    I love NY sandwich
    Aaron C.

It's like a bodega and I'm fortunate enough to live close to it! They have great sandwiches and they're pretty good value as well! I've tried everything they have on the menu and I've loved them all! I would recommend the bull rider to anyone who hasn't had it yet. Sometimes, they make special sandwiches for a limited time such as the carribean roast pork. Make sure to snatch those limited time sandwiches up when they're available! They really are something else. The sandwiches get to you fairly fast but they can get busy so make sure to call ahead of time if you're in a rush. It's also got some groceries so you can pick up snacks, drinks or whatever you need along with a scrumptious sandwich. I'll admit there's not really much out nearby so it can be a bit of a ways away from everything else.

    Brown avocado I've scraped off

This place has always been great, but it looks like the B team has taken over. Brown avocado, bacon unevenly cooked, slathered in cheap mayo. Please bring back the A team

    Such a shame

We have been coming to lyons weekly for over 4 years, and as other comments are saying, the new team taking over for the long beloved previous owner has lost the plot. Twice in a row now the sandwiches portion sizes, presentation and quality have slipped dramatically. They don't even wrap the hot sandwiches in foil anymore to give them their signature delicate crunch and moisture. This used to be the best bodega in Seattle, serving a hangover curing bacon egg and cheese that would make Ocky's blush. Unfortunately, the music appears to be gone. Hoping the team can turn it around before it's too late, and the property is sold for scraps. Edited review from 3/5 to 2/5 after eating: tastes nothing like the OG. If nothing changes, this Seattle gem might disappear before the end of winter

Service was quick and my sandwich was delicious. A very good sized sandwich. I am stuffed after eating the entire thing.

A reliable place to get delicious sandwiches and expensive (but convenient!) groceries. I love Lyon's!

Order ahead because the line is painful but it's worth it for a great sandwich. The breakfast sandwich has an aioli that's unreal.

This is the best sandwich shop in the Seattle area by far, great service and friendly people. But the food is a hidden gem.

The outside was firm while the inside was gooey and soft and so fricking good. It also was still warm when I bought and ate it, which elevated the taste so much more. The peanuts and visible layers of peanut butter on the inside were perfection. My life has been changed. Please, if you're reading this, get this cookie. I'm a super picky eater and I love that there are a variety of options!! Some of my go to favourites are the mini turkey baguette sandwiches, caesar salads and blueberries from the salad bar, and mac n cheese! I love that I can get just about anything I'm craving here and it's fresh and local from from my favourite Ellenos yogurt, to organic strawberries. My boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with how firm the grapes are here. I personally shop at a different grocery store, but whenever I'm buying him grapes they have to be specifically bought from this store because this is where he likes them the best. I love coming to this met market and can't wait to come back soon! And not just because my boyfriend never lets us leave without buying me a delectably decadent The Cookie haha!

It's always stocked, super easy to navigate, and the staff are always ridiculously helpful and friendly. Thats the secret sauce. Even with they're busy, the employees never change their attitude. Always super kind, approachable, and make you feel welcome instead of like a burden. *Cough Qfc, Cough* There are two places that just do not know how to disappoint. Trader Joes and Costco. The new version has hunter green straps. I was hoping that this Capitol Hill location would have it... I didn't see a parking lot. I circled the block about three times and decided to park on the street around the corner. A clerk inside the store said they have a parking garage - enter from 17th ... UHG! I'll look next time. Since we don't have Trader Joe's in Hawaii, I like to bring snacks home, but I focused this time on those canvas bags and even got some mini canvas bags and the olive green insulated totes! I also looked at the greeting cards, fresh flowers, and new items. Thanks for the convenient restroom and friendly employees! We were able to find Joey, the mascot, and received stickers and lollipops as our reward! This was a fun shopping experience!
