I've gotten food delivered from here many times, it's one of our favorite spots. Last night we ordered delivery, and after an hour we didn't receive it. My boyfriend called about the order, and was told it was ready for pickup. He told the person that he had ordered delivery, which we double checked on the receipt. The person on the phone insisted he had ordered pickup, said it would not be delivered, and hung up on him mid sentence. I called back and spoke to the same person, and he lied to me saying my boyfriend had said over the phone that he would come pick it up. I called him out and told him I was in the room for the whole conversation, and he never said that. The man over the phone was taken aback by being called out, and said he would deliver it. It never got delivered. It was the most puzzling and shocking customer service I have ever received, to the point where I created a yelp for the sole purpose of leaving a review. Dry and plain with no sauce. I wanted Buffalo sauce. I asked for Buffalo sauce. I expected Buffalo sauce. I paid for Buffalo sauce. No Buffalo sauce. Just plain, dry, anyone can microwave this crap chicken tenders that were no different from the dino shaped kiddie tenders from the grocery store freezer. The waffle fries were soggy and limp from being undercooked and thrown into a container to steam itself to wimpy averageness. We door dashed it so it wasn't at peak hotness/freshness but I was still very impressed with mad chicken! Mad fire sandwich lived up to its name. The mad fries were tasty. I loved the garlic Parmesan wings, did not skimp on the sauce. My husband said the sauce was very salty but like, so am I. We were ordering in a hurry and I got overwhelmed with all the sauce options, so I wish I would have branched out and tried more flavors. My only complaint is that the cheese curds were $8 and not worth that much in my opinion. The food here is so good! The chicken tenders were very juicy and well seasoned. The waffle fries were tasty too. Their fried are better than Chick-fil-a. I enjoyed the sweet chili sauce. Staff were very professional and welcoming. I do like the fact that they listed covid-19 precautions throughout the restaurant. The only thing I wasn't fond of was leaving the restaurant smelling like fried chicken. The fumes will be in your clothes and hair. I think they need to find a better way to circulate the chicken smell out but the place isn't very big. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

So happy this vacant building is full now!! The street art interior and fresh smells are definitely a welcome addition to the space. I tried Mad Chicken out when it first opened on the east side and liked the food, but felt it could've been a bit better for the price. Several months later, because of the COVID crisis, I decided to try it again for takeout and I'm really glad I did. The food was fine. Shake Shack has much better chicken, though. This place is walkable from my apartment, so I would love to be able to walk and grab a quick lunch if I need to, but I'm not sure I will for a few reasons. The stools are too tall for the countertops. I'm not really tall (under 6 feet) but I felt like I was eating a mile above the tabletop. Also, the music is a bit loud, and I don't really like my chicken with a side of homophobia (the lyrics of the music). It's why I avoid C*** F**-A. I liked a lot of the music, just a few songs were a turn off. Definitely don't bring kids here, though, unless you're okay with them listening to music that contains a lot of swearing. Aside from our order taking over an hour to get here thanks to Door Dash, the food was ice cold and looked as if it was cooked hours ago. The Mad Fire sandwich's cheese looked stale (you know the old cheese look) and so did the chicken tenders used. The tomato on the sandwich was without a doubt past expiration. The Mad Fries were cold and soggy. The chicken looked a little better. The macaroni was sub par. Cafeteria quality and I'm so glad I didn't get the Mad and Cheese bowl. I would have been irritated from the type of macaroni used. I ordered extra sauces which I paid for and never received. I haven't opened the box of Oreos yet but I'm honestly not expecting much.
