11/10 hands down my favorite nail salon in Chico! I almost never have to wait, even when I walk in, which is already a win. But I have to shout out my new nail tech, QT! I'm seriously obsessed. He's super friendly, easy to talk to, and absolutely nailed (pun intended) my set. I've been getting the same style and color for over a year, so I'm not easy to impress... but QT completely wowed me. The attention to detail? Unreal. Went in today around 1 o'clock got my toes done by a woman named Tammy. She cut my toenails completely uneven painted all over my skin then proceeded to file my skin aggressively after painting my skin just overall did a terrible service. Was completely checked out, looking around paying attention to everybody, except for the person that was paying for her service never offered me water checked in on how I was doing or anything. I got my nails and toes done here before a two week vacation, I've only been here for a day and my thumb nail snapped clean in half. While my toes were being done the guy working on my feet ripped off a lifting nail which caised my nicely grown out natural nail to chip, then instead on using a tip to properly fix my nail he just build up acrylic, that part of my toe nail also chipped day one so now I've payed 100$ for my nails and toes for vacation to only last 2 days! I frequently go in for an eyebrow and upper lip waxing, I recently went in and was made aware after getting waxed that the price was increase from 15$ in total to 25$ in total. (lip going from 5$ to 10$ and eyebrow 10$ to 15$). as a college student I was going here and supporting the business because of how good the price is, always tipping. but after learning about this insane price increase I will no longer be going back. the service is good but the price is not. read more

I had a gel manicure done my first visit which I loved and came out great. I came back for my second visit and did not do gel, which I understand lasts much longer, but to have the polish cone off so much within 24 hours is upsetting. I'm going to need to go get another manicure 48 hours later because of the poor quality of this past one. You'd think I'd had this done two weeks ago, not two days ago. Great service, friendly and good prices. The only thing they need to do is clean up their polish boxes and polish bottles. They are just horrible. Drips and Polish all over the polish bottles and boxes. Someone needs to make sure each bottle and the boxes are clean and ready to use. The bottles and boxes look very sloppy and not clean. The prices are decent. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. Pretty effect for $70 + tip. I gave $10, $5 for each service. It's busy but there are lots of technicians. It's not my first choice in Chico but I had gift certificates. The gel nails are on week 3 and holding up so the quality is there. My only complaint, and it's not a big deal is it's dusty. They always do such a wonderful job on my nails. However I did not pay 175$ for a full set and a pedicure. I paid 150$ (including my 25$ tip) so they charged me an extra 25$ on my card days later. I will only be paying in cash now. I suggest you do the same. Otherwise great place. read more

First off I would like to say the guy named Kevin did a horrible job at my nails, he didn't wear a mask and completely burped in my face. Both of my charms came off as soon as I got home so I had them about 3 hours. Also got a pedicure and they also came out uneven and crooked and the guy doing my toes kept talking about my boyfriend ( who was not there with me) and made me very uncomfortable also I noticed he was a older gentleman and his hands were very shaky so no wonder my toes came out crooked and uneven. I have never in my life paid for such horrible service and I promise you I will never be going back here. The only up side of the whole thing was the girl at the front desk was very sweet. read more

My experience was terrible. The girl doing my pedicure FaceTimed somebody and showed them my toes and was obviously talking bad about me right in front of me. I asked for acrylic on my big toe (which has been no problem anywhere else) and they refused to do it. I asked the lady when I first sat down for my pedicure and then she pretended to forget and I asked again and she said no it wouldn't look good. I will not be returning. read more

Well I tried this place again! Absolutely horrible! I wanted a full set and they sat me down right away then a woman can in after me and sat her next to me and started on her instead and put me on a chair for a pedi. Brought my girls to get pedicures. I had to sit while he rushed thru my daughters pedi and then he rushed thru me. They rushed right through our pedicure. He didn't push back cuticles, didn't file my nails left them with rough edges, did not scrub bottom of feet. It was horrible. But I did notice he tended to blonde hair blue eyed clients with time. I have been to the salon multiple times, with mixed results. I have had my nails done by Jason at least 10 times and he has never remembered me once. Oh well. The time before last, every single nail was crooked. He told me that my bones are crooked and there's no way he can straighten out my bones. Funny, my bones weren't crooked last time. He literally argued with me about it so I just let it go and went around for a few weeks with crooked nails. I was going on vacation and I decided to give him another try for a fill on my nails. I don't think he could have done a worse job if he tried. Aside from the fact that he was so distracted and in such a huge rush that my nails came out looking like a mess, he was going so fast that he was burning me with the files hitting my nail cuticles with the electric tools and generally made it extremely painful and unpleasant. I kept reflexively pulling my hand or jumping and he was giving me dirty looks and getting really annoyed with me. I finally told him that he's really hurting me and he said that I should just tell him if I'm hurt. I laughed and said I am trying to tell you it hurts, you're going too fast. He said he wasn't going too fast and generally acted as if this was my problem. To add insult to injury, he commented about my last nail fill and asked me who did them. I told him he did them and he repeatedly argued he did not. They were so bad he did not even recognize his own work. I think I know who has done my nails. He tried to get me out of the chair halfway through and into a pedicure seat, instead of finishing my fingernails first. I had already told Jason I didn't know if I was going to have time for a pedicure and I need my nails done first. It only got worse from there. One fingernail was left tacky and had to be re-polished before I left. I had to ask 3 times before they believed me. I am certain if Jason could see my nails now, he would deny having done them. After a week, they look like hell. All of the edges are jagged. I could have done better myself and I don't know how. Once complete, I was so unhappy, my fingers throbbing in pain from being dremmeled to death, I thought I might get to relax in the pedicure chair. Alas that was not to be. The general atmosphere of assembly line Mani/pedis makes for workers who are rushing to a result rather than creating an experience. The experience of the pedicure was very similar even though it was somebody else doing it. Being jammed with the corner of somebody's very sharp ungloved fingernail into my cuticle to the point that I bled, is not only painful and uncomfortable, it's a health hazard. One toenail was not fully hardened, and I told the young man that it didn't seem dry he told me it was dry shoved my shoe onto it and then when I got home the top was rubbed off of the polish and I went on my vacation with one toenail dull and ugly. The shop is close to my house, I have had some good experiences here but this took the cake. The crowning glory was being overcharged at the end for this terrible experience. I was practically crying when I left so I didn't notice that instead of giving me the $25 pedicure I requested, I was charged $40 for a pedicure. Overall a really bad experience and I am super disappointed and won't be going back. Also, the salon should take note they need a really good cleaning in the salon. It looks filthy. read more

such horrible service. The first time I went here, they were being super homophobic towards my wife and I which resulted in us being extremely uncomfortable the entire time. Months, maybe close to a year later, we decided to give them another chance and it literally got worse. I went in for a pedicure and not only did they rush, they got super upset when I wanted mistakes corrected as they couldn't get my French tips to match (they were all uneven, some thick and some thin). The lady was extremely impatient and started yelling at me in the middle of the shop saying "what do you want!!" When I was clearly just asking that my French tips matched. Workers here are so rude. I got a 3D flower put on my nail by the lovely "Kevin" that is talked about in all these reviews :). If this was in my home town of Long Beach I would be here every 2 weeks!! I went here for the first time and was SO impressed by the nails I got. The acrylic nail tech in the back right hand corner is amazing. Today I went in for a fill and they had me with a different nail tech lady. It was horrible. Anything I suggested she told me no and that my only options were dark colors. I picked a dark red and it looked dark red in the bottle and on the swatch. But on it's a cherry tomato red color. Shape is off and paint job is horrible. When I asked her to add sparkles on top she told me no and then did it. They kept asking me if it was okay and I was too upset to say anything. I know it's my fault for not speaking up but I have a really bad anxiety disorder and getting my nails done is a treat for me. I went out to my car in the parking lot and just cried. Please be careful who you go to. This shop has some really quality people and some really awful people. I don't know if I'll go back here again. Super disappointed. read more

I'm so tired of there being zero good nail salons in this town. I will never go here again. I called ahead to make sure there was time to do a full set. There was. I arrived and the place is full. To their credit, they did get me in right away. They got me in with a trainee. Or he must have been given "skilled" mail application. First, we could barely communicate. He was a young man who spoke quickly and unclearly. I spent more time asking him wtf he was saying more than anyone should need. He was a nice kid. He clearly belonged outside hanging out with friends or in any other line of work than nails. His palms were sweaty, he was trembly, he held my fingers in a death vice/twist while he worked. His idea of a nice nail is a massive blob of acrylic mashed into a hump and coated with streaky polish. I'm not joking. This was $55 dollars. All these salons are full of crap when they say a set is $35. If you should dare want the latest and industry standard gel nail polish, well that's another $15 for being so hoity-toity. It's just a game. Listen, I'd pay for a good set of nails. I paid for these dumb chunks of acrylic. Why does it seem like no matter how clear I am about wanting thin nails with a nice shape I get hosed? Lastly, they have around 40 colors. All gel. No art. No imagination. And all this for an extra $15. Just no. Bite your nails off if you have to, but don't waste time here. read more

Pretty disappointed. I will be going home to fix my nails. Got dip done and they are thick and none of the nail lengths are even. You can see through the dip powder to my base nail. On top of that she didn't clean up my nails at the end (she left powder all around my cuticle). She wiped some cuticle oil on and didn't rub it in just said "your done".
