I wanted to share our recent experience at The Paper Rabbit, particularly if you're considering visiting. If you're comfortable spending $170.00 for two plastic tumblers that you could easily find at a 99 cent store, then this place might meet your expectations. My daughter and her cousin decided to visit Paper Rabbit after discovering that Color Me Mine was closed. Drawn in by the store's charming appearance and positive reviews, they decided to give it a try. After they completed their project of painting two plastic tumblers, my daughter was shocked to be handed a bill for $170. As a college student, this amount was far beyond her budget. What truly upsets me is that the employee assisting them did not disclose the cost of the tumblers upfront. This lack of transparency is very concerning. I called The Paper Rabbit this morning and spoke to Laura, hoping for some sort of discount or resolution, but was told there was nothing she could do. We are deeply disappointed by this experience and the ridiculous high charges and unfortunately we will have to give a one star rating. read more

Amazing staff , the girls that do the art work are so talented ! I went into the store picked out my items for the party and they brought everything to my house ! very upsetting. I took a project in two days ago gave it to the girl she promised me it would be done after 1 o'clock today Wednesday. I went at 1:40 PM today to the Paper Rabbit. There's a sign on the door that says we won't be open until 4 PM. I told the girl when I gave her the project I had to have it no later than 2 o'clock today as it was for a party. This adorable store has been around since I was a little kid and I remember it being on Honolulu at that time. Fast forward to my mid 30s and this place loved over to Oceanview Blvd and is still just as cute as it once was. A friend of mine has gotten my daughter something from this very store each year for her birthday and I totally remembered to give this place a visit for a little girlfriend of my daughters for her birthday. I believe the owner was there at opening last Wednesday morning and she was so helpful and nice. I decided to get a purple glitter butterfly clip box, which was about $16 if I'm remembering correctly. They have signs posted everywhere with price of the item plus price for decorating. I didn't quite understand that it was $16 for the box plus $16 for the decorating and name. If you want a special font or glitter that's definitely extra. This place is on the expensive end, but I get it that these people have to take time to decorate accordingly and to make things extra cute. The gal that helped me was very generous and honored the internet pricing since that is what I had originally seen before I walked in, and she helped me decide how to keep the cost down. In any case, I was so happy with the outcome of this cute box and I can't wait to hear about what this little one is going to put in it! Birthdays are special, so I'll definitely be back for more gifts for my daughters special friends. They also do birthday parties and font style classes. I'm considering taking a brush font class myself. Parking is metered on the street and there is a large public lot across the street up on Florencita. Service- I called to place an order over the phone and they were super helpful! I believe I spoke to Laura/Lara? She was so nice! She even texted me pictures of more designs they had just created in-store and that have yet to be displayed online. The final product came out exactly as I wanted! Price- I believe the price is super reasonable. Especially because not only are you paying for the item, but as well as the design and the customization. Plus, their work is absolutely amazing!! I am giving this place another chance since i really like all the clipboards I made for myself and for gifts and the girls working there do a pretty damn good job and are very artistic, the only thing I don't like is how they charge $40/hr but they give me different prices every time i go for the same exact thing. My Reconciliation is to keep the receipt and take it to show them the price you were charged before so you don't get over charge if its the same item. Who has two thumbs and used to let her mom pay her allowance in stickers? This girl! I sure was a simple kid. A trip to Paper Rabbit and $1 worth of stickers kept me happy for hours. Don't ask me how. Or why. Wish I could sustain on stickers now-a-days.... When you enter Paper Rabbit (whether it be through the front - street side - or the back - parking lot side), there is a wall of stickers to one side of the store. That's right a WALL of stickers on rolls. You can pull out and tear off as many sheets as you want. They also sell tons of scrapbook paper and embellishments. In addition, they offer blank plastic things that you can buy and decorate or pay the local teens that they hire to decorate for you. These items range anywhere from clipboards to pencil cases to mini-trash cans to earring holders; essentially, they have all sorts of cute stuff that little girls love. This place is getting 2 stars solely based on the fact that the people who work here are rude. I went in for the first time about a year ago on a busy Saturday. I thought the place was so cute and wanted to buy some things but couldn't get a single person to help me. This is the Best little stationary store i have ever found or have ever been too! i have literally went to this store all the years my daughters were growing up in junior and high school because this store has it ALL when it comes to every kind of paper supply. They carry SO many stickers, cards, gifts, paper and bulk supplies at a discount and they will engrave things and gifts that you buy from them which is really great. I bought my daughters both pencil and color box cases and the owner Danielle had one of her sales girl's engrave them both and they do an amazing job. Paper Rabbit also carries beautiful Christmas supplies and ornaments that are so unique and different that i bought to decorate my home which i never found in any retail store.
