One of the best local spots in the area. I will always show up for the things that are right. Jack always takes care of random and regular

The pizza is good no complain this is my second time ordering from there this time the lady that dropped off my food was asking for a tip but I paid with card she kept asking for a tip and I said I'm sorry I don't have cash she then said okay don't bother calling no more we will no longer deliver to you because you don't tip I work in a restaurant and when people don't tip I don't complain because tipping is optional the lady was very rude. I will never order from here again. read more

The food was decent and while I liked the calzone, it wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. And for clarity, this was a late night dinner after a few beers and pool fun, so we were hungry. The cranberry walnut salad was disappointing because it only had like 5 cranberries and barely any walnuts. It was a very sad looking salad They did make things right by giving us extra cranberries and walnuts, but the inconvenience of not having it right the first time and having to go back and get the items was frustrating. I get it, this happens in the food industry at many restaurants, but better quality control should be standard. I still recommend LW Pizza because restaurants need our support and just because I didn't have a pleasant experience doesn't mean you won't either. read more

The pizza was great, they must have misplaced my order though because it took a little longer than expected but they let me know as soon as I walked in so I went to run an errand and came back and it was waiting for me. Delicious crust, one of the best I've had in a long time. Definitely going back to try more of the menu since I just got the basic pepperoni this time. read more

LW Pizza This is a review for my takeout experience at LW Pizza located in Long Beach on a Saturday evening. LOCATION: LW Pizza is located in a small complex close to the Blondie's Bar. The parking may be limited, so it may take some time to find parking. HOURS: Sunday-Thursday: 10:30AM-10:30PM Friday-Saturday: 10:30AM-11:30PM SERVICE: We called in our order and requested a half and half pizza, with the MEAT LOVERS (pepperoni, sausage, salami, ham, and bacon) and the WHITE PIZZA (Alfredo sauce, chicken, onions). We ordered a LEGEND, which is the largest size and has 32 slices. It is huge! They are well known for creating humongous pizzas and it is no joke! They quoted us about 30-35 minutes. When we got there it just came out of the oven. STAFF: Very friendly! On the phone and in person! :) FOOD: Our pizza was amazing! It was super delicious! It didn't taste oily or salty, which is a trait I've noticed in some pizza joints. The meat lovers had the perfect amount of each meat and the white pizza's sauce and the onions on it was out of this world! The crust had just the right amount of crunch and texture. Each piece of the pizza was flavorful! *If you are ordering legend pizzas I strongly recommend making sure your car is empty and you have someone to help you because it is ginormous! It was difficult to put it in the car! But it was definitely worth the work! If you are having a huge family get together, I definitely recommend coming to LW Pizza and ordering some LEGENDary pizzas! read more

I placed an online order, waited 30 minutes to show up and be told to cancel my order. It's sad to see that small business not care. To top it all off one pizza was burnt and the other undercooked. You're better off going to Little Caesars over this place. To summarize, two pizzas 90 minutes wait and $82 down the drain. read more

The food was great. The pizza came just as I ordered and the wings were also tasty, but a lil spicy. I also got the Antipasto salad and that was a hit. But the best was the turkey sub I ordered. Good price and the sandwich was enough for two. I'll be coming back for sure. read more

This is my favorite pizza. I've only ever tried the Fireman's special, it's spicy and flavorful. They are always quick with pickup orders. If you're having drinks at Blondie's across the parking lot, they will walk over your order, staff is always nice. read more

Where do I start... this place serves pizza-- I'm surprised it's rated as high as it is --what runs for $18 is total joke -- then again I've been hunting good pizza spots for the last couple years and know of a few spots that blow this place a way so maybe I have a refined taste/expectation of how pizza should be. One of our favorite spots is about $45 per pizza so it's not like we expect a lot and are cheap. Don't be fooled by the slice count --- anything is a slice here. We love eating small, shopping small but it just seems likes this place really misses the mark, massively. I just don't see how you're double dominos price and don't provide the value in a cracker type pizza. Don't be fooled by the "slice count -- wait till you see the picture I send you one about as wide as a Mozzarella stick Staff was meh, lights in the front were off but luckily the cooler for sodas lit up the inside. Not sure if the place is on its last leg... What I do recall after ordering is I ate here about 3 years ago and forgot why it wasn't good and why I hadn't been back. Thanks for the refresher! Change the name, you're giving Lakewood Blvd a bad rap for pizza. Their microwaved sides must come from harvesting Costco samples during the day. They are sub par and not remotely enjoyable. May the Pizza God's have mercy on your souls. read more

I haven't had pizza in a long time, but I was craving a good cheat meal while in town. LW Pizza won my party and I over as it was one of the closest pizza spots near us (plus the 28" Legend pizza that has 32 slices really intrigued us). I am so glad we chose this place because this place is SO good! Ordering online was extremely simple. You have the option to schedule pickup or delivery. Picking up our order was quick as everything was ready in about 25-30 minutes. Their menu is huge!! They offer a lot of specialty pizzas, subs, pastas and even ice cream! I also appreciate their wide variety of salad options as well as I don't see many pizza places with a good selection of salads. We ended up ordering: BBQ chicken pizza (medium 12"): $13.99 Ayman's Specialty pizza (medium 12"): $13.99 Garlic cheese bread (small): $3.99 Cranberry walnut salad (large): $7.99 Chicken wings (12 pieces): $11.99 Chicken salad (large): $7.99 I enjoyed the cranberry walnut salad and the Ayman's pizza. The salad was so fresh and light and the pizza was not too heavy or greasy (love the thin crust). Prices are super reasonable and the portion sizes were perfect. They even offer cauliflower crust! Overall, I will be coming back when I'm in the area as I can't wait to try their other specialty pizzas. read more

Tried something new this time after already having great pizzas. This time I had their Antipasto Salad. I loved it. Fresh salad with Feta cheese crumbles, croutons, and lots of assorted Deli Meats, plus a big cup of Ranch Dressing. Large portion good for a few people. Yummy. Delicious and kudos to their chef. read more

Their pizza is great quality! Definitely worth it. Recommend: basic pepperoni, veggie and their Fireman (spicy). The fireman is my fav! You can eat inside but it's tight and small, also no AC read more

One of, if not the best pizza I have had! High quality ingredients are the key and consistent delicious food from Patty and her husband. The LW Hawaiian pizza and meat lovers Pizza are absolutely delicious the sauce, the cheese the ingredients are all high quality and plentiful! I've had the pasta dishes as well and the same ring is true, excellent quality at a great price. Everyone there is so friendly it feels like a HomeTown shop which it is basically and I first heard about them from a delivery driver when I moved to Long Beach. I highly recommend you give them a try! So many places seem to drop their quality to save costs yet LW remains high quality, huge portions and just delicious food. read more

Our favorite place to order take out pizza! They always arrive in timely manner and all the specialty pizzas make it exciting every time we try them. One of the few places who actually pick up a phone call and you don't have to order through an app. Also, I have an allergy baby and their pizza / pizza crust is egg free which is 100% an added bonus. We order for friends and they always comment on how yummy the pizza is hands down! read more

This great local pizza place is almost hidden from view - but so glad we finally went in. They make some of the best pizza I have ever ate - and boy have I tried a LOT of pizza in my day. The wait time was a little long for a phone order, but it was a busy Friday night so guess I shouldn't complain. I recommend the Aymans special! So good and garlicky! read more

Unfortunately given all of the great pizza in the area, I was underwhelmed. The pizza sauce was not flavorful. The crust was oily. And the overall pie was not my favorite. read more

The local pizza joint on PCH a few blocks away was a let down so here we are. Recently starting a low carb diet, I love that they offer a cauliflower crust option, this was a big plus! I believe they offer gluten free crust as well. I went with the fireman pizza cauliflower crust and my wife went with the LW combo and I must say I was impressed. Generous toppings and the cauliflower had enough crust so that it didn't feel like I was eating a flatbread which was my concern. Great ingredients, well cooked, great pizza, but nothing mind blowing taste wise. The wings I could do without next time, but for the price point, you can't complain. The legendary size pizza sounds fun and I would consider for a big party. Good spot for my pizza fix and conveniently located in the same plaza as a bar I just recently discovered and enjoyed! read more

The most delicious pizza I have tasted. Drive 30 minutes just to get one. The calzone and sandwiches are great and fresh. Staff are nice

We moved into a nearby neighborhood and this seems to be our closest pizza place that isn't a chain... I'm relieved that the food is very good here. Not the best pizza in the world by any means, but it's good and gets the job done. Tried the calzone and it was great. Meatball sub was good but a little sparse on the meat, great bread and sauce though. Mozzarella sticks were just ok. Prices are reasonable and service doesn't take too long. I'll be back. read more

First time I ate here was when I went to Blondie's to celebrate passing a test on my nursing program. Me and my classmates got the Wings and the Chicken BBQ PIzza. It was very tasty! Everything was made as ordered, it didn't take that long, it was just we werw pretty hungry. Me and one classmate also shared a meatball sub. Usually I don't get meatball subs just because they're pretty plain to me, without other ingredients in it, but this was really yummy. The meat was tender and the sauce was flavorful, the bread nicely toasted and there was a really good cheese pull. I came back 10 days later with my other half and he loved it as well. He told me that he wouldn't like to buy pizza from other places anymore, and we haven't after I've introduced this place to him. He enjoyed the Meat Lover's alot. It was very loaded, and the sauce wasn't overpowering the toppings. I also got the BBQ Chicken again because I really enjoyed it after the first time. I'm personally not a BBQ kind of person because I assume the BBQ sauce will overpower everything else on a pizza but this was just the right amount. It wasn't an overwhelming taste of BBQ, it was more of a hint of BBQ that complimented the chicken and onions. They have a few tables where you can sit and eat, but I think it would still be really tasty even if you have it as to-go. We're definitely coming back to try some other pizzas! read more

I've been getting their pizza for years. It's yummy and cheap. If your looking for gourmet, look somewhere else. Last night I ordered pizza, salad and mozzarella sticks for my friend and her kids. Pizza was awesome, even the salad. Those mozzarella sticks were horrible though. I took one bite and spit it out. My friends sons hated them too, but loved the pizza. I heard the mozzarella sticks are a hit or miss, so I'm letting you know now lol. They weren't cooked through and it had a weird metal taste almost like it was frozen and put in a air fryer or something. Anyways, great pizza!!! Always has been! read more

I'll just start off by saying iv always wanted to try this place as it's just down the street from me. I got it delivered to my place on ubereats. I've had several margherita pizzas and this was pretty disappointing. This tastes nothing like an actual marghertia pizza, the cheese and sauce didn't really blend well. At least they tried, but I guess I set my expectations too high expecting some culinary masterpiece as iv never had negative experiences with marghertia pizzas before. Maybe I'll come back in the future for a pepperoni pizza, and set my expectations a bit lower. read more

I found this place looking for gluten free pizza because my wife is gluten intolerant and it was a hit! I ordered a regular pizza and one with a gluten free crust and I'll be real honest, it's the best I've come across so far in a 10 mile radius! The owners take pride in their products and it shows! The staff follow orders correctly and could not ask for better service or pizza. I highly recommend anyone to give them a try. You won't be disappointed and try their gluten free crust, you can't tell it's made without flour. That's how good it is. Thank you guys for a great meal. I will be returning for future pizza orders! read more
