I called in a few times to make/change our reservation and each staff member that answered the phone was super kind and willing to accommodate. We were warmly welcomed when we came in and got a detailed run through of how painting at Color Me Mine works. We underestimated how long our projects would take, but the staff informed us that we could take our items home and come back at a later time to finish the painting, at no extra charge. The pickup process was just as smooth as CMM called about a week later and let me know exactly when my items had to be picked up by. I do think it can get a little pricey, especially if you plan to bring a larger party. Overall, I really enjoyed getting to be creative and will say that even if you're not very artistically talented, you'll still be able to have some fun and walk out with custom piece of pottery!

When we arrived, they told me there is also a mandatory 18% gratuity. First, that is legally supposed to be disclosed clearly and in advance which it was not. The kids picked out their paint colors and then we found out that your location was out of (six) different colors that they wanted and they had to settle for less appealing options. The attendants were slow to replenish the paint and acted like it was an inconvenience, even though they were getting a "mandatory gratuity". They could have been nicer and more friendly. One of the colors they "replenished" was not the same color as we got at the beginning even though we asked for the same color # and the attendant even checked the # to make sure, and one of the kids ending up having two different colors of paint in one section of her ceramic piece that she was really disappointed about. When we asked the attendant how we could fix it, she said she didn't know and literally walked away mid-conversation to help someone else. She clearly did not care about our party once we sat down. My bill was almost $300 and the mandatory gratuity was $49.32 which was absolutely not worth the service we got. I doubt we would come back to your store since we never had this issue at Color Me Mine.

We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! There's a wall of color for you to write down on a smaller palette. I loved that they how the final product would look like depending on the number of coats you brush on your item. The service is attentive to refill your paint but not overbearing. The location is right by the plaza parking that only charges overnight or you can always do street parking as well. She was thoughtful and showed up early so we could use the kitchen and bar area to set up our appetizers and drinks. She set up the art stations while we drank and ate. Later she lead the class while also taking candid photos of our group. She took her time explaining the process and checking in to make sure we were all following along. Aja was fun and entertaining. She took various groups shots always paying great attention to detail. This was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely book again. We were the only party at the time, she laid out all the art to choose from. The space was clean and large enough to accommodate my 10 group and plenty of space to walk around. There were couches and kitchen area with a small refrigerator. Overall the space was a 10. Experience a 10. And instruction a 10.

They allow any amount of color paint to you need and offer a glossy or glitter sealant for your painted ceramic. Allow at least an hour of paint time for smaller pieces and more than that if your artists are more detailed oriented or indecisive. We easily spent 1.5 hrs painting once we selected our ceramic, which took at least 25 minutes itself. I would like to come back with my husband for a date night.

What was supposed to be a magical birthday celebration for my daughter at Disneyland got completely…read morerained out. Who came to the rescue? In The Kiln! We scrambled for a last-minute change of plans, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. They were incredibly accommodating: we hosted the birthday party right in the studio, decorated the space, brought our own food and non-alcoholic drinks, and set up a special designated area for the birthday girl and her friends. Laura and Bob were beyond patient and so helpful with the kids, guiding them every step of the way to make sure everything came out just right. The selection of pottery pieces is huge (overwhelming in the best way) and they even surprised us with a complimentary plate featuring all her friends' little fingerprints. What a thoughtful touch! It was such a fun, creative day, and everyone stayed nice and dry. Highly recommend for families, especially when plans go sideways.
