Anthropologie is always a fun store for me to wander through, especially when I'm in the mood to browse home and decor items. I love how curated everything feels, from the furniture to the smaller decorative pieces that somehow convince me I need them. One of the best parts is the generous sale section, which often has genuinely great deals on beautiful items if you're willing to dig a little. The store itself is large and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to browse without feeling cramped or rushed. My new favorite store! They have so many cute pieces and the customer service is the best. They started a room for me right away and added to it as I picked out more clothes so I didn't have to hold a bunch of stuff. Super helpful with questions too while I was trying stuff on. Sizes do run a bit big, I'm normally a medium and fit a XS or S here. Love that they're size inclusive and overall their clothes fit really nicely. Ended up getting a pink fringed dress and a fur coat for a holiday party. Also got a bralette and a shirt belt--they have so many cute accessories! Super cute purses too. My friend and I went to this location as I wanted to see a few items I saw online in person. We weren't greeted upon entering the store and after awhile I noticed I was being followed throughout the store by one of the associates, however she never offered help or assistance, instead just lurked in the shadows watching me. I found my friend and we left. I would have purchased quite a few things, but the judgement and following as if I was gonna stuff a dress in my clutch bag was a huge turn off. My friend said she was followed too. Hate to blame it on us being two black women but gotta call a thing a thing. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. read more

I got a gift from Anthropologie it was a spray perfume. The sprayer did not work so I took it back, un-used, for an even exchange. I was unable to exchange it as the other ones in stock also had broken sprayers. I told the clerk that I just wanted to exchange it then for something else but was told I could not do that since there was no receipt. But what was more annoying was her overall disposition. I had to ask for the manager who sort of told me the same thing but then after I explained for the second time what happened with the sprayer - was willing to do it. Can't understand how an up-leveled boutique has worse service and return policy than Walmart . This is why people shop on Amazon. read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...My partner and I were waiting in line to check out with our purchases with everyone else and as it was our turn to check out...with the cashier (young girl) in the white print dress....a lady with returns to the store cut in line in front of us and this cashier said nothing to her..like " I am sorry but you will need to get in line like everyone else".. My partner ask this young girl cashier if this was going to be a long return transaction as this woman was pulling various receipts out of her purse...the young cashier did not answer the question.... SO we placed all of what we going to purchase on the counter and said we will not be purchasing these items and walked out. Neither this cashier or the other cashier said or asked us anything about what was going on or apologized to us for this inconvenience. This place never fails to amaze me with the lock of interest in customer service! I wonder who hires these people??? I am always expecting the o really needed a fit for today.. Big event at the hollywood bowl. After obviously being ignored, I proceeded to approach the register. Just to get one of the associates, Kler walks away from me! That's totally normal. Meanwhile, the other gir on the phone is a bit more approachable. I asked for what u wanted and didn't know. Obviously , anything was and had to ask Kler for it. It was a two-piece set that Kler gave me the pants without the blouse, and she said we dont have it anymore!" Plot twist they had so.e right next to the pants I had to go get my self!!! I try so hard to buy it, but with this lock of customer service, I take my business else. I said Kler look I found it she sarcastically laughed and walked away!! I don't know who this responsibility falls on, but who ever is in charge of this needs to change the hours of operation on your voicemail and Yelp. They both say you close at 9 pm. I got there today 6 minutes after 8 pm and the store was closed. Now, the reason why this bothered me was because I drove out based on the store hours. And I don't live close. And I'm a mom to two toddlers. Getting out of the house alone is a huge project, I knocked on the window to get the employees attention just to tell them that they need to change the info on hours. Please fix this so that it doesn't happen o someone else. read more

Corporate obviously doesn't care about this location because the customer service standards are non existent. Is there even a manager who trains their employees here? Walked in today not realizing they were closing - maybe because all the employees ignored us and instead just closed the door behind us and turned off their music. When we realized they were closed my friend and I immediately went to the register to ask if they were indeed closed. I came in for a return and did it but the transaction was incredibly awkward as the sales associate said nothing the entire time. They were obviously angry at us for coming at closing - but it would have been fine if they had just told us and we would have left immediately. I know it's a weird time to be working in retail but obviously the employees at this store are angry at the company, their life or the world. Maybe they should be nicer to customers or else they could probably just close this location and no one would notice. Never coming back to this place again. You should drive to the Pasadena location where the employees are well trained on how to work in a retail store and probably actually like their job there. read more

Me and my girlfriend walked in today to look for a gift for her mom when we noticed the employees began to eye us suspiciously and follow us. We were frequent shoppers, but won't be after today, they seemed to stereotype us because they never act like this when we go with her mom who is white. We are both Mexican and all of a sudden we received horrible treatment. They followed us and pretended to size clothing, which we knew they were faking because we both work retail. Second, the security kept glaring at us while grabbing his ear piece and it made us so uncomfortable and was a hurtful experience. Racist store with prices only for the upper class. read more

This is my favorite Anthropologie store. It's probably not the biggest store, but I believe that the layout is the most thoughtfully laid out Anthropologie. I just love the energy in this store, and they have the customer service to match. The girls and guys working here are always so friendly. This store has a great selection of home furnishings/ decor, and the candles are to die for. In fact, this store is the only reason why I come to Victoria Gardens. I also enjoy how it's nestled on a not so busy street in the mall, so the foot traffic in the store is never too busy, so it never feels like you have to shop around someone else which I love! read more

I like this store a lot, even though they're pretty pricey, but it's possible to grab some good things on sale. They have such unique, eclectic, earthy style & I love their clothing and accessories. In October, 2012, I bought this salmon-colored leathere hobo-style bag that I love...wish it had been on sale, but oh well! The salespeople may be a bit snooty sometimes. Update: today is Oct 9th 2018 and I only received partial order and they charged me $1800 and still have over $5000 unauthorized hold on my credit card! The dining set is only $2900! I placed an order from their web site on Sep 1, 2018 for amount of $2900, not to mention I haven't received the item as of today (Sep 28, 2018) they keep putting authorization hold on my credit card 5 times for total amount over $10,000, this is ridiculous and very irresponsible behavior! After second phone call with their Rep they are putting request to drop the charges, very bad shopping experience from this company! Not recommended! read more

Such quirky, adorable clothes. A little pricey for blouses and housewares but soooooooo worth it. Anthropologie is the kind of store I can browse for an hour ... just looking at all the cute little things they have to offer. One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! I came into the store today hoping to find a dress for my engagement photos this weekend. I am not a person who is particularly fashionable and I have a hard time finding clothes that flatter my body shape. I asked Viviana for a recommendation on a top to match a skirt and she asked me what the occasion was. As soon as I told her she started working with another employee, Ana to get me a bunch of dresses to try. I always love what I see in this store.. their clothes are really cute and they have home stuff too.. One of their cashiers told me they are sister company to Urban Outfitters.. it's be awhile since that happeend.. but I'm pretty sure that's what she said.. Big store, big sale section. I mean come on, the sale section is the first section I go to because Anthropologie is not the shop you shop at when you aren't working (which has been my summer status). They had a ton of good sale stuff but I only looked, and touched. The store is better organised than a lot of Anthros I've been to and they also seem to keep the floor well maintained. Clothes aren't falling off the hangers, books and bottles are all placed nicely, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I always come here or usually order online. My experience has been great. But today is totally different. Poor customer service. Arguing with the customer. Does not really want to accommodate me for my exchange. I was told system is down, not working for exchanges or returns but you can actually purchase. I'm so disappointed. I had to beg for her to try the exchange first since I'm too busy to come back just for my return. It's so frustrating when people are too lazy to help and automatically shuts you down. In the end that filipino lady with a black beret and silver earrings was able to make the exchange and to find out it was just taking a long time to process the exchange, so is the system really down?!! I don't think so, at least not mislead people to believe it otherwise. And this lady just kept talking and arguing with me, when I told her I just want to be done and be over this, and I have nothing more to address. It's so annoying when she continues to prove her point, kept talking, tries to overpower me, and she forgot that I'm the customer. I think this store is bigger than the one at the Americana in Glendale. I love the layout and their retail displays. It's like being transported to another time and place. There's a very poetic quality to this store. The ladies are helpful, but they don't follow you around. Their dressing rooms are spacious and equipped with several hooks for easily hanging clothes that you try on. I enjoy coming to this store although I only buy things that are on sales since I find their clothes outrageously expensive. I do respect the level of quality that their clothes are made of, hence, I understand why they cost so much. They have a big SALE sign on their door this month but I was disappointed to find only one small rack of clothing that was on sale. Most of the other stuff that were on sale were home goods and knick-knacks. If you know your size, you're better off catching items on sale on their website. Upon checkout I wasn't helped right away. Although there were several staff members around, it seemed like they were busy with other things like restocking. I hope they can checkout customers faster next time. read more

I love Anthro. Today I went in near closing time to get a last minute--but special--birthday gift. I found a typical Anthro dress: silk maxi for ~$99. I knew what would make it extra special is the presentation. Jessica went out of her way and did an amazing job!! Given how light and tiny the dress is, Jessica put tissue on the bottom of the box and wrapped it in the most delicate way!! This is why when in need of a special gift, I ALWAYS think Anthro!! The only thing that would make Anthro 5 stars is if they carried more XL and up to a size 14 given that's this is average American girl size. So when I can't find clothes in XL for a special gift I can always find great smelling candles :) read more

I would really like to see this location get shoes in the near future. Even if it meant a few at a time to try out. I love their shoes. I also love their home merchandise! Well, its covid pandemic time so i'm ordering little gifts online instead of in store. I ordered 2 of my friends in FL fall candles to be delivered. One of my friends got her candle 2 weeks after shipping. One friend (who lives 2 hours from the other friend) has yet to get hers, and their website shows no clue as to where that item is. I called "customer service" who I'm pretty sure isnt happy with her role as a customer service representative, and was told she had no idea where it was, but will put in a lost claim report and I'll hear back in a week to 10 days about my item. Oh, ok. No biggie. Nothing else? No "we're sorry we have the WORST shipping process ever?" In a day where you can buy pretty much anything on amazon, or at stores that literally ship a day or two after ordering, you think your process is gonna cut it? Its not. Its 2020, people expect to get gifts delivered BEFORE 3 weeks. While I love their items, they're overpriced to say the least, but they at least need to get them to the recipient within a week or so.... NOT 3 weeks. Will continue to shop at places that ship quickly, so I can count on my gifts arriving asap..... and with customer service that can actually help. (like zappos.... every company needs to take note from those people. Im not sure how they pull off what they do, but it seems like before you hang up the phone, your item is on your porch. Anthropologie, take notes from those who know how to do the business...... you're not going to make it much longer if you dont up your game (by a lot) And from the other reviews, your in-store situation needs to change as well. Maybe during pandemic time, you could do a little "how to take care of your customers" retraining? Maybe a "overhaul on shipping processes" would also be helpful. read more

this is a great store. i've shopped here a number of times and always have a wonderful experience. the store is very clean and well organized. the staff is so friendly. even if you're in just picking up a couple of bowls or clearance items the sales staff will still make sure you feel walk out of their store feeling as though you made an $800.00 purchase. i am always more than happy to patronize stores and companies in general that practice a level of customer service that is better than average. in the case of this store i'd say the customer service and staff are exceptional. read more

Anthroplogie is my all time favorite store and this store itself is amazing, beautiful, clean and lots of clothes/merchandise! Why the 3-stars then? Very poor customer service behind the cash registry when I first walked in the store to exchange couple of my merchandise. I ordered this online, but Anthro shipped it in multiple packing and I didn't want to pay 5x $5.95 and decided to exchange/return in the store instead. The manager was very grumpy, not at all friendly and gave me "condescending" looks. Was it my dress? or was it my curvy body type or that I looked like Mindy Kaling (whom I adore btw!) from my fav tv-show The Mindy Project??? I was like yes, I'm a 5.2" curvy Indian/Dutch girl and wearing a dress from Anthro in size 10p, maybe if you would eat a hamburger once awhile you be happy too (just like me, specially now that I'm thinking about that hamburger... Mmmm...). Focus Bho! Okay, of course I didn't say this up loud, I didn't want any problem with exchanging/returning my merchandise and I'm raised by parents to be nice to my elderly ;) No eye contact with me when she was handling my merchandise and she was just talking away to the other cashier about her plans for the upcoming weekend. Even at Target they have better customer service! I must say that the rest of the staff was awesome and super friendly, specially the guy and the girl who worked in the fitting room area. Very helpful, maybe they should make one of them the manager there, I'm sure the store won't be empty it was like last couple times! When I was checking out my new found clothes at the registry, guess who was going to help me again? Yes, the manager... Why oh why Buddha? She was ringing up my stuff till I asked her if she could order me a dress I liked in a size bigger, unfortunately their were sold out in the store and if it was possible for her to put in an order online for me. Bam, she was gone and came back with a different cashier, explained to her what was going on and handed everything to her... Thank you for that, because this girl was not only breathtaking beautiful, but oh so friendly! review for a phone inquiry that went so above and beyond that I really wish this particular store was the closest one to me. I spoke with the store manager Adriana (not sure sp is right) regarding a sold out item that I'm trying to hunt down desperately. She was so patient in helping me search for the item. When we did actually find one in her store, she advised me on the sizing since I lived so far away and was unsure that the M would fit. She was familiar with the item and shared her own height and weight in advising me that the size was probably way too large saving me a trip and disappointment. She then walked me through how I might be able to call customer service to do a nationwide search for the item (i know im crazy) it was just the most helpful customer service i've experienced anywhere for a LONG TIME.
