This is really a sweet little nail shop that does excellent work. I'm new to Chico, and have been twice, but won't return due to the add-on fees that make pretty basic services outrageously expensive. My most recent trip was for a gel mani. Their pricing works like this: $5 gel removal fee (for the gel polish they put on me at my last appt) + $35 manicure + $15 up-charge for new gel. I'm sorry, but $55 is insane for a gel mani. I got $35 gel mani's every two weeks when I lived in Sacramento (at a very nice shop in Fair Oaks). $55 is acrylic fill territory! This is a nice shop, with nice people, that does nice work. Their price structure is prohibitive, though. read more

By far superior to the other 4 places I've been, including a very expensive one that did not debride the dead skin, just scrubbed it. I had Jenna. Took about an hour. $65 My daughter had a gel manicure with Randy. $50 She wants only him to do her nails from now on. My friend and I had scheduled appointments we were rushed the whole time nothing about getting a pedicure was relaxing. The whole pedicure took them about 30 minutes. I went to Instant Nails for the first time last night. I got a fill with gel polish. Getting my nails done every could of weeks is my time to relax and do something for me. I'm not much of a talker after a long day at work so I put in one headphone and watched my show while the nicest lady did my nails. She checked in with me every step of the way to make sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. I also love that they take later appointments since I don't get off of work until 5pm. So I did give this place another try. My sister told me that their pedicures were to die for and she booked us an appointment and she was right. It is 1 hours of amazing. I went back again yesterday for pedicure, which was everything I wanted it to be. The half hour foot massage is so good you can't help but nod off. I also went in for a facial. It had been awhile since I had one and even though I was my face daily it needed some loving. It was 55 dollars for 1 hour. They have other packages but I figured 1 hour would do me justice. The room was a bit cold but a towel did the trick. I fell asleep some time during it. Woke up thinking I was done but i still had the mask and an amazing arm and scalp massage to do.
