I walked in around 3:30pm and wanted a pedicure. Not a pleasant experience at all. I don't know, but when I want a pedicure I want the experience to be relaxing - not rushed. The pedicure took no more than 25 minutes (seemed a lot shorter) and my nails were not cleaned underneath the nail; it was just so rushed. I love to have my feet soaked but hardly any soaking at all and lukewarm water. No, I will not go back - too many other good places closer to home. Too bad. Wanted to like this place. read more

Zero stars if I could. I tried this place out since it's close to my Home, and the thing that really upsets me is, I have never had an ingrown nail, so the lady decides to cut into my left big toe on both sides and I ended up bleeding.. and left with a blood blister and a swollen big toe.. I got my toes done a week ago and it hurts to walk or put my shoes on or anything. With that said I will not be returning to this place as I am certain I did not have an ingrown and to top it off my gel polish is chipped . So no thank you. read more

They take too many walk ins and overbook ALL THE TIME. Then when you already have an appt, they do your nails so fast, they do a crappy job. No cleaning under the nails, nails not even, some too long others too short. If I make a nail appt, I expect you to put the time in, not rush because you had walk ins. I've been coming here for years, maybe decades. I've tried many different places in MH, but what brought me here was a coincidence: I'm a "frequent flyer" at the Nob Hill grocery store. Recently the owner Lynn decided to upgrade, and so I'm giving a new "shout-out." This shop is nestled between Cochi's and a clothing boutique. There is a huge parking lot and so no problem finding a space. The facility has been upgraded recently, and so all of the décor, the manicure tables, the pedicure chairs and the walls are a soothing pearl grey. Even the towels are grey! The uniformity is soothing. They play only instrumental music and I appreciate that--no lyrics, no radio chatter, etc. I am DEFINITELY more of a "how it feels" vs. "how it looks" vs. "how long it takes" kind of person, and it looks and feels great! Here they do it all--nail art, acrylic, gel, chrome and full body waxing. They accept credit cards, checks, cash and electronic means of payment. It's true that not everyone speaks idiomatic English, but there are enough staff to communicate effectively. Prices are VERY competitive. Their cleanliness and attention to health or safety is excellent, and always was. With the upgrade they now allow you to choose your scent, so instead of my pedicurist (Amy) scooping the exfoliating scrub and mud mask from a container, it's now squeezed from an individual packet, which I'm sure many will appreciate. Usually I get gel manicures (Helen) and I do "everything" with my pedicures--callus treatment, paraffin, mud mask, etc. I do not seek fast service; I want to luxuriate and escape the tyranny of the day. I always make an appointment 2 and sometimes 4 weeks in advance, so I can't speak to service or attention to walk-ins. What I've noticed as a fly on the wall is that people walk in and say, "I have an appointment with [name.]" To me, repeat business means excellent service. I am mystified by negative reviews posted here; I can't explain that, and have never observed it. Give them another chance if you have experienced this--they are great. read more

Got the worst pedicure ive ever had in my entire life. The polish is all over my skin and they did not exfoliate my feet completely. Actually, the barely exfoliated, and it left my skin rough and jagged, catching on my socks and pants. 2 days later my feet look like they did prior. They didn't clean under the nails at all. Dont waste your time. My daughter and her friend both had appointments. Not sure why they make appointments if they cant keep them. So they sat there for literally 2 hours after the appointment time until my daughter got her nails done. The friend had to wait until my daughter was done to get hers done. I saw them changing gloves and the table towels between customers so it put me at ease during this period. I popped in around 5:30 bc I had broken a nail. The salon was empty and they took me right away. Decided to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. It's a basic nail salon, no ambience. I realized halfway into the pedicure they hadn't turned on the massage chair but when I asked they turned it on right away. The lady doing my feet wasn't wearing her mask which I thought was strange. However, this was one of the best manicure and pedicures I've ever had. The hot stone treatment on my feet was magical and the woman doing my hands really took her time to make sure my nails were perfect! 1 star off for the little issues but overall I liked how my nails turned out. I went with my mom to get a mani (she also did pedi). I got regular polish and the woman that did my nails was very sweet. My nails were good! Here's the thing: I was sitting by the door and noticed that they would change their price depending on who asked. As the hour went on I heard the ladies rattle off completely different prices for the same services. For example: a mani is $12 and $5 extra for french manicure but they charged my mom $30?? Well what can I say. Not everybody is an expert in nails. I certainly wasn't when I went in there and the lady who worked on me seemed to be irritated that I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Excuse me, I've never done this before. She made me feel pretty embarrassed and kind of treated me like I might have been very stupid. But in the end I did get some pretty nails put on. They hurt a lot that night and the next day though. I'm not sure if that is normal. All and all I guess if you know exactly what you want you will get what you pay for. A semi-good semi-cheap manicure. It was cheap so I say it was worth the money but I will not be going back because I don't appreciate being treated like I have an IQ of 12 just because I don't know all the nail salon terminology. read more

Dear Salon, Do not take appointments if you cannot handle them as scheduled. Especially, during this pandemic during the time you are allowed to be open. Appointment taker, you ruin it for the rest of your workers who don't take the calls. If you are looking forward to getting pampered you ll probably have to wait even with an appointment. Today was the second time I have waited here after making an appointment. I made my appointment for 1pm and I had to say something asking what time are they going to get started on my pedicure? I explained that I am coming from San Jose and it's been 20 mins later already and it's not even busy?! No apology. I come from SJ because I've been a loyal customer but that changed today. It ruined my day with my other scheduled plans. A nail technician got started on my pedicure and told me I had to wait another 10 mins for my shellac to come off with foil ! It took her less than 5 mins to put the foil on THEY COULD HAVE DONE THAT IN THE BEGINNING WHILE I WAS WAITING! Throughout this unprofessional experience, Some lady next to me said she waited 30 mins with an appointment and she's not even done with her appointment yet. & a walk in customer came asking if she can get a pedicure she waited not even 2 mins? I was like???????? I'm sure they won't care about this review and they will have other customers waiting. I'll just will no longer be one of them. read more

I was at event in Morgan Hill and had a few hours to kill so I stopped in. Place was packed on a Saturday but I was able to get right in. People were friendly and the place is immaculate. But they charged an ADDITIONAL $17 if you want gel on your toes. My pedicure was $55!!! I almost passed out in the chair when I got that news. And I have gotten pedicures in a ton of big cities including Boston and NYC. She did a great pedicure but $55 was absurd. read more

Never coming back to this place!!! I got both a manicure and pedicure. The manicure was a good experience. The lady who took care of the manicure was very nice. However, for my pedicure two ladies took care of it and it was awful. The lady who started my pedicure took a hangnail off. She proceeded to clean all my toes. When it came time to paint my toenails there was a switch in staff. Another lady took over as she had just arrived into the salon. I didn't notice her pulling more when I hand the hangnail up until I felt pain. I looked over and made a noise because it hurt bad. The lady proceeded to tell me a hangnail. Which I was aware since I tend to get them frequently. I think it even began to bleed because I noticed her clean it right away after pulling. I didn't think anything of it because I get hangnails taken off regularly. Up until today after work!! When I took my sock off I saw some blood and pus. Keep in mind I had no issues at work. But now that I've been resting at home it's been causing me pain. Luckily, I got some antibiotics prescribed to take care of it. But had I not noticed then it could have continued to get worse without treatment. LIKE I SAID I AM NOT COMINV BACN TO THIS SALON AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE COMING HERE UNLESS THEY WANT TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING SIMILAR OR WORSE. read more

Just had a terrible pedicure experience. Sloppy, zero callus removal ( even though I chose and paid for Spa pedicure with callus removal ). She put on my flip flops on the minute she finished applying the nail polish and it got all messed up the minute I got into my car but I didnt even go back, I have already decided I will go to another place for re-do and not come back to this salon ( in which I used to be a regular customer up to recently when the service kept getting worse and worse every single time ). They do have 1 or 2 good technicians but the rest is no good. I shouldnt have even tipped this time, the pedi was so bad.
