    Mobile unit house birthday!
    Nikki M.

I frequent Paper Rabbit often and just recently decided to give them a try at hosting my daughters birthday party at our residence. It was such a treat!! Amazing customer service ! Amazing staff , the girls that do the art work are so talented ! I went into the store picked out my items for the party and they brought everything to my house ! Friendly and flexible ...even though they had to rush to get to another even they gave us a few minutes to finish up our projects . They adhered to Covid protocols ...everything was sanitized for kid use . They allowed the little ones to take pictures with their awesome pink Jeep ! I recently followed up and went to the store for some additional gifts for which they offer really cute gift wrapping . All the items in the store are useful for schooler .

What an amazing little place this is! Their customer service is impeccable. I have used them a few times in the past and have always had a wonderful experience. They also have really cute stuff for sale. The artists there are all so talented and creative. This past Saturday I was in dire need of some artwork to be painted on a prop we built for my daughter's birthday which was on Sunday. Super-super last minute the owner made it happen. I'm so grateful and appreciative. Thank you! I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

Adorable butterfly clip glitter box decorated with unicorn design

This adorable store has been around since I was a little kid and I remember it being on Honolulu at that time. Fast forward to my mid 30s and this place loved over to Oceanview Blvd and is still just as cute as it once was. A friend of mine has gotten my daughter something from this very store each year for her birthday and I totally remembered to give this place a visit for a little girlfriend of my daughters for her birthday. I believe the owner was there at opening last Wednesday morning and she was so helpful and nice. I decided to get a purple glitter butterfly clip box, which was about $16 if I'm remembering correctly. They have signs posted everywhere with price of the item plus price for decorating. I didn't quite understand that it was $16 for the box plus $16 for the decorating and name. If you want a special font or glitter that's definitely extra. This place is on the expensive end, but I get it that these people have to take time to decorate accordingly and to make things extra cute. The gal that helped me was very generous and honored the internet pricing since that is what I had originally seen before I walked in, and she helped me decide how to keep the cost down. In any case, I was so happy with the outcome of this cute box and I can't wait to hear about what this little one is going to put in it! Birthdays are special, so I'll definitely be back for more gifts for my daughters special friends. They also do birthday parties and font style classes. I'm considering taking a brush font class myself. Parking is metered on the street and there is a large public lot across the street up on Florencita. I love this little store and all the shops along Honolulu and Ocean View.

I am giving this place another chance since i really like all the clipboards I made for myself and for gifts and the girls working there do a pretty damn good job and are very artistic, the only thing I don't like is how they charge $40/hr but they give me different prices every time i go for the same exact thing. My Reconciliation is to keep the receipt and take it to show them the price you were charged before so you don't get over charge if its the same item. If it wasn't for the price variation I would give them 5 stars.

Another employee noticed that we needed assistance and stepped in, which I appreciated. When it came time to complete the exchange and payment, Liana began explaining the process. As customers, we asked additional questions to better understand the store's policy. At that point, Liana became visibly frustrated, gave us an attitude, rolled her eyes, and stepped away. She then made comments to another customer in a way that made it obvious she was referring to us, assuming we would not understand or speak up. I want to be clear: treating any customer this way is unacceptable, especially an elderly customer. If an employee does not have the patience to explain policies or answer questions respectfully--without making customers feel uncomfortable or disrespected--then customer service may not be the right position for them. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but working in customer service requires patience, professionalism, and respect at all times. Answering questions and repeating explanations is part of the job. I hope management reviews this situation and addresses it appropriately with the employee involved. No customer should feel disrespected or talked about while standing at the counter. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

They have several employees and keep the customers very satisfied by helping them with a pleasant demeanor and smiles. Somewhat moderate size parking lot shared with other businesses. I was there few days ago, and had to buy a gift for one of my friends's birthday which is this coming week. I bought a beautiful vase for flowers and some Tupperware that she has been wanting for a while now. Park in the big lot on Flower- go through security to get cleared and parking is limited but in the back. The store is beautiful- not the bargain bin vibes you get at Company D in Anaheim. There is a ton of branded WED Imagineering merch and current in-park merch. However, if you are a CM who works in the parks, you're used to major deals at Company D or Maters. Here you'll get your regular employee discount A or B. If you are a guest/non-CM you will get no discount. There were a few items that were a really good discounted deal- there were also things from Aulani and Candy/Snacks. What was sort disappointing here was the guest service from staff. I had no idea how pricing was here, since Park CM's are used to pretty much everything being 50 percent off of the price tagged. When I asked if it was the same here I got a very annoyed eye roll and told that I ONLY get a discount IF I have a BLUE ID. Then a non-cm guest (who was clearly in the spectrum) asked a girl at the register about what types of jobs they have and how he could get one. Another annoyed, unfriendly answer from this girl... What really did it for me was when I asked where the restroom was. Again, the same girl was super annoyed and rattled off directions. I apologized and let her know this was my first visit here. She just repeated everything she previously said but much slower... it was patronizing and rude. I was on my way out to leave when I realized I forgot to purchase some lanyards. I went back and got in line- the same girl was OVERLY friendly and super nice to everyone else she helped... It was just a really sad, disappointing experience shopping here. I could see how this would be a great place to shop for imagineers that work here in Glendale or Burbank. However, this will be my guest and last trip.

It is a little gem, stuck between two other stores and the interior was decorated like an absolute fairyland of lights, glitter, and good taste. The reviewer who complained that they couldn't get a wheelchair through the tightly decorated aisle or a baby stroller needs to stop and think. The inventory here is very delicate and the chance of catching an item on a moving chair or stroller could be highly upsetting to both owner and customer. LA real estate is very expensive. Commercial spaces that are tighter may limit your ability to shop in the case of small boutiques. That's why online stores are so convenient for all of us. The disabled, elderly, immobile, and for parents of children under six who might inadvertently handle or break delicate items may need to use caution. This is not the owner's fault. This store has beautiful jewelry, but I needed Christmas hostess gifts this holiday. I walked out of there with tons of beautiful hand blown ornaments and holiday decor for the home. Every item was lovely and each presented beautifully upon lit glass shelves. I was so excited to find the items I did that I returned the next day and bought two more gifts. A gorgeous 4" ballerina ornament and a colorful hot air balloon ornament. Nothing you could find in Macy's or Ross or Neimann Marcus. Our New Year's hostess was elated when she opened her LaPerla bag stuffed with colorful tissue paper and the ornaments we brought to her party. The best surprise was the lovely gift wrapping. NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE. It's is generous of the owners and kind of them to share such a luxury. I'll be shopping at LaPerla again very soon and want to thank Soma and all her lovely helpers. Finally, I don't have to make a big drive to Salutations over in Pasadena. Why? I have luxury gifts right here in our neighborhood and we're supporting small businesses in our own community.
