TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. I came here with a bachelorette group to get our nails done. We spent over 4 hours at the salon because the nail polish kept peeling off. Bad work, dirty facility. Had to come back in 2x because of my friends chipping and peeling gel before even leaving the parking lot. They removed my previous gel manicure with a heavy metal dremmel bit causing me pain with my thin nails. Rough with removing ingrowns and then will call you sensitive for telling them it hurts.. This place is horrible, I walked in and thought it was gorgeous, the service was really nice but when it came to the payment, they snuck so many things in the price. I called half hour before I went in saying all I want is gel nails and toes so they gave me a firm price. Then I went in, the lady asked what I wanted and I said I was the one who called earlier (gave her my name) and she gave me the same price, she said oh okay. She brought me to the pedicure area and started working on my feet and I repeated myself literally 3 times saying all I wanted was gel nails and toes and making sure this was apart of it, she kept saying okay and kept going. I then got done, service was great and went to go pay, they told me 30 firm on the phone and when I went in. She rang me up and told me 55$ now I know that's not that bad but for her to tell me a certain price then bump it up without telling me is not okay with me. So I told her I'm not paying more because she told me a firm price. So she got upset and started talking a different language to her co workers and I knew of course it was about me. But I left it alone and went home, and I just went out for gas, some food and went back home, I just noticed now that my nail has already chipped and I haven't done anything hard with my hands. BEST SPA DAY EVER! So my room mates and I decide to go shopping at the Gilroy Premium Outlets and we wanted to pamper ourselves as well. This place is relaxation gold! :D The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was serene. They had relaxing music played the whole time. My friend and I received a deluxe luxury mani/pedi and a 50min massage. The total for everything was $85!! That is spectacular for the services provided. Especially since they also offer your tea/water and they also gave us snacks and some apple cider (see uploaded pics). One thing I must say is that this place is definitely not a come-and-go place. If you're in a hurry or just want a quick mani/pedi... You should probably go somewhere else. But if you're looking for calm and relaxation, this is definitely the place. PROS: -Friendly staff -Clean and comfy -Mani/Pedi was excellent -Massage was excellent as well (they even clean the oil off before you leave) -Staff took their time and did not push other services on you -No rushing CONS: -Not for quick mani/pedi -Its far from me!! Spoke with Steven earlier about coming in, very friendly and easy to set up a walk-in appointment. Asked to have a fill. Went from a matte, maroon, long coffin shape to shorter oval pink and white set. Steven was exceptionally fast, on point with his design and took extra care for detail. I got a medi pedi. The pedicure was fine came out good the manicure is my issue. The lady did not want to cut my nails so some are crooked. I told her to cut them she pushed back and said my 2 longer nails are nice and to keep the length, I said fine whatever. She put the gel on after she put the sealer on the nails she started filing which I don't get my nails done often but I get them don't enough to know that no one has ever filed after the polish was on. Immediately after payer I look at my manicure, there are bubbles, what seems like a hair under the polish and completely uneven and un level polish. I figure it's fine I can deal with it for 2 weeks and just go to a different salon next time. 1 day later the polish on 1 nails peels, I go back they question if I actually got them done there, ask who did it, what day etc. they fix it no charge. Now 2 days after the manicure a second nail chips and starts peeling. I may go back and get it fixed I don't expect it to be free but it's frustrating That this is happening 1 and 2 days after the manicure. read more

Ive heard that salons start to mix their own colors after a while, but I could be wrong. Being a day spa owner, I do look around and receive services from other businesses. Love to support my fellow local nail salons and day spas! I also love to see what others are doing to make their service amazing. I recieved a fantastic gel/shellac fill from Sony and I recieved a wonderful pedicure! Can't remember her name :-/ great job, clean, sanitary, loved the lemons! Excellent service all around. Would love to come back! Great place, would recommend to others based on my service today. I will say that this is a beautiful spa, however there is a lot of clutter (boxes, bags, extra towels, dust, and bottles) around that could use some picking up. Just to keep it clean and clutter free. That's just my opinion. There is also and abundance of gel/shellac nail dryers. Everywhere you turn. On benches, the floor :( the display cases are dirty and cluttered. Just little things that I thought could be easily fixed. It's such a gorgeous spa, hate seeing clutter in it. Went in for a full set. The guy with the Rolex watch did my nails literally in probably 20 minutes. He glued the nails, applied for he agrilic, shapes the nail with the filer, went over the nails one time with the electric filer. Then he proceeded to apply the nail polish. I asked him if he was done filing and he said yes! My nails are so crooked..... going back to another place tomorrow. No wonder that place was empty on a Friday evening. Never ever going back. I normally don't put reviews of places but I can say I will not be returning to this place which is very unfortunate because I've always loved going there. I went 2 days ago to get my nails done( got acrylic nails with gel polish) not even 5 hours after 4 of my nails had the gel coming off. The person who painted them only let my fingers sit in the UV light for maybe under 10 seconds so they never dried thoroughly. I went back the next day to get them fixed. They made me leave to come back in 30 mins. When I did the same guy who painted them helped me and redid the 4 nails I had an issue with. Did them extremely fast and then did the same thing with the UV light. Today I reach my hand in my pocket to get my phone out and my nail did the same thing! Will not be returning. read more

My teenage daughter just left getting her nails done and collapsed in tears in the car. The man who did her nails didn't listen to what she wanted or asked for. Made them short and short as she asked to keep them long, to correct the color which was wrong, he filled off her skin and put glue to stop the bleeding. So sad. Shaped badly, wrong color, too short, rude, rough finish. They lost two customers today. She's going to get them redone someplace else tomorrow. read more

Environment was nice. They super rushed my mani pedi after making me wait for ab 45min (with appt!). It lead to a less than spectacular job after they clipped my nails AFTER asking if I wanted a full set or gel on natural nail (I wanted natural nail) and their solution was to attach fake tips to the nails they had already clipped. I have hang nails everywhere after just leaving from the rushed work. For the pedis (which I typically get for the callous removal and massage) it was practically non existent. The "massage" for both mani and pedi basically consisted of them rubbing in lotion twice. That's it. My girl spent ab 30 sec on callous removal but did a great job a painting (which I feel should go without saying). The whole experience was vastly overpriced with no apologies for the mistakes made, the rushed work, or the amount of time they had me wait when I had an appointment. read more

Ever since corona happened their place is unkept and their employees are curt and borderline rude. At the end I was confused cause they didn't say a word to me. Told me the total. My first experience at Luxury was not good, I vowed never to be back even when Steve, the manager, redid my entire full set and didn't charge me (because some other girl messed it up BAD). But my mom loves Luxury and I would always tag along with her...so I gave them a 2nd chance. I've been back monthly for the past year and have trouble giving other places a chance now. The girls at Luxury are really good. Great pedicures, the best for $18, and while shellac is relatively high in price, it's worth it. I feel like I get a full body massage when I go for my mani/pedi because they massage your feet, legs and arms/hands. I live in SJ and go down to Gilroy for my hair, I always end up making an appointment with Luxury the same day so that I can have a full spa day. I highly recommend for locals. read more

Honestly...just horrible. I made a mistake to come here over my usual spots when in town; Lavender or Perfect Nails. Not only did they completely butcher my friend's nails, but my basic manicure. I give myself manicures weekly, so how does a "professional" mess it up so badly? Mine had bubbles after drying and began chipping the next day. This I would expect from a cheap manicure but $15? I can get a better mani and pedi in NYC for $20! Ridiculous. Oh and the bubbles formed I'm assuming because there was NO AIR DRYER. I walked in here asking about what type of wax they use (I hate the pink kind)... they told me they had this and that type of wax and also did threading. I was surprised and decided go with threading. Big mistake. The lady was nice but not at all skilled at threading. she ended up basically tweezing my eyebrows and even then was not thorough. This place is absolutely the worst nail salon. I used to be a regular customer but this place is literally the worst. I called around 6:30pm today to see if they were available for a mani and pedi, the lady on the phone told me to come in at 7. I know they close at 7 so I double checked that that was okay since i know they work long hours. The lady ensured me that it was fine and that she was booking me for a 7pm appointment. I got to luxury at exactly 7pm, I had to go up to someone to let them know i was there since they all ignored me. about 10 minutes of waiting around, a couple walked in and asked if they were okay for a walk in. They were told yes. I finally got a chair and waited for someone to assist me. One of the ladies started walking towards me with all her stuff then looked at me and turned back around. I thought maybe she just had to go get something, but she never came back. Instead i sat there for 40 minutes, my feet in now cold water. I looked around and saw that the couple that had entered after me AND as walk ins were both being helped already. I was so upset. I've never been treated so badly. I was just trying to get my nails done before my graduation and instead was treated like i didn't even exist. It was so rude. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They have the worst service and the owner is terrible to his employees. This place has really gone down hill ever since queen and vicky left. I never write bad reviews but when something or someone makes you feel as bad as they made me feel today then i feel as if people deserve to know what kind of place this is. read more

They recently changed owners and there are only about 3 original employees here. I went today and it was a strange vibe. While I was attempting to use the restroom, there was a lady sweeping and talking on the phone who wouldn't even move to let me pass. The pedicures are TERRIBLE! They did not remove any of my dead skin, did not do a good job removing my cuticles. I asked them to cut an ingrown nail and the man clipped my skin off and made me bleed! I got my nails done for prom here and they were the WORST NAILS I HAVE EVER SEEN. They are uneven and the lady didnt even fill them to the bottom of my nail beds. My best friend and I are regulars here and usually we love it, we go every other week but lately both of us have had a couple bad experience with one of the manicurists. Shes a petite, cute girl with straight bangs that wears a "Queen" name tag. Last time she did my friends nails she messed up and within days they were chipping and breaking. This time she painted my nails and one didn't dry so she got mad at me and did a crappy re do which peeled ten minutes after we left. Steve is awesome, he does a great job and is so so nice. Went for pedicures with my elderly grandma earlier this week and all seemed fine until the nail artist kept trying to upsell us a bunch of products. I politely said no...multiple times. Then she asked my grandma, who also declined. She wouldn't stop. I then asked if they cost extra money, and when she said that they did, I had to give a firm no thank you...she did not like that. From then on, as she did my grandmothers toenails, she was rough and very rude. Not okay with me and we will not be back. We did still tip, because I'm horrible at confrontation.
