She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I've heard of Chico's, but this was my first time to actually do some shopping in this store. I was pleasantly surprised as we walked in and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. I told them that this was my first time here and the sales girl explained their sizing, sales and even was my personal shopper for awhile. They had an interesting selection of clothing at interesting prices, but their sale items were really great deals, especially if you have their coupons to use. We have lived in our neighborhood 36 years and will always continue to support our local stores . My wife loves Chico's And Has always been a loyal customer. .. but "no more". She bought a skirt never worn for the holidays and needed to return it for something else..but was refused being told she was beyond 60 days. My wife had this item for 64 days and thanksgiving holidays added to keeping it longer than usual. She wanted only a credit but Chico refused. Other stores will give credit in this situation for good will.. obviously this company doesn't care about good will & choses not to serve and help its Neighbors... very poor form for Chico's . We will not shop here ever again nor recommend La Canada Chico's to other folks in our community .its the old saying "good news travels fast but bad news travels faster. read more

I walked in the store and they were employees everywhere talking to each other. I was ignored. Nobody at the counter. I will never go in that store again. I did notice the management responded to one review which was good. Most of the reviews are terrible. I call that bad management. Believes the reviews, they are true!! read more

I agree with other reviews regarding the rude, and nasty attitude of the ladies. I order on line 90% of the time, but the few times I have gone in, I have regretted it. I'm sure they could find people with better customer service skills. Wow...stopped in on a Saturday morning after running errands. Four employees working and NOT ONE said hello to me. I began to gather items and was still ignored. Was it because I was dressed pretty casual in joggers, t shirt and cute vest? It felt like the movie Pretty Woman to be quite honest. I went ahead and bought what I wanted but I will never shop this location again. Big mistake as I live around the corner and have money to spend. I am a 15 year fan of Chico's beginning at the little shop in Pasadena, and then shopping at the La Canada store as soon as it opened. I have consistently had good or even excellent customer service. My favorite stylist there has helped me dress for almost every special event through the years. However there are new faces in the store and a different attitude about customer service. In mid February, I came in to exchange two gifts I received for my birthday. The sales person was rude and edgy, quoting the 60 day Return Policy to me before she had even looked at my receipts. My favorite senior staff were not working that day. This staff at this particular Chico's are terrific - I would not go anywhere else - their customer service excels every other store I have shopped including other Chico's and non Chico's. They are always friendly whether I am bringing back returns or just stopping by for a few minutes to check for new surprises. I placed an order for a pair of pants on 3/17. When I called to find out the status of my order, they told me that the store they contacted in Arizona did not have the pants and that nobody tried to find another store which has a stock. After two weeks, unless I called Chico's, I would not have found out that my order was left unattended. This is the worst customer service I ever had. I need the pair by this Saturday, 4/5, and nobody knows if I ever get the pair. This will be my last shopping/order at Chico's. read more

I am a big fan of Chico's La Canada! The staff at the store are always friendly and welcoming whether or not I am am looking at full price or sale merchandise. They understand I am not always there to buy but they still afford me all the attention I could want. They make suggestions but are not at all pushy, and they always offer to order if they don't have my size. Although I am not a fan of all their styles, I find plenty that I really love, and since I am a regular customer, my favorite sales person has gotten to know my taste and often shows me things that she knows I will love. All in all for the convenience of shopping at my own pace, in a boutique environment, with all the help I want or need, and parking readily available at no charge, Chico's cannot be beat in my book! Kudos to Margot and Judy and all the other salespeople who work there. My recommendation - Give Chico's La Canada a try! read more
