I'm not paying for Walmart press ons!!!! I also leave a very good tip 20 dollars everytime! Then I'm told dont open sodas, why do they come off? Good question. Broke my foot and have had weeks off of work got my nails done and 3 days later the nails started lifting. The whole nail just coming off. Not ripping my skin or nails. Definitely going somewhere else read more

Call customers if you are going to cancel before they arrive for appointments. I drove from Corning, 35 minute drive. My daughter and I had appointments at 5:30 and 6:15. When we arrived. The door was locked and they were working on other people. They expect an hour notice for cancellation from the client but cannot call you to let you know they cannot keep the appointments. read more

This would be the second time we came and I was charged 45 for the first set. Although, the service was very good. I visited the salon on 6/3/25 with my daughter for a nail fill, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to unprofessional and rude behavior from the staff. A male technician instructed my daughter to sit, began working on her nails, and then directed her to another technician once he was done. He then told me to sit down, and before even starting, he threw down his drill and began yelling in another language. I had no idea what was happening--I was simply following instructions. Another technician then told me I had to move because someone who arrived after me had an appointment. I completely understand making room for scheduled clients, but I was not informed of that upfront. The entire situation was confusing, chaotic, and handled very poorly. read more

I went in for a Fill in . They tried to talk smack of the previous work that had been done on my nails but yet I feel like they left me with ugly nails too. It's hard to find a good nail salon in chico. My nails look bulky and bumpy and the polish is somewhat on my skin.. I believe the owner lady did my nails and I was getting internally angry with how rough she was . My cuticles were irritated and dry afterward. She hurt my nails so many times. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! By far the BEST customer service I have ever experienced at a nail salon! It was super clean and the employees took extra precautions due to Covid 19. My nails are fabulous, I don't have any complaints!!! My nails are perfect, The shape, the color and the acrylic technique is amazing, this shop has given me the BEST nails I've ever had! The prices are also amazing! I appreciate my nail tech for taking her time and not skipping any steps & paying attention to the small details. My nail tech also took the time to clean and disinfect as she was doing my nails! This was the first time I actually felt like I wasn't rushed out of a chair.. I am so happy with the outcome of my nails, I appreciate this business taking me in on such a short notice, I called and 30 mins later I was able to walk in! The employees are so professional and kind, I have found my perfect nail salon! Thank you dreamy nail for my perfect nails! read more

My acrylics look great, but at the expense of my natural nail. Two employees dremeled down my nail so thin that the skin felt hot and painful underneath my actual nail. Instead of filing, they dremeled right across my nail tip. I asked that they stop dremeling but they kept going. I would not return here for the sake of my nail health. read more

Today was my second visit to Dreamy Nails and I couldn't be happier! First of all, they were very accomadating getting me in for a pedi and full set in same day. When I arrived, all occupants were wearing masks and I was asked to sanitize and fill out COVID related disclosures. I arrived early but they made sure I was taken care of as soon as I walked in. Each station is sanitized regularly and equipped with a plexiglass barrier. Nancy did a great job on my nails and I can't wait to go back to see her! Worth a 30 min drive from Oroville for sure. While I waiting I noted there are two treatment rooms directly off of the waiting room, odd as I've always been to places where the check in/waiting area is separate from any treatment rooms. So close in-fact I could hear another guest talking to her masseuse. I was praying I wouldn't get the other room off the waiting area, but just my luck that was my room. My masseuse was very pleasant and did a good job. I had no issue with the service but the environment was so far from relaxing. Upon entering my room I noticed how bright it was. No overhead light but a lamp on and a large window with sheer drapes which let in a lot of light. This window also received direct sun which made the room very warm on a 100+ degree day. The massage started and I was trying to relax when there was conversation in the waiting room, a man was checking out and speaking very loud, he then excited the spa. There is a literal bell on the door handle which goes off every time someone enter or exits, if that wasn't enough there is an electronic chime that ALSO goes off every time the front door is used. I understand the purpose but it is far from relaxing hearing multiple chimes/bells when the front door is used. The bell/chimes went off multiple times during my service, very distracting. My treatment room shared the front wall of the business which has parking spots a sidewalks length away. I had the joy of hearing every car door open/close, honks from doors being locked and someone's very loud stereo, don't forget the motorcycle rev. The business is close to the road so you hear the traffic going by. I was there on a weekend so the traffic from the high school wasn't bad and most if not all businesses in the business park were closed. I can't imagine how loud it would be during the week. Following my service I was instructed to put on a robe and wait in the waiting area for my next service. I found it uncomfortable siting in my robe in a public waiting area while I held my clothes in my arms. I was then escorted to my next service, I was optimistic as I was taken back into the spa. Just my luck my next room was located with the main wall against the roadway. Thankfully I had a head wrap on and the facial steamer helped mask the sound of the passing traffic. But again, I could still hear the electronic chime every time someone used the from door. My service was good and the esthetician was pleasant and knowledgeable. I booked my appointment the night before and received multiple "reminder" texts the day of which was nice I'm on the fence if I will return or not, if I did it would only be for a facial as the environment is not relaxing for a massage in my opinion. .

I've been coming here for years. It's the one place I recommend to people when they ask what the best place is in Chico to get a pedicure. That changed today, I had the worst pedicure of my life. The man that did it was the most talkative (not to me) and distracted person. He started on me first and my friend next to me was waiting for her lady. Fast forward 10 min and he has left to talk to another customer about her nails even though she was not getting her nails done and my friends lady has started. He then spends the rest of my pedicure rushing through everything to keep up to my friends pedicurist.... then proceeds to be on his phone for 5 min looking for someone he can't remember the name of and try's to not heat up the hot stones again and barely even massages me compared to my friends. :( He was very nice and I still tipped him 15% but I don't want to pay $50 for something I could've done at home. I pay for a pedicure to be pampered and it was pretty much torture to watch my friend get amazing treatment while I got below mediocre. Will not be returning. read more

Dreamy Nails and Spa is my new spot!!!You know when you go into a salon and the furniture and decorative scheme are intimidatingly ugly and mismatched, and you wonder if you should trust such a place to make you look good? Dreamy nails is the polar opposite!!! I was recommended by a coworker and when I first got to the salon I was wowed by how lovely it is. Everything is so neat and clean in appearance and actually quite comfortable. It's modern and stylishly chic. I loved the variety of colors and the totally personable customer service, too! A trustworthy place to go. They made my nails fabulous :) read more

After having a bad experience at another salon I was so happy that i found Dreamy Nails. There are so many things to say about this place but let me start by saying that they have exceptional customer service. Everybody was very kind and welcoming. My nails were so beautiful and perfect! Larry did an amazing job by taking his time on my nails as opposed to other places i've been to where theyre in a rush for some reason. I HIGHLY recommend this place if u want a good job done and if u want to be treated well. I will definitely be going back! read more

My sister, Grandma and I went here a couple weeks ago as a treat for my grandmas birthday. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, I especially loved the little dog they had there! As for the actual Mani/pedi I wasn't too impressed. My sister got an acrylic mani and within a week the fake nail part started breaking off. My Grandma and I got a pedi and she said she was happy with hers, but they cut my toenails into a pretty funky shape. Over all it was very relaxing but I didn't like the actual product I was paying for. read more

Literally the best manicure I've gotten. I got a new gel manicure and she did amazing. She was super friendly and nice and listened to everything I wanted. She did a lot of nail prep especially on my cuticles which I very much appreciated. When she was painting she got close to the sides and my cuticle and it looks great. Not too thick or too thin. I loved this experience. First of all, I felt like a friend and not just a customer. Secondly, Nancy, Teddy, and Phillip, are the sweetest most relational people, and they are EXCELLENT at what they do. Even if you pick a color that is too light to see or not right for your skin tone, they warn you instead of you being dissapointed later. The place doesn't smell strong of acetone, the atmosphere is professional, and my nails look fantastic. read more

Wouldn't go back. It was a special event and there was a few of us. We were chatty and tried to include the nail techs but there was zero interest in talking to us at all. That's ok, we were there for nails, right? Check out my poor nails that now have to grow out. I'm not sure why a nail drill was used on my cuticle area. Aroma Nails and Spa continues to be very pleasant, friendly and satisfying. ViNa is able to recreate designs with such detail and quality, I'm amazed. My last visit I chose a starry night theme. We were given an option for a free cocktail, wine, margarita or a beer as we were getting into our massage chairs, from the same girl who checked us in. My friend chose a margarita and I chose a beer. Another person came around and informed me they actually didn't have any beer (Corona) which was a bummer. Why offer it if you don't have it? Whatever, I decided on a "margarita" which ended up being strawberry wine and a lime. Umm... that's NOT a margarita. Yes, I know this isn't a bar but my thoughts are: If you are going to offer a drink, make it with the correct ingredients and/or have what you offer in the fridge. Good thing I brought my own drink, not an alcoholic beverage but 100% better than what they offered. You get what you pay for I suppose, lol. Moving on to the pedicure... They have an outstanding color selection for solid colors, jelly, design and glitter colors in both standard nail polish and gel polish. (Best color selection I've ever seen!) An older guy walked in from the back, sat at the foot of the chair I was in, said hello and did his best to ask what color I chose. He didn't speak English at all but he tried so, 'A' for effort. I chose a Classic Pedicure, and he did a decent job. He didn't make any conversation since well... he couldn't because of the language barrier. I didn't mind, I chatted with my friend, zoned out and scrolled my phone. I don't have any complaints, he gave me a basic pedicure which was all I wanted. I trimmed my nails directly before going in because I don't like when the techs cut them since often times they cut them into a shape that I don't like. I asked for "no cut, only file and cuticle removal" so that's what he did along with the massage and painting my nails. I will definitely be visiting this place again, but I'll choose the guy that did my friends nails. I thought hers paint job looked better and her nail tech spoke English so that was a plus. Overall a good experience, just make sure to bring your own drink unless all you want is water or white wine since that's what they seem to have an abundance of.

Front desk girls are even great and helpful. Although, today is the first time I might reconsider going somewhere else for my manicure needs. I was looking forward for some good cuticle care, hand massage , all the things a classic manicure includes on thier service page. My hands got wrecked from work. All I got was the nail color ( I added on the gel x service too ) and nail shaping/cutting. Once the nice guy asked how I like them I said they look great but.. that's it? No cuticle care at least? ( what I desperately needed!) and he said I needed to ask for that in the beginning. He went ahead and did it real quick but still left with my hands not taken 100% care of. You can still can still hang nails, redness, etc. Never have I had to ask to make sure I get all services they display on thier website and in house that you're paying for. Figured since it's advertised it would come with those basic needs ( which usually did come with it before!) I guess it's frustrating I'm paying for the full service and spending the money especially for gel x add on, just to get 50% of the experience. Even gal next to me just got regular gel and she got the massage! Shouldn't be consistent service? I feel crazy for questioning it and maybe that's normal but for sure make sure to ask for the whole package if that matters to you is the point of this post.
