Walked in and almost passed out from the HEAVY toxic fumes. They had the doors closed (which means NO fresh air) and although it was cool inside, I'm sure I killed a couple hundred brain cells by simply inhaling that smell for a 1/2 hour. I even asked them to forgo the "massage" so I could hurry up and get the hell outta there. Coming from LA, I'm accustomed to super competitive prices and amazing mani/pedis. This place is definitely not worth the price they charge. $43 for a basic mani pedi, not including tip and the colors they have to choose from are primarily fluorescents. GAG. I'm not a teenager nor am I in college and I barf a little thinking of myself wearing fluorescent blue, green or yellow. I guess that's primarily who they do mani/pedis on- kids who actually like those obnoxious colors. Tip 1: Bring your own color, their selection pretty much SUCKS. Tip 2: Wear a gas mask or hazmat suit if you decide to go to this place... The smell is TOXIC. The mani lasted 2 days and then began to chip and the pedi had bubbles in it after it dried. Additionally, my cuticles started peeling on the bottom from the shotty job they did. Sexy. I should have done it myself I would have gotten 110% better results AND it would have lasted longer. I noticed another Yelper mentioned how clean it was. What I witnessed was a plastic bag put around the bowl of the pedi tub before my pedi then, after my pedi the guy simply took it out, shook it and put it back in his nail caddy. GROSS. Uh yeah, not so "clean". I can assure you that's so he can use it for the next customer. Believe me, I watched and he never threw it away. Also, I was the only customer in the salon, there were 3 workers sitting around doing nothing and a lady came in to have her eyebrows waxed. They made her sit there for 15 minutes before one of the workers decided she was done shooting the sh*t w/ her coworker before they actually helped her. REALLY??!?!? If I were that lady, I would have walked out after 5 minutes. Total BS. The reason I ended up here was because in a time pinch, needed to get my nails done and unfortunately this place was close to where I live. It's the first and LAST time I'll be giving them my cash- next time I'll let my dog give me my mani/pedi, I'm sure I'll be much more satisfied with the results. Took the second star off because it's been less than 24 hours and my gel manicure has chipped in two places. Very nice, but rushed through my service. My nails didn't come out very great, and the hand massage lasted all of 30 seconds (the pampering is the only reason I ever get my nails done). They weren't busy either. The workspace was also really dusty and sticky. One pro was the price. Don't think I'll be back. :( read more

I had this very nice lady put the acrylic nails on and then this guy Tom came over and shaped them and finished them and they are so perfect . This was my first time getting almond shape and I love them so much!! Definitely recommend them !! Spent 2 hours here getting a simple matte red gel manicure. They look absolutely awful. I told the girl doing my nails that I did not like them and that I didn't think they looked matte, just oily. She said once she wiped them that it would turn matte. They didn't. They just look oily. I asked her to fix two nails that were bubbling up but she saw them bubbling up and chose to not say anything. I think their supplies are old as hell. Also, there was a bug on my towel and she just said " it's ok it dead" like no Lady, it's moving. It was by far the worst experience and will never return. Had I not stood up and walked out after the police arrived, I would have been able to press assault charges against my nail tech today. Nails came out terribly, I asked for a color change. I was told I would be charged an extra 10 dollars for layer of a different color painted on top of the color originally painted. The additional layer looks terrible. I said I was happy with the pedicure but I wanted a solution for the manicure. I was told that I needed to pay or they would file the manicure off. when I asked her a file, they brought out a strongly gritted electric file. I asked for a hand file. She began hand filing aggressively. I asked to speak with a manager. Other workers came out and someone locked the front door. I called the police and told them I had been locked into the business and police began to come. Dispatch asked me if I could walk out and I attempted to and my nail tech pushed me. When police came, I asked if I could step outside and I was told yes. Police took both of our stories. In the end, I was told that because I had already stepped outside the doors of the business without paying, I had defrauded an inn keeper. So, I could pay the fee or press charges for assault but then the tech would press charges for defrauding an inn keeper and we both would be going to jail. I'm not sure if it was racism or what that caused me to receive such terrible customer service. This experience was traumatic and I hope no one else ever goes through this. read more

Tried this place again after 7mths and it's worst I regret trying again, my nails are not even and my toes got cut uneven also. Couldn't get what I wanted because they wanted to cut my nails to add a tip for length was mad about that. I'm over it could have went somewhere else for what I paid disappointed and to top it off when I went to pay with my card it kept declining it and I had more than enough money so I went to the atm across the parking lot they acted as if I was going to run off because their machine wasn't working. So I called in for an appointment for a pedicure for my birthday I said 10-20 mins at the most because I was coming for the other side of town I get here and the young lady sits me at the first station water was already ran and it was cold as ever I asked if I could get some warm water after sitting for 15mins I also asked how much longer would I have to wait because it was a gang of people ( come to find out a bunch of ladies getting stuff done for a wedding ) and if the wait would have been super long I would have tried my luck somewhere else well she said 20mins I've never had any serious problems with this place besides today so 30mins goes past I asked the older guy how much longer he gone say another 30mins like no that's a whole hour I'd be waiting I could have went somewhere else that was the whole point in me calling he said you said 10mins I said I said 10-20mins at the most mind you I got there 15mins after I called I checked my call log well no where else was available as I checked while waiting so now I'm stuck sitting here hoping they'd get it together soon the guy they had do my feet started with the acrylic on my toes one toe nail broke half way so I needed a toenail on both to be even he started to apply the acrylic when he does both toes I tell him on my left toe I want them to be even not just on top that's the whole point in getting both toes done he gets the scalping paper for my left toe because he added the tip on my right one as he begins to file I said I want them to look the same the right doesn't look like the left so he tried to say he has to file it I'm like filing is just going to make it shorter they are not even so he went to ignore me and kept tryna file I said no go get help so the older lady comes and start tryna fix it I'm telling her what I'm wanting she wanna argue w me saying my toenail shape isn't the same that's why it's not even I said the shape of my toe has nothing to do with them being the same length that's the point in getting the toenails added she told me well you don't like you can do at home yourself I said if I could do it myself I wouldn't be here paying my money no you gone do it how I want I'm paying so why is there a problem she said well if you don't like it then you can go somewhere else I said no I been here over a hour y'all gone finish if I'm paying my money mind you they have already put the acrylic on my toes and have yet to even start a pedicure now she's mad she asked did he do the pedicure I said no he started with the acrylic my feet haven't been in the water she grabbed the purple scrubber and put the stuff on there and went to scrub my feet I'm like that hurts how are you starting my pedicure like that what part he didn't do anything you don't get so she pushes my foot for me to put it in the water because I'm like that hurts my feet isn't even moist enough for that hard ruff thing she's mad at this point tried to scrub my other foot I said what part your hurting me don't you get so my feet goes in the water she didn't even ask me what kinda pedicure I wanted after that she tried to start massaging my legs I said I didn't want that and that was the end of my pedicure I got no service for my feet I still need a pedicure and my feet were horrible for my birthday I wanted gel couldn't even do that because I already still had to pay for a service I wasn't happy with at all and they swear nothing was wrong with the job i also wanted my nails the same color as me feet I didn't even get anything done but two fake toenails and a raggedy polish job I sat and watched them take pride in others pedicure I didn't even get the color stuff in my water lol it was a horrible experience the older guy told me I'd have to pay just half for my pedicure and the wife still charged me 25 I just gave it up because I didn't have time for any bs that would have came with me not paying or paying half very disappointed because I liked this place but after that I wouldn't recommend here oh yea the right toe is lumpy and I feel the acrylic with my second toe it's horrible read more

I don't mind people speaking in their own language. But when they were conversing and pointing toward my scars. That's where I had an issue. Sure my scars are visible and may cause people to be curious, maybe ask me instead of making me feel as if you're speaking badly of me in your own language. The lady doing my pedicure skipped a lot of steps. When I tried informing her about it, she couldn't understand what I was saying. This happened 4 different times. I finally gave up trying to communicate with her or her translator that didn't seem to understand me either. If it was just the language barrier I wouldn't have left this review. But the fact that I got charged full price for an incomplete pedicure, that's a no no in my book. read more

3.5 stars- they are usually good to accommodate for walkins for nails on weekdays. However it's a crap shoot as to who does your nails- sometimes it's great, most of time adequate, and a couple times very poor. I stuck with them as they are close to work. read more

I've been coming here off & on for a couple years. The nail techs are very friendly and want to do exactly what you ask for. I came in for a fill, new color, and shortening of my nails ($30 total). They do a way better job than most places I've gone to in town, this time though, I feel my person was rushing the nail process, and wish she would have done a second coat of base color, but I still love them. I used to go here all the time and never had any issues...until I switched from acrylic to dip nails. First of all, let me say that this place does a great job on both acrylic and dip nails and my nails have always kept up great and lasted a really long time. I actually really liked this place and had been happily coming routinely for about a year, which is why I am so frustrated and writing this review. My issue started when I came in for a fresh dip and was told to sit with someone who was obviously new. I had never seen her working at the shop before and was immediately not confident at all with what she was doing to my nails. Normally, I would never have an issue with a new nail tech; I'm not picky about who does my nails as long as they get done. BUT this person made me feel so uncomfortable with her skills. It literally took her a full hour just to soak my nails and **attempt** to drill the polish off. From the very start of this appointment I knew things were wrong when she wasn't soaking the cotton even remotely enough for it to do anything. This might sound really bitter and nit-picky, but I feel like this is just one of the most simple tasks to doing nails and should be obvious to the nail tech that they aren't putting enough polish remover on the cotton when the polish isn't coming off. Then, when it came time to using the drill she was extremely timid and uncertain. I was speechless and had no idea what to do other than to just sit there and watch as other clients who had started after I did with the other nail techs leave before my polish was even off. After one hour of this, someone else (never got her name, but she's great) finally took over and finished the job, making the entire process a little over 2 hours. My next 3 visits would unfortunately be the last. I was already pretty peeved from my previous visit when I was stuck with someone I felt had no business working on a client, so it didn't make things any better. I'd never had a nail tech start my nails, tell me to move to a vacant seat so someone else could take my seat, start doing that person's nails, then get passed over to a different tech like 20 minutes later whenever the next tech became available. Like, what? You were doing my nails to start with! Why are you switching me out for someone else and making me wait after starting my nails? This happened 3 times, and I noticed that each time, I was being switched out for someone who was doing acrylic. This shouldn't matter, though. If you're doing my nails, then do the job and get them done. I shouldn't have to wait around like that and be switched out and passed around, especially when you've already started the job and stopped all because someone wanting an acrylic fill walked in during the MIDDLE of doing my nails. I am super bummed this happened because I actually really liked this place and always used to recommend it to everyone. However, after my experience I just feel like they were unprofessional and that for me, it happened too many times to just be forgotten. I hope that this review finds their attention and they can use this to improve in the future. read more
