We were given an option for a free cocktail, wine, margarita or a beer as we were getting into our massage chairs, from the same girl who checked us in. My friend chose a margarita and I chose a beer. Another person came around and informed me they actually didn't have any beer (Corona) which was a bummer. Why offer it if you don't have it? Whatever, I decided on a "margarita" which ended up being strawberry wine and a lime. Umm... that's NOT a margarita. Yes, I know this isn't a bar but my thoughts are: If you are going to offer a drink, make it with the correct ingredients and/or have what you offer in the fridge. Good thing I brought my own drink, not an alcoholic beverage but 100% better than what they offered. You get what you pay for I suppose, lol. Moving on to the pedicure... They have an outstanding color selection for solid colors, jelly, design and glitter colors in both standard nail polish and gel polish. (Best color selection I've ever seen!) An older guy walked in from the back, sat at the foot of the chair I was in, said hello and did his best to ask what color I chose. He didn't speak English at all but he tried so, 'A' for effort. I chose a Classic Pedicure, and he did a decent job. He didn't make any conversation since well... he couldn't because of the language barrier. I didn't mind, I chatted with my friend, zoned out and scrolled my phone. I don't have any complaints, he gave me a basic pedicure which was all I wanted. I trimmed my nails directly before going in because I don't like when the techs cut them since often times they cut them into a shape that I don't like. I asked for "no cut, only file and cuticle removal" so that's what he did along with the massage and painting my nails. I will definitely be visiting this place again, but I'll choose the guy that did my friends nails. I thought hers paint job looked better and her nail tech spoke English so that was a plus. Overall a good experience, just make sure to bring your own drink unless all you want is water or white wine since that's what they seem to have an abundance of.

All I got was the nail color ( I added on the gel x service too ) and nail shaping/cutting. Once the nice guy asked how I like them I said they look great but.. that's it? No cuticle care at least? ( what I desperately needed!) and he said I needed to ask for that in the beginning. He went ahead and did it real quick but still left with my hands not taken 100% care of. You can still can still hang nails, redness, etc. Never have I had to ask to make sure I get all services they display on thier website and in house that you're paying for. Figured since it's advertised it would come with those basic needs ( which usually did come with it before!) I guess it's frustrating I'm paying for the full service and spending the money especially for gel x add on, just to get 50% of the experience. Even gal next to me just got regular gel and she got the massage! Shouldn't be consistent service? I feel crazy for questioning it and maybe that's normal but for sure make sure to ask for the whole package if that matters to you is the point of this post.

If you get the " blonde" one, DO NOT buy any pampering package on top of your gel pedicure. She's…read morejust awful. She's distracted. She didn't even notice that she filled the basin you place your feet in with ice cold water. She acted annoyed when I asked her to drain it out and replace it with hot water. They don't have the right kind of lamp that just goes right over your foot, so you have to constantly pick up your foot and point your toes ever so perfectly to avoid hitting the still wet gel polish on the edges of the lamp! There are dings and dents in my big toe polish on my right foot because of that. But they're not very deep because she skipped so many layers in my cat eye finish. More on that in a second. She puts overly hot wax, rocks and towels on your skin. She does an uneven and unbalanced massage that's very half-assed and unsatisfying. It was a huge waste of $50 on top of what the gel polish cost $20) , and the tip. Because I am somebody who always tips 20%, and having been in the beauty business for 20 years myself, I know a person can have an 'off' day, so she got $84 total from me and I felt like an absolute fool afterwards when I saw the actual color job. It's very flat and un dimensional. She must've skipped a layer or two. It's a cat eye finish so there needs to be specific layers that get cured first before the magnetic layer and then another clearcoat or two. That's what gives it that really spectacular depth and dimension which this gel pedicure is totally missing. Not to mention, she overly exposes her cleavage, which is unflattering and ridiculous. She's practically spilling out of her shirt while leaning over and doing the pedicure. It had been almost 10 years since my last pedicure and I don't get my nails done on my hands because I'm a gardener and musician. This whole experience was a stark reminder of why I had stopped going and getting my nails done in the first place so long ago. NEVER AGAIN. I'm giving two stars because the salon itself is beautiful and you can tell that the owners put a lot of effort into it and it's not their fault that she doesn't care and doesn't like what she's doing and should obviously be trying to do something else with her life.
