I came here with a group of 3 and we ordered 2 Passionfruit Sugarcane and 1 Dragonfruit Strawberry Sugarcane to drink, alongside that we got food. We got the Bun Dau Mam Tom, Banh Xeo, and Banh Beo. I must say I was not disappointed at all with any of the food choices. The Bun Dau Mam Tom was rich and flavorful with the shrimp paste, which complimented the meat and vegetables that came with it. Mia and More is a chain that sells freshly pressed sugarcane juice and this location is located inside of the Ranch 99 plaza. Parking is easy with a huge lot out front and they sell some Viet street food along their drink menu. They have a small seating area next to the prep area with low stools to really nail the street food vibe, but the AC wasn't super strong in the building. We pulled up during the heat wave a while back on a Saturday afternoon and honestly had a pretty decent line the whole time we were there, we ended up waiting 20+ minutes. If you've never had sugarcane juice before, it's actually not overly sweet in spite of it's name and somehow manages to be extremely refreshing. I'd be prepared to drop 10 bucks per drink, but they are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend all the fruity sugarcane juices, but my personal go-to is the kumquat version which adds just the right amount of sour kick to balance out the flavor. read more

Also had the sugarcane juice with calamansi and crystal boba. However, I asked for less ice and had to pay extra $1 for it, ridiculous! The bad.... We went to the restroom and discovered the faucet did not have water at all, even more, discovered after I put soap on my hands! I told the counter person about it and he did not know what to do nor was not even alarmed. That store should not open if they did not have water in the sink of the restroom. Wings were really dry and over cooked, not coated with anything just a plain fry, with fish sauce on it. I would pass on those, but definitely come back for the drinks. This is a Vietnamese restaurant, with a not so memorable name but certainly with a good concept. It's inside the Great Wall building that houses the Asian grocery Ranch 99 in Kent. It has a nice ordering counter with a nice, large menu board---complete with colorful pictures. Its emphasis is street food and their menu reflects that. It's a nice niche to fill, instead of the traditional pho places. Behind the counter is a nice room filled with low tables and chairs, which nicely mimics the restaurants one find in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh. The murals , green shutters and colorful hanging lamps add to the ambiance of being in Vietnam. I wish they'd clear the equipment they're storing on the side of the ordering counter. It is clearly an eyesore. We ordered the steamed Banh Beo. They were good. The Cha Giò (fried spring rolls) were great, as well. The Grilled Chicken Knees were super good, especially the sauce. But that item was clearly too expensive for serving a chicken part that is easily thrown out by a butcher! They don't give you enough. Maybe it should be put in appetizer section. Or maybe serve it needs to be served with some rice! The food is served on flat baskets and small attractive little chinaware---nice touch, very authentic looking . They also served sugar cane juice and other tropical smoothie drinks, with boba. Wished they' had the employees at least check on the diners and ask how we liked the food. Also, don't mind bussing our plates, but the station felt cramped. Again, I understand that it's not a full service restaurant, but a few extra service touches can enhance the experience for a good concept that they seem to have here. The other thing that bothered us is that there was no water coming out of the faucet in their one lone restroom. One would think that, that would be in any restaurant's checklist before they open. My sister and I ate at Mama Dough and needed something sweet to drink. She got the Dragonfruit Strawberry Sugar Cane and I got the Ube Matcha. The Dragonfruit one was tasty! It wasn't too sweet and was pretty refreshing. I enjoyed my Ube Matcha, it was creamy with the ube cold foam and the matcha was really good. The staff are friendly. The drinks came out fairly quickly (although it's a popular spot so I can't speak for when they are busier, usually there's a lot of people but we went mid day on a Thursday). You can also watch them juice the sugar cane right there (they go through A LOT of sugar cane). There aren't any tables or anything, just massage chairs in the common area, and a couple benches scattered around the mall. I always swing by when I'm in the area. First time stopping by here. I ordered passion fruit cane sugar tea. They make their own cane sugar. One person pushes the sugar cane through the machine and it squeezes the juice. The sugar cane rinds goes into a big container. Pretty fun to watch it happen. The sugar cane gets added to all the drinks. They even sell Vietnamese food here. The passion fruit cane drink was cold and refreshing. Especially on a hot summer day. It's naturally sweet. I haven't seen much of any sugar cane shop. This is something to try out. I haven't had their food so can't comment on that. But this has consistently been my favorite place to get sugarcane juice. I usually get the Kumquat Cane. Doesn't taste super sweet like other places where I can taste the added sugar and it ruins the natural flavor of sugarcane. About half the cup is full of ice if you get the standard order. And you can adjust the ice level with an additional $1-2. Usually drinks are made pretty quickly. Self service seating: bus your own tables and they have cleaning spray and towels to wipe down tables as well. read more

We ordered a few drinks: the egg cream coffee was strong but really well-balanced, the kumquat sugarcane juice was super refreshing, and the avocado smoothie was incredibly creamy. For food, everything hit. The wings were packed with flavor and came with six per order. The bánh khọt were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside but still tender, and they definitely don't skimp on the veggies. Located in the Great Wall Shopping Market, their specialty cold pressed sugarcane juice they do a variety of other cold drinks - teas with flavored foam, fruit smoothies, desserts like shaved ice, puddings and soy tofu, as well as a variety of Vietnamese street foods--apps, bowls and plates. The sugarcane juice is terrific here, you can get it plain or in different fruit flavors. Considering it's pressed from the cane directly it's very sweet and you can't adjust the sugar level like you can with milk tea. However it's so refreshing and slightly grassy which adds a subtle mellowness that feels different than drinking pure sugar dissolved in water. Prices for drinks, slushies and desserts range from $5.25-7.95, with most sugar cane drinks running about $6.75. NOTE: they charge $1 for half ice and $2 for no ice. Food items are between $7.50-14.95. I haven't tried the food here yet though can recommend the drinks. They take cash and card. They have a seating area adjacent to the ordering counter that seats about 25, though most customers order drinks to go. Pretty low quality ingredients. Spring roll lacked freshness and bean sprouts were extremely water-logged. Weird taste and smell in spring roll dipping sauce that smelled like durian (iykyk - but not a great add for spring rolls imo). Papaya salad ... lacking any of the usual ingredients, and what in the world type of sweetened soy sauce did they give me? Not the usual fish sauce and no lime. Doesn't taste anything like usual papaya salad. If you like only sweetened soy sauce with your grated papaya then go for it. It's one of my all-time favourite beverages, and Mia and More is usually consistent with their drinks. I'm not big on the flavoured Sugarcane drinks they have but the traditional Sugarcane Juice is always good. I just come here for their chả cốm (young green rice meat patties). This is a delicious savory dish that my whole family loves. Green rice flakes are mixed with ground pork and cooked till golden brown. The texture is slightly chewier than your average sausage. Served with fresh herbs, cucumber. They don't come with any carbohydrate, but I strongly recommend eating them with noodles (which you must procure yourself). Two portions easily serves my family of four adults, though we admittedly have less-than-standard-American appetites. Service is fast and polite. This place is inside the Great Wall Shopping Mall in Kent, and is one of the first dessert places you see assuming you enter through the main entrance of the building. Very colorful inside with a good amount of low-height seating if you plan on getting their desserts and/or Vietnamese street food to dine in. Desserts range from fruit smoothies, che, coconut-based drinks and sugarcane drinks. You can see some of the workers even shredding sugar cane stalks through a machine near the register! Desserts come out very quickly and the lines here get long-ish during peak hours, especially on weekends. The workers here are very friendly and patient. Instead of their more well-known sugar cane drinks (which I've had before), I got the durian combo dessert, which was listed under the che section on their menu. It had beans, jelly and coconut milk along with several big pieces of durian on top of the whole thing. Very nice blend of everything, and it wasn't too big either so it was easier to finish off. My mom got their three beans dessert which was just as good when I had a spoon of it. What was interesting was that you get charged extra if you want either half ice or no ice on your drinks. There is seating but note it is very low (might be difficult for some) but nicely decorated (though getting somewhat worn at this point). Counter service only--efficient but not so friendly. (The person prepping the food was very nice.) We got fresh spring rolls. They were fresh but they were supposed to have shrimp and pork. The "pork" was some kind of pork loaf stuff--sort of like bread, not bad but not pork. I enjoyed my brown sugar milk tea with very nice chewy boba but my friend did not enjoy her taro smoothie. After a couple sips, I felt like something about my digestive system is not right. When I got home, I throw up for 2 hours straight. I didn't eat anything along with it or before it.
