One of the best Macy's that I have been to. I guess it's plus when they have great sale going on.... Most of the things were 15%-40% off and they also had extra 30% discount called family and friends. I purchase few items with almost 60% off. This Macy's is one of the biggest I have been to with a lot choices. All the sales representatives were very friendly and helpful. I'm not a big Macy's fan but this location will be one of my favorite shopping destinations. Keep up the good work! read more

I had received a cologne and it was in fact damaged , I got home and it was leaking , I don't blame the macys team but that cologne was dropped some were and I hate that it had to be to get it and the store gave me a cold shoulder didn't even woo me out , note this happened from one moment to another , I had just left the store , and my receipt was in point , I payed almost 200 on a cologne , and didn't get a response really from the manager , she's bad at customer service smh read more

I love Pasadena and this particular Macy's. It's smaller than many I've been to, however, it has a certain charm that I'll attempt to describe. The architecture, specifically near the elevators is beautiful. The wood panels and glass are simply stunning. The store provides an intimate shopping experience with associates who are not only friendly but also helpful. Olivia, the customer associate, was wonderful. I love Macy's and do most of my shoppings on line. The problem is dishonesty with the delivery service used. $15 for expedited delivery (1-2) days took longer than regular (3-5) days delivery. This is not acceptable from Macy's! I haven't even received my items yet! read more

I stopped by the men's department at Macy's today to look for an outfit for an upcoming trip. Patrick, in the men's suit department, was the most gracious salesperson I've ever met. He saw me from a distance and made a few recommendations based on what I was trying on. I looked at several blazers and eventually decided on Patrick's first recommendation. The man knows his stuff. He proceeded to lead me in the right direction to complete the ensemble but not before asking my name and introducing me to himself and two other employees who were nearby. Shirt, pants and shoes, he made excellent suggestions. This was a no pressure sale and yet he guided me every step of the way. I love Macy's and do almost all of my shopping there. They have excellent quality products, their prices are extremely competitive, and they have amazing coupons! Macys's almost always has my sizes available in clothing and shoes and shipping is free for gold members. There is never a problem with returns and they are open long hours during the day! Recently I needed a formal length evening dress for my son's wedding and shopped all over Los Angeles before finding the perfect dress at Macy's, with beautiful evening shoes to match. read more

Macy's is not somewhere I shop. We went to this particular store to research mattresses as it has a large selection and it's very clean and well-presented. (Architecture fans, of course, must visit South Lake as it's such a Modernist gem, on the National Register of Historic Places). Mattress shopping is a unhappy chore most of the time. However you buy, online or in person, the results so often disappoint, regardless of time spent researching and trying, and money spent. I'm very glad to report that the experiences of shopping and buying at this Macy's have proven to be easy, pleasant, and produced a very happy outcome. I want to give a particular shoutout to mattress salesperson Tim Chong who listened, left us alone to explore, and then gave great feedback to us, making a mattress recommendation for a brand that was unfamiliar. We loved it when we tried it and, after a few weeks of sleep, we couldn't be happier - uninterrupted sleep and no more stiff back muscles on waking. Also Tim proved very helpful in quickly solving an issue and followed up to make sure we were happy with the purchase. Macy's white glove delivery service was excellent. We had two teams visit us and both were efficient, tidy, and very courteous. I'm not going to make a specific mattress recommendation as every body is different and must choose according to their needs. I will say that we bought a firm innerspring from Aireloom, which we find gives excellent support and has enabled peaceful sleep. I've bought several mattresses from all the main manufacturers and have never found them comfortable for more than a couple of years, often less. The Aireloom is noticeably very well constructed and I'm hopeful it will remain this comfortable... Frequent rotation is key. As is a solid bed base to support the weight of the mattress evenly. A tip for back pain sufferers - go firm/extra firm to provide the support that will align the spine. If pressure points are a concern, or a more plush feeling is what you want, buy a mattress pad for added comfort. Based on too many disappointments, I would recommend everyone to buy tight top mattresses and avoid anything with a pillow or "Euro" top (whatever that is... I'm from Europe and I have no idea ‍). These built-in toppers are too prone to compressing and indenting, and compromise comfort when the body of the mattress might otherwise be fine. If you need it, buy a separate, easy to replace, mattress topper (under $100 from Amazon) of desired plushness instead. Sweet dreams. read more

Macy's was my store in favor until yesterday. I ordered some jewelry which I was supposed to pick up in Macy's Pasadena. On my Macy's app, it showed order was still "In Transit" for two weeks, I called 10 days after order and been notified that my item is still in transit and need to wait for email. I patiently waited for that email and got notification, that I been refunded. My order showed that the item was "Returned". The purchase history never said " Item is ready for pick-up" It always sated that item is in transit When I called to the store to ask them why my item was returned ( without informing me it was ready for pick-up), the lady just told " you did not pick it up, so we returned and refunded...". This store did not address the problem at all, their system made a mistake somewhere and no even apology. read more

Shop shop shop. One-day sale (yeah, I know - every day is a one-day-sale), but this was the last one before the holidays! Not too crowded at 7am, lots of great choices - with the door busters, saved hundreds of dollars. Well, spent hundreds too but hey, deals are deals. Staff at every register were surprisingly nice and patient. Forgot my coupons, but no worry - just asked nicely and every sale included the extra discount from the staff. Gonna get busy later! This Macy's has a problem. Couple of employees in the men's department have a major attitude problem. Recently witnessed a female clerk fighting with a customer in front of everyone! She was yelling, screaming and pointing her finger at him. She was pure ghetto. Also, another man didn't care for the response he got when he said hello to me and was rude. I'm not there to socialize, I'm shopping. Men's department has very few mirrors and very trendy clothing that tends to sit on the shelves a long time. Shop at Nordstrom's in Arcadia. Went to Macy's last week to buy a leather sectional and had great customer service with Lorraine (forgot her last name). She was very kind and super helpful, I just wasn't ready to buy the sectional yet. Went back with my cousin a few days later and she wasn't there so we got help from this other associate, forgot his name, but he's tall and has fluffy hair, and he was the absolute worst. I had to step away for a quick call but he was extremely rude to my cousin - so much so we walked straight out of Macys. My cousin asked if we should buy a "left" or "right" arm facing sectional and explained where the wall and TV would be and he said "Don't worry, I'll take care of it for you." She said, "Okay, but can you answer my question." And he just looked at her and walked away. RUDE. I was at store ( Macy's Pasadena ) for getting dress for myself , I grab 3 items and go to the register to being help by finding my size in the system this SUPER RUDE, really UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL woman HER NAME IS ROUZANA who works there at women's clothing/dress department asked what size I'm looking for when I said tow sizes ( 4 and 6 )because I would like to try both , she looked at my body and gave dirty look, laugh and said " size 4?! " same time made fun of me in front of my fiancé and with attitude turned back and said "Nope I don't have neither one " i got really hurt she hurt my feelings she didn't even bother herself to come and say sorry !!!... she is beyond the unprofessional, rude , no respect for customers I suggest do not purchase anything from her she doesn't deserve have any customer to get her points or whatever she is working for ! Located on South Lake, with free parking (seems like a rarity in Pasadena) in their own parking structure (no need for parking validation here, so shop as long as you like and visit other nearby businesses afterwards or before). I came by this location with my mom this afternoon because my mom's friend had told her that she was able to find cashmere sweaters in petite size. The only place my mom has found petite size cashmere sweaters in a Macy's store is at the South Coast Plaza (you would think Santa Anita would have it because the majority of the people shopping at that mall are Asian and Asian people tend to be on the petite side, but they don't have cashmere sweaters in petite in case you are wondering). So after parking in the parking structure on the 2nd floor, we took the elevator to the 1st floor (3rd floor is Trader Joe's.. also I wished there were stairs instead of only having the elevator as an option besides the ramp driving up and down this structure) and walked over to Macy's. Towards the back of the store (the side closer to TJ Maxx) is where the women's petite section is. My mom found a few floral shirts she wanted to try on and waited for an available changing room. There are two separate dressing rooms, with 2 individual rooms. They are not lock, so if you happen to find it lock, it just means someone is in it. After waiting quite a while for the changing room, my mom ended up walking around the corner and found the other changing room (which were empty) and tried on her shirts. She ended up finding one that she liked that fit her. And so when we walked over to the register, it took quite some time. Although there were 2 employees working the register, the wait was rather long, even though there was only 2 people ahead of us. Overall, this shopping experience was okay. But I do want to mention that it was hard to find an employee on the floor initially when my mom and I wanted to know if the changing rooms were locked and were waiting quite a while. I just wished there were more employees visible on the floor. If it were up to me, I would probably not come back to this location. But being that it is easier for my mom to find a good selection of fashionable petite size clothing, I will most likely be back here again in the future. Thank goodness there is free WiFi (but it was kind of on the slow side on this visit). read more

This is a Macy's my family (parents, younger sisters and me) love to go together, to shop around. Once we arrive, we will all slowly divide up into the different departments we want to check out. Before my sisters and I get our shop on, we would swing by the little coffee shop around the corner to get our caffeine fix, powered up and ready to go. This place is well organized, never crowed even on days that have huge sales. And best part of all, the items you want are always in stock, unlike the Arcadia's Macy's. I love how at time they would have things a lot of other stores don't carry. I would be able to find a nice fancy items before everyone else gets to. The best purchase I made at this store was my Steve Madden heels (Yes! I got more then 1 pair, probably like 4 pairs) and boots (3 pairs). Best price. EVER! It was pretty much 80% off on top of suggested retail price. And thats not including the coupons I can use and my Macy's card for additional saving. I love stacking deals/discounts/coupons, its like shopping in Heaven. I enjoy hanging out in the Home/Kitchen area, looking at all their cooking equipment makes me want to cook. Sadly, I don't know how. But with all these stuff around, it makes me want to learn. And when I do know how, I know where to go get get my Kitchen Aide. Parking is free, they share a lot of Borders (whose currently going out of business) and many locals stores around. I love this Macy's! read more

She was bothered at the fact the we were exchanging them for a new pair although she knew the earrings had never been worn nor taken out of the box.! This place has an old charm, certain parts of the building has it's original old architecture you can appreciate. If you walk around, you can see old original display pieces from Pasadena way back in the days, almost like a museum pieces. The employees are positive, friendly and offer excellent customer service. I have this habit of going in to nice department stores for the sole reason of using their restrooms. Not because I'm weird or anything (quirky, perhaps), but, because, as someone in a wheelchair, accessible bathrooms can be a little difficult to come by. One can usually trust the likes of a department store to have wheelchair-friendly facilities though! So, in the area, and with some time to kill before dinner, I came to check out this standalone Macy's. Restrooms aside, the place has dedicated garage parking, and nice, clean interiors, both of which are lacking up here in San Francisco! Win in my book. read more

I love this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was surprised when they said that they are pet friendly :) Linda whom works at the shoe department was of great help when I ordered a pair of Ralph Lauren boots online. This location department store didn't have my size so we had to place a special order. The first pair of boots I received where shipped from NY , I received one wide calf boot and the other was a normal calf. I didn't really notice the difference right away until a fried pointed it out. I went back to Linda and let her know what had appended. We called the NY store and asked to ship the other pair. When I received the boots I got 2 right leg boots. Went back to Linda for a third time called NY again and decided to purchase the 2 pairs of boots afterall. She called my cell phone personally (with my consent) to ask if I was pleased with the final purchase. The management and Linda were great. My mom loves going to this particular Macy's store. And I'm really confused as to why... Every time I go into the store I feel like people are watching me because I don't fit their idea of an ideal shopper. Older white or Persian upper middle class San Marino/ Pasadena type. Some of the people who work there are OK but others will just straight ignore you when you ask a simple question like "where is the bathroom". They won't even look at you if you're not made up to the nine's with a beautiful outfit and perfectly manicured nails. This is confusing to me because I don't always feel like dressing up before I go to Macy's and for them to treat their clients like that is really discouraging. Now down to the actual products they sell at this particular store. It is really geared towards an elderly woman. Myself as a woman in my 40s who is a professional I have never found anything to purchase for myself in terms of clothing at this particular store. I've purchased cookware and houseware like towels and pots and stuff like that but not clothing. Also their make up is very limited to once again the elderly woman. Their kids area doesn't really have much. They have a large discounted area but that's only because the stuff doesn't sell and so it goes out of season and then they have to mark it off. Parking has improved in the last 10 years but can still sometimes be difficult and also once again in reference to their staff they tend to be very slow at check out and that can lead to long waits in very short lines. read more

This is one of my favorite Macy's. They have the high end clothing and accessories here that I love. The shoe selection is phenomenal. Their jewelery area is great. I wish they would have a better handbags to choose from though. The remodeling wasn't "epic" or anything. It just made the place look more organized. It's three levels of pure fun shopping. It's both a blessing and a curse to work across the street from Macy's. I don't have a lot of time during lunch so frequently will give up food time for other local pursuits. One such pursuit is frequenting the Bloc shopping area which includes Macys, Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Radio Shack, and food areas downstairs. Macy's gets me most of the time. I don't get past the cosmetics and jewelry areas in the front of the store, but that's really all I'm interested in. Chanel for most cosmetics and perfume... MAC, foundation and eyeliner.... Estee Lauder or Clinique for free gift with purchase events.... But my biggest weakness is the 75% off clearance section in the jewelry department. Yesterday, I was super excited to find all of their display filled with Style Co, 2028, and Lucky Brand items on sale for $6-$10! They go quickly when these are brought out, so it helps to get there in the morning. By lunchtime, the good jewelry may be gone. Macy's, you are expensive, but I can't resist. read more

Ok so this Macy's has been a little uppity in the past for me but I think they are changing their ways. Today I went to Macy's and found lots good deals on higher end products in makeup, shoes, and in women's clothes. There was a one day only sale. I ended up buying a cool jacket for just $40 (regularly $100) and they were able to ship it to me for free. The guy who helped me, I think his name was Andrew was really kind (and patient) and placed the online order for me. Had a really good experience today and I think I will make it a point to shop at this location more often now. read more
