I've been coming here for a couple months now and I've enjoyed every visit! I've gotten gel manicures and their pedicures. They're very good at scheduling you in; I called to make a same day appointment and I was booked for an appointment in the next hour. The girls there are also very friendly, gentle, and take great care of you. I had a hot gel set done in Taiwan a month ago and needed a gel removal with a new gel set. They're very efficient, as they can do your mani as you're enjoying a nice pedi soak and massage. I tried the chrome look this time and am in love!! Very sleek, clean, and modern interior. Amour Nailz is by far the best nail salon in Morgan Hill. I wasn't very happy with my last mani/pedi so I thought I'd try a new place. I am so glad I chose this place. I actually searched on Yelp and this place was number one and now I know why! I made an appointment online and when I walked in, I was immediately warmly greeted by Jasmine. She initially started my mani/ pedi and when Nguyen and Nhu were available, they took over. My nails look great!! I was told that the dipping powder is actually stronger than the gel. Jasmine told me that the techs were going to dip my nails and then put gel over, so I could try it out myself and see if I liked it. I definitely did and will be doing dip from now on. I made my appt for Dip powder nails with Kelly on a weekday at 9:30am. It was very easy to make an appointment on their website through their online booking system. I was one of the first ones there, very clean and nice interior! Kelly did a great job with the shape and was very attentive to making sure the shape and the length was what I wanted. I do think it may be too pricey for just color and no design. ($60) Would consider going back for a pedicure sometime. read more

Tried this place for the first time and no thanks, NEVER again. Would not recommend, over priced for what I got. Seems like they care about sanitation and there regulars more then they do details. My nail tech (Kelly) had to ring me up... the owner should have done it and asked how everything went. I would have shown her all the problem areas. They should inform you the price before they start. I paid $70 for a short length acrylic gel ombre (not even the pink I wanted) , and they had soooo many problems. My 8 yr got a $48 gel pedi. $48 FOR A KIDS pedi with GEL?! they were trying to charge me $56 until I stopped them and said something. The owner is definitely taking advantage of the inflation. Second time I made an appointment and had to wait because they said they were running behind. Last time I went with my friend and waited in the chair next to her, my person finally came when my friends pedicure was already done. This time today I had a 2:30pm appointment and arrived 15min early. I was seated in a chair a few min later and at 2:45pm i asked the status and they said maybe another 10min. I said no Thanks and left. This happens when you take walk-ins that push your scheduled appointments or allow appointments to do add ons. My first review of Amour was over 7 years ago. And over 7 years later, this is still my go to nail salon. I walk out of this salon, with the best nails. All the nail techs give you exactly what you ask for. See the attached picture, this is 5 weeks of grow out. 5 weeks of being hard on my hands, all nails are still intact No lifting or breaking. If that doesn't scream amazing work idk what does. Helen the owner is so friendly, even if you book with her other girls, she will always greet you and is so welcoming. The only nail salon I have never cheated on. I have had all services they offer and I've had most every employee work on me in one capacity or another. They are all wonderful in their own right. I have been going to this establishment for about six months now for amazing manicures, and pedicures. Today I tried their waxing. I cannot recommend Kacy A enough. She is very kind, efficient and detailed. I have been to a lot of places to get facial waxing done, but have never walked away as happy and pleased with the service as I did today. I highly recommend facial waxing at Amour Nailz! I'll be even more of a regular at Amour with getting waxing done there now as well. read more

I've been meaning to try this nail salon for over a year as I've seen it recommended by local Morgan Hill moms in the different community groups. The salon is located in the Cochrane Plaza by Mr. Pickles and next door to the Acai bowl place. I originally called to make an appointment but was directed to use the online booking system which was easy to use and pricing was available as well. The booking system pairs you up with your nail technician but its not accurate, which didnt matter to me because it was my first time. On the day and time of my appointment, I was greeted by the owner and served on my appointment time which is a big plus for me. (Why make an appointment if you have to wait?) I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and was serviced by two techs at the same time which made the appointment go quicker (another plus). They both did a great job and I am happy with my nails after almost a week. Pricing is on the higher end here in town, BUT it is definitely one of the nicer salons in town so if you're into the ambiance and fancy looking salon then you are definitely getting what you paid for. I'd probably go back as a treat for myself once in a while but not as my regular go to salon. read more

The owner, Helen, is pleasant, fluent in English and prioritizes her customers. They have a wide variety of regular colors to chose from unlike other salons that only offer gel. (Changed my review to a 4 since my polish wasn't put on as evenly as I wanted) I usually get my nails done in San Jose, but I decided to try this place out since it is right down the street from my house. The inside of the shop is super cute and clean. It also was not very noisy, which is great. I had booked an appointment online the night before (super convenient, by the way) and was seated almost immediately after I arrived to the salon, even though I was early. The lady doing my nails (Diem, i think) was extremely sweet, neat, and did thorough job on my nails. She was also very gentle, and I did not experience any discomfort during the pedicure. I opted for the $30 simple vintage pedicure. This included a foot scrub with some type of exfoliant (not sure if they always do this) as well as a leg/feet lotioning/massage. You get to pick from a list of different scents. At the end, I even had hot towels placed on my legs. Yes, this place is pricey, but I think it's worth it because of the quality of service and the overall experience. I will definitely be returning. Check them out! read more

I'll definitely be back! Finally found a friendly and welcoming nail salon exceptionally happy with my nails after todays appointment for an acrylic fill and reshape. The previous salon I went to (in Hollister) did a really crappy job and I was not happy at all.. for 4 weeks I had an ugly set of nails. Thank god I found this place, Lucy did my nails today and I definitely feel like she knew what she was doing. Already getting compliments on my nails! Helen greeted me when I walked in and kept referring to me by name which I have to say is so nice! The price is fair for what I had done, you pay for what you get. First time to this nail salon today. Nail technician was very rude. Not one word spoken the whole time with the exception of "Put your foot up, put your foot down." While I don't expect to become best buddies with my nail technician, a friendly hello, how's your day going, in other words a little small talk makes you feel welcome! The pedicure itself was subpar at best. For a $56.00 pedicure, she rushed through the whole experience and when she had finished, upon inspection, I had to have her redo several toes. Sloppy work with lots of streaks. She could have cared less. No sense of pride in her work and definitely not wanting repeat customers which is not a problem since there are nail salons on practically every corner. I moved up to Morgan Hill from LA I'm January and finding a good nail salon was a must. I think I went to 3 different salons before I found one who did my nails exactly how I liked them and who felt worth it. Once I found Amour I haven't gone anywhere else. I normally opt for ombré acrylics and a gel pedicure but for the holidays I wanted to get some sparkles and stickers and they did not disappoint. They have so many mail color options for standard color, gel and dip. For my pedicure I normally get the amour gel pedicure which comes with callus removal, paraffin wax and a hot stone massage and the girls never skimp on massaging, I always leave with my feet feeling so refreshed. It may have been an off day today, but it may be my first and last attempt. Overall great salon, but the tech's skill, product need to be improved. pedicure: Clean tools, nice selection of colors, excellent customer service (they took me early!), comfy chairs, lovely salon. That's where the fun ended. My right big toe was cut way too short, the left is too long. The top coat doesn't cover the toe nail so it looks rough and uneven. From far, it looks okay, but closer inspection it's clear that my tors need some buffing. Manicure: Again, clean- she used disinfected tools, and Queenie was super super kind. I really thought she was doing her best. I think this brand of nail color is cheap and shrinks. That meant 4-5 layers of polish, to the point my skin was over sensitive in the uh light box. The color looks awful, I hate it. It's lumpy, and streaky, and looks really bad. My nails are now files so short they hurt. That was done to compensate for the fact the gel color kept shrinking. Not how I wanted my hands to look on vacation. So $71 + tip later, I'm happy the people were so kind and the salon clean, but the service (maybe partially due to products) is subpar. I pay about $60 at a high end Campbell sailing so I doubt I'll come back. Oh.. and if you're reading this, please don't be condescending towards the nice ladies that work here. A customer today was very discriminatory and rude. I felt terrible for them and didn't want to complain after seeing this clearly racially motivated interaction. read more

A little over priced. They use a drill. I just moved to Morgan Hill and my previous place in Santa Clara never would use a drill. They also don't paint all the way to the cuticles so it makes your polish appear like it has grown out way faster. For the price you'd think they'd automatically offer you a beverage.
