Many times, if my customers can't find what they are looking for in our jewelry department I recommend going toTemptation. I have referred hundreds of people to the store. One time my Nordstrom customer liked my pendant I got there so much that I had to walk her over to Temptation to show here exactly where I got it. SO the other day I wanted a Cat Keychain to give to my co-worker for her birthday to hold the keys we need to open jewelry cases at our store. I tried Temptation first and was ecstatic to find the cutest jewel covered cat keychain - only $18.00 -- so bought it for her. I went back to work, removed the price tag, put it in a box, and gave it to her right away. She loved it but when she took it out of the box, the tail of the cat fell off. I said "don't worry, I have the receipt, and there was another one there, exactly the same, we will go exchange it." So we went over there but were disappointed to see that the tail had fallen off the other cat too. So my friend was willing to just get something else as an exchange and found some cute hair clips instead. BUT THE SALESPERSON said we could not exchange because, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD THE RECEIPT, AND HAD PURCHASED IT ONLY 15 MINUTES AGO, we needed the tag to exchange. (The tag I had removed went in Nordstrom garbage and they had just collected, so .....) I said' "Here, this other IDENTICAL cat HAS A TAG ON IT," but she said, "NO, THAT WON'T WORK," and proceeded to try to superglue the tail on the cat for us. That wasn't working because there was not a solid surface to attach it to, but she said that this was our only option, so my friend said she would just keep the tailless cat, as she didn't want me to feel bad about getting her the present. I know these small stores can't compete with Nordstrom on their return policies, but fair policy in any retail is to exchange a defective product, especially with a receipt on an item purchased only 15minutes prior. The inefficiency should be criminal. ‍ it makes me not want to shop here. I will say they have a very unique self check out that is efficient, but they are not directing anyone to that. In fact, they have a separate line for people that are only purchasing and the cashier prioritize those customers while the return line moves at a painfully slow pace. If you plan on buying something here better hope you don't have to return it. I ordered several items online to be delivered to the Glendale Galleria store, which was the only pickup option offered in the app. I expected a smooth wardrobe refresh. Instead, it turned into a month-long headache. My order was split into three shipments: - one arrived the next day - the second arrived two weeks later - the third never arrived, even after almost a month. Already a bad experience. Since I don't live nearby, after a month I decided to at least pick up the items that had arrived. I picked up one package without issue, but when I asked about the second -- which the app clearly showed as available -- a staff member told me it had been sent back because they "called me and I didn't answer." I never received a call from Zara. Why say that? I asked to cancel the missing order in person since I was standing right there. I was told they can't cancel orders in store and that I had to call a customer service number. Why would I need to call a number in New York when there's a staff member right in front of me? I called anyway. No one answered. When I went back to the store, the manager offered poor excuses -- explaining East Coast hours -- even though Zara customer service is supposed to operate until 7:30 PM EST. I needed help, not a lecture about time zones. No resolution was offered. The experience got worse when I tried to check out in the men's department. Two customers ahead of me had already been waiting over 20 minutes, with no team member present in the department. When the manager finally appeared, instead of helping, she asked, "Why are you standing here?" The customer replied that they were trying to check out. The manager said, "Don't you see nobody's here? You should check out in the women's department." When the customer pointed out there was no sign indicating that, the manager responded, "We're not allowed to put up signs." That's unacceptable. Between the broken online fulfillment, misinformation, lack of accountability, and dismissive in-store management, this was one of the worst retail experiences I've had. Goodbye, Zara. It's been a long run -- but you've lost me.

The lady who pierced my ears (don't recall her name) was very thorough and walked me through the whole process step by step. (I'm fifteen and am TERRIFIED of needles so I prefer to know every single detail about what's going on.)
