The young woman working the counter was very nice and explained that it was her first day, so she understandably didn't know the answer when I asked about the price of an item. We waited for her manager to come out and assist. When he finally did, there was no greeting or acknowledgment of the wait. Instead, he immediately looked directly at me and curtly told me, "The line starts over there," even though I was already standing near the line sign and wasn't trying to cut anyone. After he helped the customer ahead of me, I asked him how much the poppers were. He immediately told me that because I had referred to them as "poppers," he could no longer sell them to me. If that's a store policy or legal requirement, fine--I have no problem following the rules. What bothered me was his attitude. There was no polite explanation, no "sorry, unfortunately we're not allowed to sell them when they're referred to that way," and no attempt whatsoever to provide decent customer service. He was abrupt and dismissive from the moment he walked up. Ironically, the brand-new employee provided a much warmer and more professional experience than the manager did. I actually felt bad for her, especially after watching another customer make an inappropriate crude joke to her after she had already told him she didn't want to hear it. Policies are policies. There's no reason to be rude while enforcing them. The entire interaction with the manager was unnecessarily unpleasant, and I won't be returning to this location.

So I decided to try a different shop and found Tres Jolie. Rose's approach felt very focused on comfort and support. She ended up finding me four great bras. I was looking for everyday options that work well under t-shirts and tighter tops, plus a couple delicate pieces that felt special, while maintaining my style. We went through lots of options and sizes and I never felt rushed. The bras I left with were all slightly different depending on the brand and style (2x 36C, 1x 34C, and 1x 36B), which really showed how much she understands fit. It's not just about the numbers on a tag. Did I spend more on bras than I usually do? Sure! But Rose made sure it felt completely worth it. Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back.
