I really liked this place when I first started coming but I feel like it's been downhill the last few times I've been. Multiple times I've gotten manicures and they don't clean my nails or even ask me to wash my hands. Which I've never experienced, esp for a $60+ manicure. Also feel like they could be using the same toenail clippers on everyone which can cause fungal infections. read more

This is my go to nail salon. I always get friendly service and they always ask if I'm happy with the results. I only get pedicures but my daughter gets gel x and likes creative designs, which they do. I call a head to make sure they have availability and they work with me on appointments. read more

My 2nd visit to Veda and the service is amazing! Clean, cleanest nail salon I've been to. Staff provides excellent service, love the flowers and lemon in the water! Fabulous foot massage and the cart with drinks and snacks takes the cake! Definitely recommend!!! read more

Tried giving this place another chance.. walked in with my sleeping baby in his car seat and got looked up and down by the lady working... there were probably 3-4 women sitting around doing nothing and I was told I couldn't get a pedicure and to take a card and come back. lol no thanks. This place was terrible to me the last time I attended before a trip! I walked in do a new set of acrylic. They did not clean my nails well which caused left over residue from the acrylic. They proceeded to do a new set without cleaning out my nails well, then topped it with more acrylic. By the end of buffing my nails felt bumpy. I asked the lady to fix it and she squeezed my hand. I asked her again and said no, she looked at her colleagues and changed her mind. She filled wrong again on purpose. I asked for a manicure instead. She filed down to my skin almost. My finger felt hot and red. The next day I went on my trip and was struggling to hold my bags. My nails were breaking and I was in ypain!!!!!! read more

I walked in on a Saturday to find the salon very busy. They said it would be a few hours until they would be ready for me and to come back at a certain time. I did go back and they were ready for me. Jessica did my nails and did a nice job. The salon is clean and they serve you beverages and snacks with certain services. That was so cool. I had a glass of wine and enjoyed the services. So it's been less than two weeks since I got the original nails done went back after four days to get a repair. That was on Monday by Wednesday two additional nails had fallen off. Which means four nails out of the 10 came off when I went to the shop on Thursday to have the nails removed because I'm tired of having them falling off. They made me wait for 40 minutes. They told me it would take 30 minutes to remove the nails. At this point, I would not recommend this nail shop for gel X nails. read more

I find that as soon as their personnel changed their customer service went downhill. I also noticed they serve champagne with alcohol to anyone who buys their top services without checking your ID. There were pretty young girls there acting very immature and they still got served Brut champagne with 12% alcohol. They definitely looked under 21. read more

I came here before work and having had a bad experience at another place the week before in a salon in San Jose I thought I would try to find a new place to get my nails done closer to home( live in Hollister) I was lucky enough to have Vicky do my nails. I showed her a picture for inspiration for a New Years outfit I was planning on wearing and considering I do not get acrylic they came out just perfect for me! She was very gentle, paid close attention to detail to make sure she didn't get color on my cuticles and overall very pleasant. I will be returning to her for future nail services. Location was in a big parking lot so that was good, also inside the shop was clean and upkept. My lady got manicure and a pedicure and said she really liked how everything turned out. I tried to give them another chance but it was the same bad situation all over again. May is so rough with the filing that she cut many of my fingers to the point of bleeding. These cuts were sore for several days and had me very worried that I had an infection. They do not use new nail files on each customer so this was a valid concern. I got a full set and when I pointed out that multiple nails were misshapen and crooked and they act like I'm being ridiculous and ignore me. Literally telling me no every time I point out that the nails aren't looking right. Customer service is bad and it seems like they are honesty really lacking in nail tech skills. I came in to celebrate two birthdays in the family! None of us had ever been but we were immediately welcomed and had all the services explained to us. We splurged for the champagne pedicure package and enjoyed the services and atmosphere. We even sang some karaoke and enjoyed a lot of laughs with each other and the staff. Two days later, I noticed that my gel pedicure did not cure properly. The staff said this was very rare and were eager to fix it. I was in Gilroy for a wedding, and I walked in to get a mani and a pedi. I had to wait about 15 mins to be seated, which I was obliged to wait. The staff was very welcoming and checked in with me as I waited. The woman who did my pedicure, Cristy (I hope that was her name!), did it with such finesse and expertise. Jessica did my manicure and had the best customer service. The whole staff was amazing and seemed to care about their clients. It seemed like they had a lot of regulars, too.
