We tried a number of drinks and everything was well balanced and executed perfectly - pro tip...I can't remember the name, but get the blue drink - you'll thank me. The wine list has a fantastic selection (by the glass) so there are lots of options and thank the baby Jesus it's not CrapaNapa's as far as the eye can see. The menu has a little of everything, ranging from light to decadent. When the Salmon Ikura showed up, I saw the citrus fruit garnish and was preparing myself for an overly acid-heavy dish. I couldn't have been more wrong, the flavor was subtle, balanced and executed perfectly - executed perfectly is the overarching theme of EVERYTHING this restaurant does. The Whipped Eggplant was light, creamy and had a surprisingly rich texture. The Truffle Carbonara hit it out of the park - don't skimp out and skip the extra truffle. What I say to anyone who doesn't think money can buy happiness, I say this: Have you ever seen a sad person eating a truffle...money buys truffles, truffles are happiness...so, there. Not only was the staff attentive and passionate about making sure one has a delightful dining experience, but they gave a very inviting feeling to everyone. The food. We went to Lyla for dinner Saturday night after seeing raving reviews on social media. The ambience and decor is very trendy and beautiful but the food left something to be desired. We started with the hamachi crudo and it was over salted and the cucumber sauce tasted like grassy water. We ordered the lamb chops and for $50+ only received 3 chops. The were very fatty, although they tasted okay. Nothing spectacular. The lobster linguine was overcooked. The pasta was mushy and very acidic tasting. Again for $50+, it only included one lobster tail and it was clearly frozen lobster and nearly tasteless. The broccolini was well cooked and the flavor was fine. Drinks were good. Food was 4/10 we got the margarita pizza and the truffle carbonara. The pizza was super soggy and the pasta had zero truffle visible on it. They also don't do anything special for your birthday you have to ask multiple times and your waiter will tell you that you can order a dessert and the most he can do is put a candle in it. read more

Taste like complete ass....I don't use my card in large parties I pay cash. My tab was $58 and all I had was $100's, she informs me that I would not get change. The entire party was unhappy with their service and lack of attention to our orders. This was my first and last time visiting this establishment and pretty sure the rest of our party of 14 as well. When our meals were served, the food was disappointing & way overpriced for what you received. My avocado toast was burnt, the thick cut bacon is not thick cut at all, the lemon ricotta French toast was served with no syrup even though it was requested( which was finally brought out 10 min later). We did talk to mgmt who adjusted our bill on a few items ($25) which was appreciated, however I am not so sure we would come back again.
