I feel terrible for not getting the name of the lady who did them but she was amazing. She took her time making sure they looked fantastic. I appreciate her attention to detail. Walked in without an appointment and they graciously seated us for a pedicure and manicure. Unfortunately, my manicurist was not up to par. She filed my short nails so violently that I had cuts on my fingers! She also cut the cuticle on my toe so deeply that it bled and still hurts 1 week later. Don't get a pedicure with Tammy I asked for a specific color and at first only added the clear glitter coat when the nail color I asked for was white with glitter. She then says yeah there's a white that goes underneath, assuming I would have wanted it differently that the color I asked for and what was in the nail color book? And she didn't clean up the edges only used her finger nail to clean it up as she went and you can see the polish on my skin. Terrible experience. read more

They cut me both times, and their prices are outrageous!! I paid $115 before tip for mani and pedi with gel. Give me a break. The 2nd time I came I took my mom for a late Mother's Day and they kept hovering and chatting foreign language and laughing in front of us. Which was really annoying also making it hard to relax. They cut me again which HURT way worse than the first time I went. Some of my nails came out crooked too. There was also a green spot on my pinky nail that wasn't there before I went the two weeks before. So I wonder if I got some fungus from them! Because before trying them out I had pink and white and it WAS NOT there. For my mom and myself- fills and pedi's with gel it was $240 for basic pedicures with callus... PLUS tip. There prices are pretty inflated. I don't think the quality is worth it at all. Especially when I leave with bleeding cuticles each time! They also had a fridge of drink and while we sat and waited they never offered anything. And I felt rushed. Be careful with their pricing. And watch your cuticles because they will saw them off with the mail tools. Then pour alcohol or acetone on it and it's like new day torture, leaving you with painful & possibly infected cuticles for the next week. Im currently looking for a new nail spot. I gave this one a spot twice based on a referral from a friend. But she said only a couple girls there are worth going to. I don't think I got either of those girls. read more

I have been coming here for years and they have obviously changed ownership. My last two pedicures have been terrible. "Massage" is basically rubbing lotion on your leg while watching the three minute timer run out. Workers are not friendly, pedicure was painful and I had to tell her several times she was hurting me. Cut my toenail too short and cut me. Three of the four people I came in contact with spoke zero English so I could not communicate with them at all. She was in a rush to put my shoes on, although there was nobody waiting, and ruined a nail and had to start over. Prices have gone up for less service, but that seems the same everywhere. At least they offer free drinks now including champagne, maybe if you are drunk you will be happy with the service. Added one star for the drinks even though I didn't have any. read more

Literally just moved to Morgan Hill and wanted to try out a nail salon so I went to Tina nails. They were really busy on a Friday and instead of listening when I asked if they would have enough time because I need to pick up my daughter by 3 PM, she said yeah yeah yeah we have enough time and then I waited 20 minutes and subsequently did not have enough time to get my nails done. They were so busy they shuffle people around instead of listening to what people are actually asking for. She still wanted to charge me to takeoff my nail polish even though they couldn't hold up to their end of the request which was to do my nails within the timeframe I needed them done so I can go pick up my daughter. I don't want to be rushed especially when I would've have been completely happy coming another day when it wasn't so busy. Then when I said I didn't feel like it was fair that I should have to pay when I waisted my time she was like "fine you don't have to pay in a rude tone" and they left my nails looking ridiculous. Its a miscommunication yes, but the way they handled it after was poor customer service. I'm tired of not speaking up when people have poor behavior. Do better and you'll retain your customers. Went here with my daughter for the first time today. I find charging a 10 year old $50 for a simple mani/pedi with a white flower is absurd! No kids pricing? Back to Vy-Vy who charges half the price for kids mani/pedi. They do a decent job, but they are not very personable. Walking in to the nail salon is not inviting, and you don't feel acknowledged. I should've let that be a red flag and left. read more

I've been coming to Tina nails for a couple of years now. The salon is nice and clean. I love that they have a large selection of OPI products. The massage chairs are very comfy. The workers are all very friendly, although some are harder to understand (predominantly Vietnamese workers). I usually get my eyebrows/lips waxed after my regular pedicure...KC is great. Cons: I don't like it when the workers start talking Vietnamese with each other (I find that disrespectful)...they should at least try their best to express themselves in English. I also sometimes get a whiff of whatever food they are warming up in the microwave which sometimes smells fishy (yuck!). read more

Last Friday I went in for a pedicure and full set and now have an infection in three of my toes when I've never had any problems before. It is painful to walk and I now need to go see a doctor. My full set was basic and took almost two hours with no design, just simple square. It was really cute inside but I would never go back again, hopefully no one else gets an infection! read more

I used to be a loyal customer and loved Tina's. Their customer service has definitely gone downhill. They also raised their prices and are not following their pricing menu. I got a pedicure which I thought was 20...as the menu they handed me said. And then my nails used to be 40, but they told me they raised it to 50. Which fine, they told me before I was charged. However when I went to the counter they said my total was 75...it should have been 70. My nails are missing color on the sides as well. I will not be coming back. read more

$35 for a gel manicure. Took off my polish by soaking my fingers in acetone. My hands are extremely dry now. Then filed them. Cut the cuticle. Polish and it was a nice experience. No massage. No lotion. No hand relaxation. Very old decor, nail polish is so old it is has separated in the display case. When I was shocked at the price and said it was expensive, at least 4 workers looked at me with sustain. ....and a little boy of a worker running wild. read more

I've been going to Tinas for a few years now and I will probably always go here! Any of the woman here do an amazing job but Michelle does amazing work for acrylics! They all actually care about your real nail and nail health so they won't file your nail down significantly and thin it out even when doing dip or acrylics or gel. Tina Nails has been my number one, go-to, nail salon for over 5 years. I can confidently walk in and have Kaci do my french manicures without mentioning what I need to have done. My nails are perfectly shaped and the gel manicures remain fresh looking until my next appointment. When it comes to the best leg massages, I go to Danny. Deep massages are my priority and after trying several places locally, Danny is the best. His deep massages are not for the faint of heart. I float out of the salon after a 1.5 hour session. I also get gel pedicures that stay fresh and shiny regardless of winter shoes or summer sandals. I try to book my appointments on weekday mornings or late in the day when the salon is less busy. Tina Nails can get quite busy towards the end of the week/weekend especially during the warmer months when groups of friends or wedding parties have reservations. Not sure why some of the other reviews were so negative. I only know that there are many familiar faces that are regular clients and I've always received courteous service. Prices are subjective but for me, the investment I make for my personal services at Tina Nails is small compared to the professional service and great look I receive from Kaci and Danny. read more

This place is very busy for a Thursday afternoon. My friends and I went in for 3 pedicures. The gentleman did my pedicure and I believe his name is Danny. He's very friendly with good customer service interaction. I can't say the same for the other ladies that work on my friends. I am pleased with my pedicure and so was my friend except for couple things pertaining to my other friend's pedicure. 1. My friend paid extra for one of the pedi package that supposedly come with hot stones that she did not get. 2. My friend had stars design on her toes that was painted on and looked amazing by the way. When my other friend asked her nail technician to do the same design, she instead put a paper stars on then applied top coat. My friends stars keep poking up because it was not glue or painted on. If the lady cannot do the same work as her coworker's designs then she should say so instead of bypassing with different techniques that failed. Now my friend stars pop up instead of flat and smooth. I'm not sure of coming back but if I do, I know who to ask for and make sure to be specific. read more

But Kayla, WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND just getting "the job" done. I went in to get a Sporty Pedicure and a basic manicure and she did such an excellent job! 1. She didn't push to sell anything else besides what I asked for. 2. She took her time. 3. She did great work. 4. She took care of me and made me feel as I was important. I've never felt it absolutely necessary to tip $10 on my nails but MAN I just had to with Kayla. I was that happy and satisfied. Unfortunately I don't come across a Kayla that often. They've done an excellent job in setting up a functional and clean and COVID regulation outdoor salon near the back. Those poor gals were working in nearly 100-degree heat (I think they closed early due to the extreme heat). I got a new set of pink and white nails from Lynn. She did a perfect job (and I'm picky)! And i always see Kacy when getting any type of manicure! And she does the best designs as well! Overall this salon is simply okay. The staff was very friendly. However, the selection was nothing impressive, and many options are not available. When I picked my gel nail color, I was told it was not available. I asked for the next closest color, but they simply had me go through all the colors again. I then picked out two options and said one was my first choice and if that was also out, the other was my next choice. The woman helping me was very confused by this. Overall the manicure was okay in quality. As for the quality of the pedicure it was very poor. It smudged as soon as they put on my flip flops. They fixed it, but the pedicure didn't even last a week. For $50 this is pretty crazy, as the place I normally go to in san jose lasts a month at half the price. I was really hoping to find a good place in Morgan hill, but so far no luck. I would however recommend this over tip n toe anytime. read more
