Staff is always friendly! One time when I went into this restaurant, the guy who sees me a lot said, what are you using the ranch for? I laughed. Decent wings, slow service. I thought 30 minutes for an order of 30wings was too long today. But the wings are pretty good and better than some alternatives nearby. And they aren't usually this slow. Every once in a while they will forget to check their online orders and not have it started when you arrive to pick up. Then you have to wait some 15 minutes while they scramble to get it ready, but they will throw in some extra fries as an apology. I love their Louisiana Rub and Mango Habanero. Only thing I'm going to say is how could a chicken place get a bad rating... Hmmmm... How about heat lamp chicken and cold chicken. This chicken tasted like it was sitting all day waiting for the sauce to be added to it. The most driest chicken I've had. It was't flavorful at all. The cheese top wasn't all the way on, so when we pulled our food out of the bag it had cheese all over everything. Very disappointing. We ordered $50. Worth of stuff, I could've went to the McDonalds next door and got hot food and spent less. I will not be ordering from here again. Do not order from this location! I placed my order online and never received my items. I had to call an hour after my meal was supposed to be delivered to ask about my order. After my order was finally set to be delivered, it never was dropped off. I've had to go back and forth with door dash and wingstop customer service to request a refund. Bring me a Kleenex for tears of joy and spice. My first Wingstop experience was nearly a decade ago and I was long overdue for another. I entered with remembrance of the spicy sweet hand-cut fries and Parmesan crusted pieces of white meat chicken. I was hopeful that the Wingstop that recently opened in Glendale would live up to this memory. I was not disappointed. Although this is a casual dining establishment (think Noodles, but with a focus on chicken), they cook everything to order. Once placed, the staff provides you with an approximate wait time, which is typically very accurate. They then prepare your food based on your order - no heat lamps and no microwaves. Your food arrives piping hot and very tasty. I enjoy the taste and the heat of habanero, so Atomic is always a good choice. The steam will burn your eyes, but I am up for the challenge. Cajun is a tad less spicy but has great flavor. Taking it easy and the heat makes you queasy? Garlic Parmesan will keep vampires at bay and delight you with its cheesy goodness. I am convinced you cannot go wrong with one of these three...or a little of both. I would also suggest bleu cheese and veggie sticks on the side. If you enjoy fries, Wingstop also has you covered. A little sweet and salty - cooked to order. They are a perfect compliment as well or a meal in their own. Wingstop offers individual meals with a choice of traditional wings, bonesless or boneless strips. Sandwiches (gliders) are also on the menu, if that is more your speed. You also can order Meals for Two (which I am convinced serve four) and catering. This would be an inexpensive way to feed a crowd at your next party or work event. If dining in, there are televisions to catch a game but they do not serve alcohol so if you prefer to enjoy with your favorite malted beverage, I suggest calling ahead for takeout or taking advantage of their online ordering option. They do have one of those crazy soda/pop/tonic machines where you can make a hundred flavors. I enjoy a Coke Zero with a splash of Cherry myself... The storefront is located in a strip mall so watch for the turn. It is nestled between the greek restaurant and the pharmacy with plenty of parking in the shared lot in front. If you like chicken, spice or both - you're in business. And it will keep them in business as well. Their fast and friendly staff is ready to take your order.....now. Another fun fact...don't panic if you cannot find a garbage can. It is Wingstop policy not to have them in the public areas of the establishment. It is currently 10:38pm. If you're gonna advertise that you are open till midnight make sure you're open till midnight. I placed an order at 10:15pm online and came to the store because it said my order was complete and I got to the store and they are closed. I can't cancel my order and it says they charged me already. Don't go here because they are just trying to steal from you. Update: Called to get a refund and was told I have to come in to prove I ordered something even though I told them my order number and amount I paid. Don't waste your time and money here. Obviously just trying to scam people by making it difficult to get a refund when they can't be straight forward about their hours. Second Update: Got my refund and was told that the store was supposed to be open till 11pm and for some reason they closed early. They lost out on a lot of money. Anyways I called to place a 10 wing combo because I received a certificate because last wingstop in Milwaukee I ate at they were very nasty and very rude and I left a survey letting them know, well I call and the lady answers the phone, you could barely hear her and she sounded like she had an attitude. I tell her I would like to place an order she hands off the phone to another RUDE lady! While telling her what sauces and stuff I want she tells me that the order is already ready!! The food is really good. Yes it is a chain but they cook everything fresh and will let you know the wait is 14 minutes even when they are dead because nothing is sitting under a warming lamp. Love the dry rub wings and great fresh cut fries. If you are reading Tomjulio's review, read over his history and you will realize he is a hardcore hipster who thinks its funny to swear and refer to people as "north shore nancies" if you follow his tastes you better git some thick rimmed black glasses and walk around telling people how you liked things before they were cool. Everything is freshly made here. They have boneless or bone in wings. The prices are a little high, but the quality is good. They offer a 6 piece, fries and a drink combo for about $9. Often they give me 7 wings. You can split up the sauces, 3 and 3. The fries have a unique seasoning on them, I think it is sugar. Sometimes the wings take a long time to get made though. First time at Wing Stop after living close to one in New Orleans for years. The place was very clean and the employees were all very friendly. They have the amazing Coke machine with 100+ combinations, which was great. However, the food wasn't incredible. They claim the fries aren't frozen, but they were not good. I could see that the cut potatoes were sitting in a metal tub above ice -- perhaps they just became too soggy? Worst fries I have had in a while and they were also heavily doused in salt. I got the chicken fingers and they were ok -- the meat looked good and the Honey BBQ sauce was good. Unassuming restaurant in Glendale, this place takes the cake for delicious. We got the 10 pack of chicken tenders + fries + 2 drinks + 2 dips for just over $16. More than we could eat. There must have been 2 whole large potatoes... Delicious sugared/salted fries made me keep going back for more. The tenders were in 2 flavors: we got the Atomic and the Parmesan Garlic. They aren't screwing around with flavorings, as there must have been 1-2 tsp of Parmesan cheese on each tender. Also, the Atomic actually inflicted pain. It is quite hot, and I can handle the heat. Very nice flavor on those. Perhaps they were based on habanero, because that flavor kept me going back for more. I really like habaneros. They had one of those fancy fountain machines that allows you to add 10 flavorings to pretty much any of the sodas. We didn't eat in, but took it back to the house. It held up in travel. We'll definitely be back for this. Additionally, the service was quite good. We were thanked for our service, and greeted with kindness when we arrived. P.S., contrary to popular belief that you need to go to a bar to get wings, you don't. Why does everything need to be associated with drinking alcohol or a bar. After getting incredibly slow, lackluster service at BW3 at Bayshore every time I go, the speedy, friendly service here was very appreciated. This was my first time at this location although I have been to the Miller Park store whenever I get in the area. I had the 8 wing combo with fries and a soda. I had the Louisiana Rub with the boneless wings and they were excellent. The fries were tasty too, made in the store. Service was fast, friendly and I think the price represented a good value. While wings are a staple at most bars, they're rarely executed well, and wannabe Food Network stars make them almost unrecognizable at neighborhood gastropubs (often at $1 or more per bone). Because wings are what Wingstop does, I expected them to nail it... and they did. If you're looking for something boneless, why bother? Check out the kids menu at any nearby chain. Chicken fingers aren't hard to find. I've ordered takeout from Wingstop twice now, and the result was consistently solid. The wings are just the right size. Not those 'roided out monsters some places serve that are never cooked enough. These are fried just right: crispy but not dry. Their buffalo sauce is the perfect combo of hot and tangy, and the wings are well coated and just wet enough. Lemon pepper is simple but hard to get right. Theirs is perfect. The blue cheese dressing actually has chunks of blue cheese in it, and the cups are just right for dipping. Even the celery is cold and fresh! Fries are often easy to pass up, but these are hand cut and nicely seasoned. Wingstop is my new go to for my wing cravings. read more
