So happy with my nails!! My daughter and I came here on Mother's Day and they were so kind and patient with her! Nancy did an amazing gel manicure and pedicure for me and took the time to make sure each nail was perfect!! I came back again today to refresh my manicure and can confirm this place is the best. I decided to try the dip powder and Danny did excellent work! They're a family owned business and you can tell that everyone there genuinely cares about quality work and great customer service. Definitely coming back regularly!

Chico Nails and Beauty is a great space that offers incredible service and great vibes. Recently taken over by Danny & David, they provide you with a quality experience from start to finish with reasonable prices. While receiving your services, they give you an option of a beverage while you are there and are welcoming and kind from the moment you enter the shop. I've known Danny for 10 years and I've literally followed him from every shop he's worked at in Chico and now he's part owner of Chico Nails!! He's extremely deserving of this because of his customer service and attention to detail for his clients! Maily, his wife is the queen of nail designs and art. Danny's mom, Nancy, is incredible with pedicures and gives an amazing massage. Together, the service that they all provide at Chico Nails is the best and I heavily recommend them to anyone. There literally aren't enough words to say about this shop and these owners. They will always have my support and get my business because they are top tier!

I love this spot! They do a great job and are very sweet. The salon is clean, relaxing and quiet! I had to bring my young kids with me and they were accommodating and so helpful, allowing me to enjoy my experience.

Maily and her husband Danny took over Chico Nails and Beauty! They are great people and I'm happy to support them when I'm home. VERY GOOD SERVICE! Danny does an amazing job doing dip nails. I live 2 hours away from Chico, in Quincy, and have been driving for Danny to do my nails for 8 years. Mai, Danny's wife also does an amazing pedicure, as well as his mother Nancy. As you can tell it is a family run business, so the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The others in the business are also very friendly and do great work also. It is worth a visit to Chico Nails and Beauty!!

I brought in a reference photo and my nail tech did a beautiful job! It was a photo that was not very easily translatable, and he did a great job asking me what I was going for and we modified it is bit. Literally, loved my nails for 3 weeks!!! They stayed on, no chips, no breaks. I soaked them three times to get them off, so those suckers were really on there! No nails popping off!! My nonagenarian mom was ready for an outing, so we booked Chico Nails for pedicures. Linda was so very kind to Mom, who has mobility and memory challenges. Linda also did a great job faced with long-untended feet. Henry was friendly and helpful for me. I highly recommend this nail salon. Note they have a special going for a bit (Began Memorial Day weekend, 2026). Buy a gift card and get discounted services. read more

I'm training for my first marathon (CIM 2021) and my toes have become mangled with all the training and long runs I've been doing... I went to Chico Nails for a simple spa pedicure + callus removal and received unbelievable service. When you run 35+ miles every week, you develop serious calluses that can actually get very rigid and painful if not maintained. Sarah at Chico Nail took VERY GREAT care of me and reduced all my calluses and hard-skin areas and gave me a very soothing calf and shin massage. Not happy with my experience at all. Charged me 3 times, took over 2 hours and didn't listen to what I wanted at all. Just avoid this place & go somewhere else honestly. Only positive thing was I got lots of compliments on my nails but they were way too long so I ended up having to cut them down myself. I hate leaving bad reviews but having to dispute payments with your bank over okay looking nails is not worth it. 4/10 read more

Nice small salon with 5 pedi chairs and 4 nail stations, shows they're not overwhelmed and have time for personalized care. My basic mani/pedi was $35. An extra $10 to get them buffed to a high shine exactly like I like them. Very courteous. read more

This is the absolute best place for eyebrow waxes! They are so thorough and precise every time. They comb your brows out, trim and shape them, wax them, then tweeze any strays. She spent about 25 minutes on them total. They are cheaper than the Benefit Brow Bar, and are much more thorough and consistent. In addition, they recently remodeled the entire salon which is an added bonus. They are my favorite little hidden gem. read more

I have a wonderful luxury pedicure and simple manicure with this lovely and friendly couple for $57 total. They did an excellent job. Walk in on a Saturday. Not a super fancy place and it doesn't need to be. Just real people working hard. Liked it a lot. Wonderful service and care. read more

Please note this review is not a reflection of the staff, just my personal opinion of the overall experience. The masseuse and esthetician were good however I had a few issues with the location. Located in a business park and very close to a main road right across from a high school. Upon entering the clean waiting room I was greeted and given paperwork to complete. There was a diffuser on, with a pleasant smell however the scent was extremely overwhelming...like hit you in the back of the throat, coughing overwhelming. While I waiting I noted there are two treatment rooms directly off of the waiting room, odd as I've always been to places where the check in/waiting area is separate from any treatment rooms. So close in-fact I could hear another guest talking to her masseuse. I was praying I wouldn't get the other room off the waiting area, but just my luck that was my room. My masseuse was very pleasant and did a good job. I had no issue with the service but the environment was so far from relaxing. Upon entering my room I noticed how bright it was. No overhead light but a lamp on and a large window with sheer drapes which let in a lot of light. This window also received direct sun which made the room very warm on a 100+ degree day. The massage started and I was trying to relax when there was conversation in the waiting room, a man was checking out and speaking very loud, he then excited the spa. There is a literal bell on the door handle which goes off every time someone enter or exits, if that wasn't enough there is an electronic chime that ALSO goes off every time the front door is used. I understand the purpose but it is far from relaxing hearing multiple chimes/bells when the front door is used. The bell/chimes went off multiple times during my service, very distracting. My treatment room shared the front wall of the business which has parking spots a sidewalks length away. I had the joy of hearing every car door open/close, honks from doors being locked and someone's very loud stereo, don't forget the motorcycle rev. The business is close to the road so you hear the traffic going by. I was there on a weekend so the traffic from the high school wasn't bad and most if not all businesses in the business park were closed. I can't imagine how loud it would be during the week. Following my service I was instructed to put on a robe and wait in the waiting area for my next service. I found it uncomfortable siting in my robe in a public waiting area while I held my clothes in my arms. I was then escorted to my next service, I was optimistic as I was taken back into the spa. Just my luck my next room was located with the main wall against the roadway. Thankfully I had a head wrap on and the facial steamer helped mask the sound of the passing traffic. But again, I could still hear the electronic chime every time someone used the from door. My service was good and the esthetician was pleasant and knowledgeable. I booked my appointment the night before and received multiple "reminder" texts the day of which was nice I'm on the fence if I will return or not, if I did it would only be for a facial as the environment is not relaxing for a massage in my opinion. .

I LOVE ANNA SO MUCH. She has been doing my lashes for almost 3 years now and has been consistent with the quality of her work. When I first started getting my lashes done, my eyes weren't used to it and they would water a lot. Anna was so patient and kind and helped me through the whole process. She is intentional and knowledgable about her craft. I recommend her to all my friends in Chico. The staff has been nothing but friendly and accommodating for the past 3 years. I just moved to the area and desperately needed my nails and toes done. The service was fantastic. However it fell short of 5 stars due to two reasons. 1. I felt the price was a little high. I paid $71 for the signature pedicure and a gel manicure. 2. My gel French manicure looked mediocre. I wasn't impressed with the lines, shape, and overall look. The ladies were super nice and my pedicure was awesome. But for almost $80 my nails should look AMAZING not just "good". I would recommend just no French tip. read more

I have been coming here since the new owners opened... I followed Tammy here because I love her so much! She does an amazing job every time even with all the crazy designs I ask her to do. I usually get acrylic nails and it seemed like everytime I got my nails done before the person would hurt me or make my nails bleed when using the drill. Tammy has never cut me or damaged my nails. 10/10 recommend coming here! read more

The salon is clean and immaculate & the pedicure chairs are brand new & give the most relaxing massage. They offer a variety of beverages and customer service is a priority. He shaped my nails and did a good job on the cuticles but he pulled the tools out from under the table and sprayed them with what I am assuming was rubbing alcohol. They were not in a sealed packet like I'm used to seeing. I could also see that the buffing pad that he used had been used before. That made me a little uncomfortable. The pedicure was a really bad experience for me. The woman did a good job of clipping, filing and cuticle trimming, and this time the tools did come out of a sealed packet, however, when she started to use the pumice stone, I pointed out that I had a thick callous on my big toe and asked her to pay a little extra attention to that. she started rubbing on it really hard and fast like she was sanding a table. It really hurt and I asked to stop. I ended up with a wound on my toe when she was done (see photo). When she started to polish my nails, she noticed the wound and looked at me and shrugged like "oh well". I will never go back.

Lily was incredibly sweet, especially when she let me talk her ear off about my life the entire time my hair was being cut but I truly did have such a great conversation and experience at The Chico Hair Salon. My hair turned out gorgeous as well! I love it. She even gave me tips and tricks on how to keep it styled with minimal time and effort. Overall I must say that Lily and her mother are very wonderful, kind, sweet, and talented women. I will be going back again!

Also did not cuticles trimmed or lotion put on my hands at all. The lady also went directly from saying you are done to doing another clients nails. I felt rushed and like I did not matter because there was a regular there. I will not being back and getting my nails done here ever again.
