The service I normally get here is a pedicure with my girl KT (Kathy). I also trust her with my eyebrows. I've tried other places for pedicures, but, for me, no one does a better job than KT. I'll walk in sometimes but if she's not available, I'd rather wait for her or schedule an appointment with her. Absolutely grateful she takes care of my toenails and makes them look gorgeous. I think all of the ladies here are awesome; I'm just particular with my toenails. read more

Salina was amazing! She made me feel right a home and listened to what I actually wanted. My nails came out perfect! Salina got herself a new forever customer! This review is solely for the waxing service. My original plan was to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded at the place down the street since I haven't waxed in probably close to 10 years. The shop a couple doors down was closed around the time it was supposed to be open so I decided to try the nail shop for a wax instead. When I came in (around 11 AM on a Tuesday) one of the employees said she could take care of me right away. She did a great job and explained that she used a wax that was suitable for sensitive skin. The pain was what's to be expected with waxing. It ended up being super quick and I was pleased with the results. The total for my eyebrows (a clean up since my brows aren't very thick) and my upper lip was $17. I do admit there was a very overwhelming chemical smell when I walked in which could be a deterrent but I looked past it since I was in a pinch and since the employee was very nice read more

Needing some major work done on my hands. Broke 3 nails down to the skin, ouch. Gel mani was $35.00 and 2 broken nails were $10.00. but the pain to the touch is gone, yay. Loved the red #113 color chosen for this mani. Im ready for a night on the town, lol. read more

I went to get my acrylic off and the lady attempted to rip it off with a fake nail (several times) after they told her to use acetone. Then she burned/cut the side of my nail with the machine that evens the surface. As she's doing my cuticles she pokes the bottom of my nail (a few times! Not just once). I asked for plain pink gel nails and they came out a bit lumpy. At this point, I should have just walked out But I felt bad for the older lady. She was sweet but it felt like she was just in a hurry to get it over with. DEFINITELY NOT worth $55 DOLLARS read more

Got a gel pedi ($40). Came in on a Friday morning at around 9:45, no wait. Very gentle. Regular pedi is $30. Mani+pedi with gel is $70. Wish prices were posted. Vietnamese small business, really nice ladies. read more

I've come here a few times & there's always good conversation & great work but this time when I went in I showed the lady the picture of what I wanted (long French tip was what the person in charge called it & I got regular French tip) she continued to help me but when it came to the French tip I asked for, she tried a few times & finally said she couldn't do it. As a paying customer, I would've waited for someone who could do it or come back another day. It ended up turning into a back and forth situation with the person in charge (not the one doing my nails) because I was upset I was paying for something I didn't want. It was very uncomfortable with people there & I don't tend to bicker with employees who are doing their job. I wasn't even offered to wait for someone who could do it for me because they got busy, which again, understandable, but I should've been notified from the beginning that she couldn't do the work I was asking for. I settled for the regular French tip & the lady who did it for me was visibly uncomfortable (with reason) and she didn't end up doing the greatest job. The French tip is uneven & there's small streaks of yellow on the bottom of my nails. read more

Manicurist rushed my pedicure and finished 10 minutes faster than my past pedicures. Also, I didn't care for the salon and my chair was very uncomfortable. It was a massage chsir and something was poking me in the back the whole time. I even told the manicurist but she didn't fix it. read more

I have a memorial to go to tomorrow. I have a nail polish color that matches a lipstick. I paid for a manicure and whatever their top coat was changed the color. I'm not happy. She cut me. I have no idea if the tools were clean. It was my first and last time here. I asked her why it was a purple instead of red and she said maybe there was no top coat. There is definitely top coat. I only need my nails done for one day. I cannot have nial color on my hands for work. So annoyed. First world problems I know. Now to repaint my nails so they're the right color! They lady was nice. Hence 2 stars. read more

It's definitely your typical nail salon but with some of the kindest and most talented artists in the bay. I showed a picture of what I wanted to D and she did my nails better than the picture. I felt so embarrassed walking in with gross chunky nails done by Amour Nailz in the Cochrane plaza. D made me feel completely welcome and made my hands beautiful again. I would absolutely 100% recommend this nail salon not just for the talent, but the service. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been to several nail salons in Morgan Hill but this place is my favorite. Its not your spa like salon but it has qualities that surpass it. I love their customer service, friendliness, attentiveness to details. Not to mention their reasonable prices. I have to admit, I'm not a snobby client, but I am picky when it comes to perfection and detail. I know what I like and paying for the professional services, I do have expectations. Pros: - good customer service - family friendly staff - can keep a good conversation going - good results - reasonable prices Cons: - could use a bit of redecorating BTW, they have a card they sign after every service. When its filled, they give you a discount on your next one read more

Love Salina's Nails! I have been frequenting (every 2-4 weeks as needed or as my schedule allows) this little place for about 6 months now. I have never consistently gotten my nails done before bc its 1. expensive and 2. i never really clicked in a nail salon. Salina's nails is a place that I keep coming back to though! Reasons I love this place: 1. Salina and DeeDee are awesome and always keep me laughing. 2. They speak English to me, which is refreshing since I usually feel like nail places talk about my when they are speaking another language I don't understand... 3. They do an AWESOME JOB! 4. I can bring in crazy pics off Pinterest, and they execute it perfectly! 5. Salina takes a lot of pride in her work, and will do just about anything to make her clients happy with her work! This nail salon is not 'super fancy' by any means (I mean, its next to a dollar tree...), but that doesn't take away from the quality of work they do! Their prices are reasonable ($20/fill, $25 fill with Gel). Let me tell you, I've paid a LOT more for a fill ($90 at a super post salon in AZ), and the quality didn't even come close. Now that I have been here, I don't think I'll ever have a need to try out another place! THANKS SALINA & TEAM! read more

So I got my nails done like 3 days ago and paid 30 for a gel full set. And I mean that's cheap for the most part . But I'm gunna say that you really get what you pay for there. The ladies were all friendly so that was a plus but I did notice that quite a few people had appointments and though they did not take very long, but they still had to wait about 10 mins. When they came inside saying "oh I have an appointment" it was almost like she had forgotten that she had appointments . Maybe they were just really busy that day but that is just from my experience from when I went. Also going back to, you get what you pay for, I got my nails done 3 days ago but I am starting to notice bubbles and my nail is already starting to peel up from the sides on some of them. On my thumb, as you see in the picture, the gel has chipped off. Kinda disappointed. read more

I love this place. I've been going to DyDy for like 5 years now and she NEVER disappoints. She knows exactly what I like and exactly what shape and length. I live in Austin Texas but I visit Morgan Hill a couple times a year and I was searching for a place to get my nails done here. I searched every where the found salinas and liked what I heard about the place so I called and made an appointment. When I got there I had to wait a couple of minutes which was much Better than some places I have been. I told salina that the previous woman that had done my nails had filed my nails down badly so she gently removed my old set of acrylics with no pain what so ever. While she was doing my nails we talked a lot and laughed. I very much enjoyed our conversation. Also while getting my nails done there were a few of her clients walking in trying to get appointments and the way she talks to her clients like they are good friends was really refreshing. Long story short, lol, I absolutely loooovveeee my nails they are gorgeous! ! I'm glad I found a place to come to when I'm in town. But it sucks that she's not in Texas! Sometimes it takes 2 + hours and she is so patient with me and never gets frustrated with the my ideas or changes last minute. That's really huge to me. I need a nail lady to work with me! Went in to get two nails my nails fixed by salina the owner .side note I have natural nails so I wanted something similar to natural .well she decided to put pink powder and as I'm telling her not to it dosen't look right she started get mad say well when its filed down it won't look pink ( not true ) pink is pink. I said she should have done a clear power she started getting more mad she said well it's to late I'm just going to do it like this ,after I already told her I didn't like it .mind you I have two nail with pink powder one nail with clear. I told her nicely I dont like this.it dont look nice she said well I already did it so I'm just going to file it done then it's done i told her to fix it. She started getting more mad she said in not going to fix it .she said if you dont like it dont pay.so I said ok ot going to pay unless she fixed it .so I get up to walk out ahe started calling me names. So I turned around and started defending myself . I walked back up to where her deck is at and o told her dont ever talk to me like that.she picked up a container of powder and acted like she was going to hit me in the face. So I called to police . read more

Beware you will be on speaker when you call and they will make fun of you and talk shit among each other in front of customers and on top of that they will mess up your shape and application. I had to go home and file my nails because after asking nicely to fix it they messed it up more. The nails were uneven, cut slanted/crooked and the gel had bubbles. They should focus on learning shapes and application, THE BASICS rather than mocking their customers. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Love Salina nails. Sad my regular go to DD no longer there but the others always make you feel so welcomed.

Their customer service is great but the quality in product is questionable. I got my nails done and the next morning the polish bubbled and peeled. I called them and they fixed it but the curing light seemed cheap (mia secrete). I've never seen this machine before. They did fixed 3 fingers. I asked how much to change out all fingers and they said $10. I didn't know if it's the light or polish but I wasn't confident that it wouldn't happen again. Three days later my pinky finger bubbled but I didn't bother going back and today (12/10/17) the same thumb peeled again. Cheap quality. read more

I went yesterday to this place with my daughter. I have been there before and was happy with their friendly service, but yesterday I had an experience that I will never forget. My daughter was getting her nail done as I was getting a pedicure I couldn't see her treatment. But I was so saddened when my daughter showed me two places where she was cut and bled. And Salina told her don't tell your mom. I would of stopped her right there. I asked for a discount and after practically begging she said ok 2 $. Wow i was surprised by her unsympathetic response. I can't believe people can do this and think they can continue having a business. My daughter woke up this morning and her finger is swollen I will have to take her to doctor get a tetanus shot. I for sure do not recommend this place because of my experience. read more

I went to this place once before - 4 years ago to get shellac gel polish. One nail chipped the next day. I went back and had it fixed and the day after, another one chipped. Gel polish is not supposed to chip, it's not like regular polish! I had to come back again and the girl was getting irritated with me! With Me?! She didn't prep my nails properly and did a crappy job and she was mad at ME?!! Today I am back at this shop but for my daughter to get waxed by a lady who rents out a "room" in the back of the shop. We chose her because this is my daughter's first time waxing and she uses organic wax. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with the strong odor of chemicals. We stayed in there for 5 minutes before I started getting a headache and had to go outside for fresh air. I was so close to canceling and going somewhere else but my daughter said she would breathe into her arm. Wow they don't have ventilation and didn't open the door until we asked them to. Their customers are going to get cancer breathing in that stuff! We are never stepping back into that shop again. read more
