Have had Maggiano's at a different location in Tysons. Food - 4/5 cant complain there food fresh and most items made from scratch so flavors totally there. Ordered the eggplant parm, mushroom ravioli and baked ziti. They definitely cater to vegetarians. Wish the food had more spices and overall spicy but thats just me. Also secretly they had there seasonal celebration sundae but no luck. Service- 3/5 it was during rush hour so they were swamped and so was our server. So I give you that cant do anything about that. Service pleasant and helpful no complaints. Atmosphere- 4/5 super busy location tons of seating. Still has a good feel for what I would expect from an Italian restaurant. Price- 5/5. They have a great deal order one and take another entree to go. Way worth it !! Overall wish wait times werent so crazy but thats typical for this area. Delightfully surprised! You never know when a restaurant is attached to a mall but this place was lovely! We sat at the bar and ordered wine and dinner - great size pours for the wine - let's start with that! The warm bread and olive oil were nice touch - bartender was friendly and helpful and I had amazing chicken parmigiana while my coworker enjoyed the calamari and bruschetta. I haven't been to a Maggiano's in a while! I think I stopped coming here when I looked at the calories on the menu! Lol luckily it was a couple of years ago and I already forgot! Came on a busy weekend evening and was asked for my name and phone number- You don't have to wait at the restaurant for your table, you can walk around the mall and they will text you when it's ready, Yayy! We only had to wait about 25 min so not bad at all. We got seated and our server promptly showed up, he was superb through out the night! Customer service is always important to me so that made our experience a million times better. For food we decided to go all in and get the "Marco's meal for two", you get 1 to choose appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, one dessert and 2 extra pastas to go! All for $43.95 what a steal! (By the way we ate pasta for a week, it was sooo much). For the appetizer we had the Calamari, which surprisingly was way better than I expected. It came with a side of delicious marinara sauce. For the pastas we ordered the Alfredo (good, but not amazing), lasagna (amazing!!!!!), to go: 4 cheese ravioli (favorite of the 4), spaghetti with meatball (yes, just one!). It was sooooo much pasta, we couldn't even finish our dine in portions. But were excited for all he leftovers- no cooking for a week lol! For dessert we had the Tiramisu, it was really good but I was way too full by then, so honestly I didn't even enjoyed it as much! I would recommend getting it to go. Great customer service is always awesome. However the food at Maggiano's though prepare well...meaning properly cooked food it lacks flavor. I am not at all impressed. And for the record it's not just this Maggiano's it's all of them. They are consistent. Great service average food that doesn't taste better than home cooked food. If you're someone that doesn't cook well and completely understand flavoring of certain items or do you care about it you would likely love it. As for me I am not impressed and have spent my last dollar here unless it's a stop in for a quick drink I'll pass everyday of the week. read more

I ordered angel hair pasta and meatballs and got spaghetti and pepper balls. I don't know why there was nothing but pepper in the meatballs because the entire balls were black and brittle. Our waitress seemed annoyed we were there so long, and brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert so I had to ask her for the menu... I ordered a glass of Lambrusco, the chicken piccata and the lemon cookies. The chicken piccata was really good, but the pasta that came with it was dry and flavorless. The lemon cookies were amazing! I went to Maggiano's yesterday with my parents to introduce them to my favorite appetizers from here: stuffed mushrooms and zucchini frites. I looooove these appetizers, and so did my parents! The waiter was really pushing for us to try the lobster mac 'n' cheese and any of the other items I the chef's special menu that was only available for one more month. I did not appreciate the pressure, and it was pissing off my parents because: - they felt the waiter was trying to take advantage of the fact that they were new to the restaurant, didn't know what to order, and weren't familiar with how much each menu item cost - was purposely withholding how much those special dishes cost - they felt overwhelmed with him pushing the chef's special without giving them sufficient time to consider the whole menu. My advice to the restaurant, if you're reading, is not rush the patrons when they seem confused, are new to the restaurant, or don't know what to order. We felt rushed. Other than the service, the food--as always--was delicious! The chef's special calamari dish was packed with flavors and a dash of spiciness and was on top of some lettuce. My dad said it should've been called calamari salad. It came in a large dish and was enough for three. The stuffed mushrooms (we got 8 pcs. I think) and zucchini frites were both enough for three as well. The mushrooms were so juicy and the zucchini were crispy! Yum yum yum! The spaghetti was good, but I wasn't too impressed since it's spaghetti lol. You can make that at home with little effort. The veggie pasta was good too; my parents enjoyed those pastas more than I did. Lastly, the free bread that comes with olive oil... I looove when they mix the olive oil with Parmesan, pepper, and salt! They're the ones (not this location though) that taught me that was a thing! Haha. Thank you, Maggianos! We had a birthday celebration at Springfield Maggianos last evening. We had a bag of sanitizer wipes, and hand sanitizer. Questioned how tables, seating cleaned? They were onboard and unoffended by our concerns. Maggianos was PREPARED! They had sanitized the menus (cleanest menus I've touched in years), left no commonly shared items on the table(s), and brought olive oil, parmesan, bread, etc., out as required for the meal. They spaced patrons appropriately (6 ft or more) throughout. Our young lady server was magnificent. We were also prepared to sanitize our space. The hostess sat a mother and three small children next to us. One of the kids was having issues. The mother was doing her best. We could barely hear each other talk. Came here for a company lunch last week. This location is a few minutes away from my work. Friendly staff and the restaurant is neat. We got stuffed mushrooms and calamari for appetizers. Calamari was okay. I thought it was a little overcooked and bland. I didn't try the stuffed mushrooms but my coworkers said they were good. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and it was a huge serving. I should've gotten the lighter portion but oh well. Pasta was good, nothing special about it really. I'm giving this location 4 stars because of our server (sorry, forgot his name...I think it was Ricardo? Not sure). He was on top of everything and prompt. Two of my coworkers have allergies and he made sure he got the orders right. Creme Brulee for dessert....YES!!!! I loved loved loved it. I almost finished the whole thing. I am definitely a fan of Maggiano's but not so much this location. My family and I went here for my cousin's graduation dinner and a reservation and our family style menu was ordered in advance. Our server was nice and friendly but our service was super slow even though the restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there. We would constantly ask for water refills and they would be forgotten every time. There were times were our server and other servers/staff were nowhere to be found to be able to ask someone else for water. Some of the food also came out cold, particularly in the middle, which was disappointing. I will still prefer the Tyson's Galleria location over this one. read more

I've heard about this place and finally got the chance to come in for lunch since we were already in the mall, which is where it's located. We had a large group of 10 and it was only a few minutes before they had us seated. They were serving brunch as well as $2 mimosas that day. The mimosas did not disappoint. We were browsing the menu and noticed there really wasn't that much of a selection like we expected. After everyone was ready to place their order, our waiter pointed out there was another menu inside of the menu....which was a little annoying because we wanted to look over that to see if maybe there was something else we wanted (which happened with the majority of our table). I don't think it was the server's fault but rather the hostess' fault when she gave us the menus. Besides that, I ordered the rigatoni arrabbiata and the baked ziti as part of their "Today and Tomorrow" special (buy a pasta, take one home). I really enjoyed my visit to Maggiano's on Valentine's Day. Something about Italian food just screams romance to me. *Cue the beloved Lady and the Tramp spaghetti scene*. I was really craving a hearty, creamy, OG chicken Alfredo and that was exactly what I got. I was looking forward to the lasagna, unfortunately they were out... the server suggested the Taylor Street baked ziti with Italian sausage and it was great. I definitely would recommend both plates I got! Portions are a great size and while it's a tad pricey, the buy one get one to take home really hit the spot the next day. Slam dunk in my book!!! If you're a pasta fanatic and haven't tried Maggiano's what are you waiting for?! (Bread and oil before the meal as an appetizer didn't hurt either) Server was very attentive and helpful, even allowed me to sample a few white wines to decide which one went best with my Alfredo. Prices are decent, food is good, and portions are HUGE. I'd recommend never eating the whole thing in one sitting... box it up to go. I don't remember who our server was, but perhaps he was really busy, because whenever we talked to him, he always seemed to be looking in some other direction. Me and my friend was at the restaurant on 11/05/2022 for dinner. We had almost 1.25 hours before we catch our movie. We were seated promptly and greeted by a very smiley server (apparently), we mentioned to her that we have a crunch of a time and she made sure she will put in our order as fast as she can for faster service. My friend and I ordered two entrees - Rigatoni Arabica and Chicken Francese as seen in the picture attached as well as two cold drinks- diet and regular coke. We were then given breads and then our food those two entrees came out by the food runner in a reasonable amount of time. While we were eating we asked our server if she can bring our dessert- pumpkin cheesecake. It was brought to our table by the food runner again. While eating our cheesecake me and my friend handed over our credit cards to server for payment and asked for split of a check. She brought our receipt and the number seems odd with each of us charged $51.65, since it was the time of the movie we didn't pay too much attention offcourse out of trust of such a big name and also gave $10 tip each and left the restaurant. Same night when I got home I double checked the menu prices online and to my utmost surprise the bill seems 40 some dollars higher. Next morning I drove 33 miles and spoke with the manager. She went inside and then came out apologizing saying server made the mistake and she charged us Lasagna and Caesar salad with shrimps costing $42 extra. Manager explained server punched in someone else's food and said it was an honest mistake and then gave me $25 each gift cards and promises to refund our money, which wasn't done until yesterday (11/17), almost after three calls and 12 days. Im very disappointed with all this and questioned as to how come server punched in food on our table and food runner only brought the food out for what we ordered. How come kitchen didn't make that order and it didn't reach to our table if it was punched in for us in error???.. very very suspicious and on top of that server puts in 3 guests on our cheque despite the fact we were only two people. All I can say it was a serious fraud issue that this establishment is doing with its clients and perhaps server wanted more tip from us and knowing we were in a rush she could make us fool. I hope she is not working there anymore, and her name she said is "T" ( mentioned in the check pic attached), so please be careful and read your tabs carefully before paying. The waitress took 10 minutes to greet meet, 20 minutes for me to get a glass of water and 30minutes for my food. Although the manager was helpful, I think the waitress was new at her job. She was nice, but didn't have knowledge of the cocktails when I asked her what was in them. She also kept disappearing. The restaurant is in Galleria at Tyson's Corner, a boujee mall filled with boujee stores. We walked in right before 6pm on a Tuesday night. It wasn't busy at all however the host at the podium was on the phone and did not once acknowledge us. Another man who was obviously a part of the staff walked by and sat us after we stood there for a good 5 minutes. We were seated and given water, served three pieces of cold bread. The wait help took our order, he seemed nice enough and was also helpful when we couldn't find our seafood meal we came for. I ordered the tomato basil soup and the fettuccini del mare. My friend ordered a pasta plate and an appetizer. We got the soup and our meals but not the appetizer. We were almost done eating our meals when the wait help came and told us there was a miscommunication with him and the kitchen. To make it up he wanted to give my friend free dessert. Sure enough we wanted dessert. It took a while for us to get his attention again as a large group of wine connoisseurs day in our section. So the wait staff was preoccupied. After what took forever, we got our plates cleared and the dessert menu. I got the mini creme brûlée and butter cake. Both mediocre. The fresh strawberries were not yet fully ripe, and were sour + hard. I could've gotten something better somewhere else. Don't think I'd eat dessert here again. Had a birthday party with my Real Estate company and Maggianos was very accommodating for a large crowd of 30+ people. We ordered family style. Started with a salad and calamari which I highly recommend to start with. We then ordered a salmon, chicken Parmesan, and ziti pasta. Ended the night with cheesecake that melted in your mouth. We also were brought out tiramisu. Happy hour drinks are cheap. I had a Long Island and my coworker had a mojito for $6 each. Parking is located outside of the mall. Ordered here the other night. Food was packed beautifully, so I was excited. I ordered stuffed mushrooms and shrimp diavolo pasta. The pasta was 1000% gross and included about a quarter cup to half cup pasta and a pound and a half of completely RAW shrimp covered in luke warm sauce as if it had never even been heated. I was truly and completely disturbed. I put in my order on the later side and assuming that whoever was cooking was ready to close down the kitchen for the night and simply did not care. I would have preferred the restaurant decline the order than have me pay $30 for a dish that was 100% inedible. read more
