Original Review from 2/2/2026 (see updated response below): Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience due to poor communication and failure to follow through. We initially booked a ductwork mapping service that was quoted at $300. When the technician, Servando, came out, he noticed we had already replaced our furnace and, instead of performing the service we booked and which we relied on, told us the quote would jump to $1,400. No work was performed that day, despite us setting aside time and having a confirmed service. I called to complain, as the original quote was not contingent on keeping the old furnace. After escalating, Cesar the owner confirmed in writing that they would honor the original $300 mapping and said he would confirm a time shortly after. That was two weeks ago. Since then, I've followed up four times, and neither Cesar nor the technician (Vandos) has responded. No scheduling, no update, no courtesy reply -- just complete silence. They are also aware that I'm 7 months pregnant living in a house with inoperable heat which only makes this situation even more upsetting. At this point, the issue isn't just the pricing confusion, it's the lack of professionalism and follow-through. If you commit to honoring a quote and say you'll confirm timing, you need to actually do it -- or at minimum, communicate. I would not recommend based on reliability and communication alone. --------- UPDATE (posted 2/3/2026 following Made Simples response): I'm disappointed that instead of responding to my repeated messages and phone calls directly, you chose to communicate for the first time through a public review response. The last direct communication I received from your company was confirmation that you would honor the $300 duct mapping quote. After that, despite multiple follow-ups over two weeks, there was no response. If this is your standard for communication, it is neither professional nor acceptable. At no point in our written or verbal correspondence was the duct mapping described as "complimentary" or contingent upon us replacing the furnace with your company. That condition was never disclosed. The commitment to perform duct mapping for $300 was made independently, and our correspondence clearly reflects that. I would have attached the original quote here as well, but since this review was posted, the quote has been removed from the link, which raises additional questions. It is also inaccurate to suggest that the duct mapping suddenly became an issue because the furnace was installed by another contractor. The prior furnace was also installed by a different contractor, and that did not prevent you from offering or committing to duct mapping at that time. The only meaningful change was that once it became clear we would not be proceeding with a furnace replacement through your company, the willingness to honor the duct mapping commitment disappeared -- despite no prior disclosure that the two were linked. Regarding the allegation of a "targeted attempt to harm" your business: this is both unfounded and inappropriate. I have no idea what you are referring to, and making such accusations publicly -- without evidence or explanation -- is itself unprofessional and feels like an attempt to bully us and divert attention from the core issue. If there is something specific you believe occurred, I'm open to understanding it, but no such action was taken on our end. Throughout this process, we were respectful and straightforward. I even reached out ahead of posting this review to give a heads up and last chance to resolve this privately (see attached screenshot). What I would have expected was an apology for not honoring a stated commitment and for the lack of communication -- not a lengthy public response that misrepresents the facts and shifts blame. This situation became frustrating not because of pricing or contractor choice, but because a clear commitment was made, not honored, and never properly addressed.

So thankful for Edgar and Antonio for being able to schedule a service appointment on short notice! I appreciated that they reached out to me first via my Yelp Project. I talked to Edgar over the phone on Friday and had the appointment set up for the next Monday to repair/install a missing pilot generator in my Williams gas wall heater. Antonio arrived within the 2 hour window and quickly finished the task, making sure that the heater was working properly after lighting the pilot fire. Total lifesaver!

Michael Calvey thoroughly explained all of the options for our house's specific HVAC needs and was very patient with me as I asked a variety of questions. In fact, he made numerous trips to our house to answer the constant flow of questions my wife and I had. Bottom line, we built a solid working relationship with Michael and this gave us the comfort we needed to move forward with our HVAC investment. Calvey Heating and Air's estimate for a new heat pump and furnace at our house was very competitive. I was amazed at how much the pricing varied from vendor to vendor. Michael and the Calvey team made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Michael recommended an electrician who did a great job with our electric panel upgrade and the permit team did a fantastic job working with the city for all of the required paperwork. When it came time for the installation, the lead installer, Servando, and his team took pride in their work for the two day install. Similar to Michael, they were patient with me and answered all my questions during the install. Following the install, the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Team promptly arrived and conducted the necessary testing. Lastly, the permit team met with the city building inspector to successfully get the city sign off on all of the work. Throughout the entire process, Calvey Heating and Air did a great job choreographing and managing all aspects of the installation. I was constantly kept informed and Michael and his team visited our house daily during the installation to ensure all was moving forward properly. Lastly, a final walk-through was conducted by Johnny from Calvey ensuring that the install was 100% perfect. Once my wife and I have had time to work with and get familiar with our new system, Michael indicated he will have his team come by our house and balance out our vents if needed and answer any additional questions we may have. Overall, my wife and I cannot be happier with our decision to have Calvey Heating and Air install our new system. Their service was great from start to finish and there were no hiccups. I am a repeat customer. They had been taking excellent care of my 28+ year old Carrier Furnace…read more But, I wanted to explore replacing for more efficiency. Michael came out to my house and walked me through the pros and cons of a heat pump HVAC. For my home, the extra money made no sense. I really do not need central AC. We then talked about a new Carrier, high-efficency furnace. That was exactly what I needed. I also opted for the Ecobee Smart, wi-fi enabled thermostat. I am extremely happy with everything. The price was right. The installation was flawless. The post-intall QA walkghrough, by Johnny, went really well. ThenI worked with the folks that checked all the boxes post-intalleation. HERS test was easy with a pass.. Today, we passed the inspection, in under 5 minute. Every person I dealt with was amiable and professiona. The office staff always very nice. Michael Calvey was a joy to talk to. Thank you to Johnny, the project manager, and the folks from HOPSTER that facilitated the post-installation test and inspectioin. From start to finish I met with Michael on February 12th. The 16th the new furnace was intalled. February 17th Johnny did the QA walkthrough. February 18th HOPSTER did their pre-test and inspection walkthrough. The HERS test was done February 23rd. March 5th the city inspection was complete. I will continue to use Calvey for annual maintenance

The Consultation Process Justin, their sales representative, was efficient and thorough. He patiently walked me through the entire process and was (more than others) knowledgeable about the SJCE rebate and loan options--even providing valuable information I hadn't found on my own. After the initial visit, the Irbis team was very responsive to my follow-up questions and accommodated my request to switch the quoted Rheem model to a GE Geospring model. I also appreciated that they offer an optional 3-year labor warranty to pair with the equipment warranty, which provided extra peace of mind for a reasonable fee. The Installation The installation day turned out to be quite tricky. It actually took three different tanks to get the job done; the first two arrived with small dents on the body. It was a bit strange, as the packaging seemed intact, suggesting a manufacturing or handling issue. While this delayed the process significantly--stretching the job into the late evening--I was incredibly impressed by how the team handled it. There was absolutely zero hesitation to replace the damaged units, and no one tried to convince me to just accept a dented tank. Despite the long day, the installers remained patient, professional, and pleasant. They did a neat, tidy job and thoroughly walked me through the operation of the new system. The only minor critique I have is that I wish the team had tested the incoming water pressure prior to starting the installation. Final Verdict Overall, I am highly satisfied with the level of service and quality of work from Irbis. They aren't the cheapest option on the block, but they have value added process to handle the permitting and SJCE paperwork completely, making it a hands-free experience for the homeowner. My Fiance chose Irbis HVAC to replace his ducting in his home in Saratoga on May 18-23, 2026…read morebecause the company was offering a 20% off advertisement for replacement work when he signed up for the monthly service plan at $24.95. When he and I inquired about the advertisement with Irbis HVAC employee Natasha upon receiving the final bill, ....we were quite shocked for Natasha to tell us that this was not applicable to our order!. When asked specifically why it was not applicable based on replacement work stated in IRBIS advertisement, she Couldn't give us an answer other than. Your work order has already begun. Glen asked her again and told he wanted to speak with the manager. He emphasized and repeated to her that he had tenants jn this home when the work order began with Irbis. He also told Natasha that the technician never offered him the monthly service plan advertisement which included 20%. Natasha said she would speak with the manager and get back to us. We were again very disappointed when Natasha called us back to learn that the manager was not going to honor the 20% off for signing up for the monthly service plan. We both several own rental properties and were looking for an Hvac Company that we can have a long term relationship with based on mutual trust. This was disappointing and I want to let all consumers know about this experience so they can advocate for bate and switch, false advertisement tactics by Irbis. Jenny and Glen Tim, Thank you so much for your quick response to unfortunate experience we had with your misleading "bate and switch" ad. Business ethics are at the utmost importance behind this complaint. Therefore, I am bringing it to the consumers attention for two reasons. When you practice "bate and switch" you drive consumers away from your competitors, misleading the consumer that they WILL receive a 20% off discount for SERVICES. The result is, you inadvertently hurt the entire HVAC industry by driving business away from smaller HVAC companies that may already have a 20% to 30% lower price point originally. Lastly, it leaves the consumer feeling "deceived". Per your request, We have attached the text message ads from your Company IRBIS HVAC stating, "SAVE 20% OFF YOUR SERVICE BY JOINING OUR PLAN" that were sent via text to our cell phone over nine times between May 12th, 2026 until May 21st, 2026. When we tried to join your "Plan" and follow the text ad.....Natasha, at IRBIS, stated that the discount won't apply to us for the $22,000 job we hired you for. I'm sure you can understand our surprise and disappointment. Thank you again for your time and concerns regarding this serious issue. All the Best, Disappointed

DO NOT USE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME OR HOME…read more In the past, I've had good experiences with Fuse, but recently, they've gone downhill. I made an appointment for them to fix a dripping faucet, and the technician said I needed a new cartridge, and would order one. Two weeks later, they come back, and they ordered the wrong part. At this point, I told the technician where they could get the part (a local bathroom showroom), but they said it was not available there. The technician removed the cold water handle from my faucet during this visit, and told me it was okay to use the hot water, but when I did, water sprayed out of the faucet handle all over my bathroom. It continued to leak under my sink until I closed the main valve. I'm lucky I noticed this, or my home could have been damaged. I was told they could get the part in a few days, but they later contacted me (with no explanation or apology) saying it would be another two weeks. I explained I never would have started this repair if I had known it would span the thanksgiving holidays. They responded by offering to do a more expensive repair, replacing both faucets in my bathroom. I declined. After two weeks (four weeks total without a sink now) , the technician returned with the wrong cartridge. He said he could not fix my faucet and apologized very briefly. I asked the technician to just restore the sink to the way it had been before (dripping slightly from the faucet into the sink), and he said he had, but faucet handle actually dripped water beneath the sink. I called a different plumber, and they declined to do any work until I obtained the correct cartridge, which I did (from the store the Fuse plumber claimed would not have it), and they fixed my sink. This is what I expected Fuse to do, if they were not confident they could find the part.
