WTH has Macys done! They've Been remodeling for a few months now and I walk in today and a quarter of the top floor is a damn discount dime store with crap product in it that hasn't sold anywhere else and they are clearancing out. They are admitting to having lesser quality products also made specifically for this venture. Heads up Macy's, If I wanted to buy target, Walmart, marshals, or TJ Maxx product I would go to those stores. I don't expect you to be selling bottom price garbage in your department store, And certainly not in your Rancho Cucamonga store. Add insult to injury, they are blasting rap music and everybody's standing around hooting and hollering. I am just so disappointed and disgusted. I just try to call Macy's twice to check stock on a size for a pair of The first time I was on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever came to the phone. The second time I was on hold 10 minutes before I hung up. I even tried multiple departments to no avail. I was trying to avoid driving to the store unnecessarily. I guess I will buy the item online from the manufacturer. This is one of the reasons brick and mortar businesses are closing. Oh well. read more

Terrible customer service. Tried to return something I received as a gift, and the cashier downstairs in the women's side didn't want to even scan my item to check if it came up on their computer system. I told the cashier I didn't have a receipt in the beginning and then she brings the manager that was standing off to the side and explains to her what I just told her and then i got a bad attitude from her as well as if I had merchandise that wasn't purchased. July 23 at 2pm I was walking with my newborn son past the shoes section and a worker at the last makeup counter on the left shocked the hell out of me : So I'm in Macy's and the lady at the counter asked if I was the mother of my son.... I replied yes. She looked super surprised.... So I asked why...she said I just don't know why he is so cute. I asked why she would say that and she replied he has good hair not nappy hair like most black babies and his features are so soft.....Not rough.....then she looks at me and asked if I was mixed cuz I don't look completely black...and asked if his dad was Hispanic Not exactly sure if they provide customer service training or sensitivity training to their employees, but there is definitely a need !! read more

I'm reviewing the shoe department based on my recent experience at this Macy's.. This is the Macy's location for Mens, Childrens and Home.. We went in the shoe department to look for some kicks for my hubby.. There were only two sales associates working the floor.. one was mainly on the register and one was going around getting shoes in the back.. Two associates was waaaay too few.. it took forever for someone to help out hubby and I.. That's not usually how it is in the Womens.. They have a great selection of shoes for men.. just not enough staff.. AND they didn't have hubby's size.. So shoe shopping on New Years Eve was a FAIL.. read more

Never use their credit card for any purchases. They will offer you discounts up front and then not send you a bill and finally send you one bill after interest has piled up to double the cost of the purchase or triple or quadruple. Bought a simple dress for my grandaughter which after discount was $15.00. I had not received any bills until 3 months later they informed me thru a collection agency that I owed $64.00! When I complained to management they reluctantly lowered it to $34.00 I will avoid their stores altogether after this experience. read more

I went into Macy's not to long ago to have my Make-Up done at the MAC counter, a make up artist by the name of Alex did my full face of make up, along with matching me to some amazing product. I had such a great experience, she was very friendly and had an awesome sense of humor, she made me feel very comfortable. Not only was the service good but she was very informative about the product and what works best with my type of skin. She also instructed me throughout the make over and I felt comfortable enough to try and replicate it at home myself! I will definitely be coming back here for all future events that require my make up done! read more

I went to do a curbside pick up for the online order I had done. I had to pick up on the men's side and NOBODY WAS ANSWERING THE PHONES. I had been calling and calling and nobody would answer the phones. Another person next to me was also waiting longer than I was to pick up her online order. We had to go inside to pick it up and there were other people who had the same problem. The lady who got our order said " oh I didn't hear it ring" the phone was turned on silent. This review in for Macy's online. In March I purchased a bottle of Clinque Facial soap among other things. When it arrived the lid was loose and leaked all over the box and other items. It leaked through the box as I could tell before even opening so I took pictures. I called Macy's but I got a recording that said there was no one to answer call (due to Covid) and to email them and then hung up. I emailed and waited and waited with no response. I emailed again with no response. I emailed a third time with no response. Now it is several months later and I finally am able to get through to live chat. Guess what! It's past the return date, so I am just out of luck! Just forget I called, just forget I emailed several times, just forget they packaged it incorrectly and ruined other items. They are terribly sorry but they cannot return it or make amends. This is from live chat and supervisor. So just forget Macy's I'm done! Watch out! They used a world wide pandemic to screw me. Worst Macy's staff I've ever experienced in my entire life. Not only were the workers unhelpful, but they LIED and are lazy. I asked to order a white dress online in my size and the woman said they discontinued the dress IN MY SIZE and it does not exist. When I went into my car I looked up the dress and found it was available in my size to be delivered in 2 days. I also saw a belt I was interested in buying on a mannequin and asked a women at the Mac department if she might know where I can find the accessories. She is looking down at her phone and doesn't even acknowledge me and says "I don't know anything about clothing I only know mac cosmetics". I understand she might not know but maybe at least call someone who does know??? There is no sense of customer service AT ALL in the store. The workers there are LAZY and so incredibly RUDE. Macy's needs to do a deep clean in that store on the workers whose one job is to SELL. I will never be returning to this store again and I hope the managers see this and so something about it because it's sad to see such a beautiful store lose service because of the workers. read more

This is in regards to the Macy's online order experience. I've had multiple terrible experiences. From an order never being received, and then after notifying Macy's, the order gets resent; however, the wrong size is received. Fast forward to present time, I take advantage of the 1 Day sale before Thanksgiving and order a Christmas tree. I receive an email 2-3 days later stating there's a delay in the order. I speak to customer service and I'm told the Christmas tree may not arrive till after Christmas, I was upset and venting after this point, that I ask to cancel the order, shortly after get hung up on. I call back and speak to a MANAGER who apologizes and finally offers a $20 gift card. Huge gesture! Ha! Come to find out, the order was never cancelled and here I am on the phone again questioning why??? read more

Worst curbside pickup customer service! I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant so I've been trying to minimize my outings and exposure to other people as much as possible. Therefor I placed an online order for needed baby items. Once my order was ready to be picked up curbside, I went to the store. I arrived at the store a few minutes before opening. Once the store was open I called the number provided and was placed on hold. I waited on hold for six minutes, when someone finally picked up, they said "hello" and hung up. So at that point I decided to go into the store and pick up my items. Once inside the store it didn't seem like they had an organized system in place. It appeared as though the two women at the Service Center were also supposed to be doing the curbside pick up. Complete lack of organization and preparation. At one point while waiting there was only one woman assisting customers. The other people who had also parked and waited in the designated curbside spots had to go in to get their items as well. read more

My review is for Mac cosmetics inside this Macy's branch. I had a return and was waiting at the cashier and there were no employee at the register. A woman came from behind and said we will be right with you , I said ok and she left then came back saying the same thing and took her purse and left. 5 minutes later another employee came with a customer and the customer said loudly excuse me and stood in front of me and the employee told me wait we will be right with you and she proceeded with check out for the lady , leaving me behind ! I recently had one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had at this particular Macy's! I was doing some shopping online and saw the PERFECT silver shawl/wrap for a dress I was planning on wearing to a wedding. The info online said that this Macy's had 4 in stock. When I went down to the store, I did not see the wrap on the floor. The lady at the counter had said she saw them the other day, but they must have gotten moved. I searched all over the store for them and could not find them. The lady at the customer service booth then called a manager named Miriam to see if she knew where they were. Miriam said that they might be downstairs where they had moved all the shawls and wraps a few days ago. I told her I already looked over there but they did not have the silver one I needed. Nonetheless, I still went back downstairs to see if I could find it. After searching for another 15 to 20 minutes and with the help of another sales associate, we could not find the silver wrap. I was devastated because the wedding was that evening! The sales associate said that it might somewhere in the storage room, but it would take her a good 20 minutes or more to try to find it. She did NOT seem happy about having to go look for it in the storage room. Suddenly, Miriam appeared out of nowhere with the beautiful, sparkling silver wrap in her hands. She had obviously spent all that time trying to locate it for me, and then on top of that she took the time to try to find me in the store! For all she knew, I could have left the store by then, but she still took the time to try to find me. I just couldn't believe it. I feel like she went above and beyond to make sure that I got that specific wrap and I am so VERY grateful to her! read more

Placed on hold another 10 minutes, no one ever responded. Tried one last time before driving out to RC from Upland and was hung up on again. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! She saw that I was waiting in line to buy and took me over to another kiosk to speed up the transaction. I went as always to Victoria Gardens Macy's woman plus section and got the best service from the floor manager, she was amazing!!! I got there just as they were putting a bunch of new dresses out, she was making sure all was going well and then turned her attention to me. I do not wear dresses and really didn't want to look!!!
