I wasn't too pleased with my nails. I left feeling like it was okay but not super excited like one should feel after getting their nails done. The man who did my nails kept filling my nails down was too much. This leads to brittle nails and even after speaking up he kept doing so. I just felt like all around it wasn't a precise job. I was grateful that I was able to get worked in and out in a timely manner. Less than a week after getting my nails done I'm already experiencing chipping. I am a healthcare worker so I am using hand sanitizer and washing my hands a bit more frequently than the average person however. I will probably shop around prior to coming back again. read more

This is your reminder to NOT switch up from your regular nail tech. I had to come here last minute because I had a wedding the next day. Got my nails done on a Friday at 2pm. A nail completely broke that same evening at 8. Six hours later, broken nail. Don't even know how! Tuesday comes, a nails paint chips off. 4 days and a chipped nail. Today, 10 days later, another nail broke off. With my original nail tech, my nails NEVER break, nor chip. For $55 (overpriced as it was), I expected much better quality. I have NEVER had a bad experience coming here, hence why I've been going for so long and will continue to keep coming back. I absolutely LOVE this place. First of all, they DO NOT pop nails off. This is the last place in the IE that doesn't pop off and actually cares about the health and quality of your nails. The establishment was clean, had an appointment so they took me fairly quickly, however, the service was rushed and outcome was not worth the price. I don't mind spending good money for outstanding service. If you're looking for a relaxing massage and beautiful nails this is not the place for you.. Avoid this place at all costs! Staff is rude and does not acccept people of color. Due to their proximity to Starbucks, I have stopped by in person only to be told that they are full every time. Although others that do not look like me are taken right away. I called over the phone, as well (just to check, ) and was told to come the following day. Unacceptable! My 12 year old daughter and her girlfriend went into get a mani/pedi at Luxury Nails. She was told over the phone it would be $118 so they made an appointment. During their visit they were up-sold gell and additional nail colors (without being told it would be an extra $55), to a grand total of $183 for two mani/pedi. The manager refunded $10 for an over-charge when asked for the cost breakdown. (Which I believe was the attendant giving herself a $10 tip, but I can't prove that). I went in to understand how this happened and was blamed for sending in my daughter without parent supervision. They offered to refund $30 if the girls came back they would remove the gell. However they rushed the entire service so they can leave..... the entire staff kept talking about who's house they were going to go party at after, and non stop conversation about drinking and getting drunk. I will be back. They book up quick and are super busy- so go at a slow time (morning) or make an appointment. Starbucks is next door so grab something before and then get the work there done.
