He shaped my nails and did a good job on the cuticles but he pulled the tools out from under the table and sprayed them with what I am assuming was rubbing alcohol. They were not in a sealed packet like I'm used to seeing. I could also see that the buffing pad that he used had been used before. That made me a little uncomfortable. The pedicure was a really bad experience for me. The woman did a good job of clipping, filing and cuticle trimming, and this time the tools did come out of a sealed packet, however, when she started to use the pumice stone, I pointed out that I had a thick callous on my big toe and asked her to pay a little extra attention to that. she started rubbing on it really hard and fast like she was sanding a table. It really hurt and I asked to stop. I ended up with a wound on my toe when she was done (see photo). When she started to polish my nails, she noticed the wound and looked at me and shrugged like "oh well". I will never go back.

It was my first time getting a full set done and wanted my nails round due to normal having long nails and that is the shape I like. Got home an a few hours later really looked at my nails and they are all different shapes mostly square with rounded corners and I specifically said and pointed to the round nail on there chart. Also did not cuticles trimmed or lotion put on my hands at all. The lady also went directly from saying you are done to doing another clients nails. I felt rushed and like I did not matter because there was a regular there. I will not being back and getting my nails done here ever again.

My fill was super precise, neat, and sleek. It's honestly the best French set I've gotten in Chico in the past three years. Prices are very reasonable, the salon is well ventilated with no strong polish fumes, nicely organized and clean and there's plenty of free parking right out front. I'd highly recommend these ladies and look forward to coming back!

Yesterday, I was looking over my bank statement and realized I was charged a final payment of $96.70. I called the shop today and spoke with the daughter whom said that they "thought" I wanted to leave a $10 tip and so they added the additional charge to my bill. I said, "No, I left a flat $95 on purpose"! She then asked if I wanted them to Venmo me the money or we could pick up the difference in cash (which is what we opted for). We will not be going back! If I can't trust them to run the payment as specified, I just won't be supporting their business. Please be aware when paying by card and double check the final billed amount.

Why I Highly Recommend This Place: * Warm and Welcoming Staff: The staff are incredibly kind. The smaller scale allows for attentive service and feels more welcoming than larger nail salons. * Clean Environment: The space is clean, nicely decorated, and well-maintained. They have nice new foot soaking/pedicure chairs. * Flawless Craftsmanship: They always do a phenomenal job on my nails and often have new products it techniques to try. My nails last 14 days or more (which is a long time for me). * Great Precision: sometimes you just need a good manicure- I'm always happy with the care and detail to my nails and skin * Relaxing Atmosphere: They make you feel pampered and comfortable from start to finish.
