Came here because the reviews were so high but they must have had an extreme off day. The technician filed my nails so extremely thin and the nails already fell off. They hurt under hot water because they're so bendy and thin. The French also looked terrible and I had to tell her after every nail that it looked bad and she never fixed it. Also look at what happened to my nail. I do not recommend at all. The monomer also smelled rancid and a lot worse than usual. She also didn't even ask me what color I wanted my base nail, I had to tell her after she tried putting on a random color it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted gel x and she did acrylic instead but she said it was too late to swap it. Too much wrong with this place. read more

If you're looking for a great service in price, then of course, but just watch when you get your nails painted because the girl that did mine last time did not even do the second coat and all of mine chipped within a day and a half, but other than that, the pedicure was amazing read more

I called the day off an made an appointment for about an hour later and they were able to accommodate me. I came in for a fill, shape change and pedicure. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this QV Nail Spa, and I was truly impressed with the experience. The spa is located in a shopping plaza in Gilroy area, and the interior is beautifully decorated with calming colors, soft chandelier lighting, and super clean environment. Their staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Recommended place if you want to relax and not feel rushed! I usually choose the signature pedicure and they really take time doing the service. They even use timers to make sure when they do the relaxing foot/calf massage/hot stone. read more

These ladies are always so pleasant and friendly. They always make me feel like I really treated myself when I go in. They have lovely signature pedicures with all the bells and whistles, hot stones, hot towels, scrubs, moisturizing massage, one billion nail colors. They always offer a nice beverage, this time I had Vietnamese coffee, delicious. The atmosphere is elegant and the massage chairs wonderful. I've been at least 6 times now and very happy every time. UPDATE: my grandma and I have been coming here ever since my first review (3 times since). We've not only befriended Sophie and Nancy, but have had such a wonderful time with every tech we get here. Today, I went in for my birthday nails and pedicure. A new woman did my mani and another new one did my pedi. The pedicure was the most relaxing one I've gotten, as my tech was super gentle yet thorough--the massage was EVERYTHING. And my nail tech was super detail oriented and even helped me and advised me on which nail design would be better for me--I just wish I'd gotten their names! Both were lovely, and I'm SO happy that I get to celebrate my 21st birthday with these nails! read more

I went in yesterday for the first time, as I event a pretty big life event coming up, I was looking to get my nails ( which is Will be in a lot of pictures ) done and ready to go. I opted for the classic pedicure with gel polish; I absolutely loooove my pedicure she did such a great job !!!! For the Manucure thou we didn't get that lucky, the girl who did my nails, filed my nails all crooked I insisted she let me file them and attempt to damage control after she over cut my cuticles and some of my skin off; today my fingers are really sensitive and trying to heal the best they can. I have never given 5 starts to a nail salon, especially one I went to for the first time. QV Nail took me as a walk in at 12:30 pm. They were easy to communicate with, friendly, and welcoming. I honestly felt comfortable there. I felt no pressure when it came to paying, as allot of nail salons make you feel uncomfortable when it comes to paying and your monies of choice. This is was my first time at this salon and I am impressed. From first walking in they are all super nice! Nail salons aren't known for their customer service but this is one is pretty awesome that they make this as priority. Super clean and beautifully decorated. I got a pedicure with Monica and she took her time and was not rushing. I am sure making an appointment is preferred so they can give you a better service. I always get in grown nails on my big toes and it never fails all nail salons have made me bleed, not here! So gentle while doing the job diligently! The timed massage, the best! I will come back with Kim for a full set soon! From reviews I hear she's the best! In addition, the small talking in their language is appreciated. Love the music! My new go to salon here in town! I got acrylics and my nails turned out great! But some things are that they literally pop off your nails with a spare nail tip, which if you are educated, you should no that doing that to nails is NOT okay. It damages your nail bed by ripping the layers off. Second thing is that the lady doing my nails while shaving my nails, also did the same to the skin on my finger. It hurt only a bit so I thought nothing of It. Other than that, they were very nice and welcoming, they also serve drinks. I can't lie I did notice something off about the cup used for my drink. When I took a sip it left a sour taste on my lips, when I got home I checked my cup and there was a lining around the cup. After thinking over these things, they're not THAT bad, they did amazing on my nails! read more

Well I think I found my go to nail salon!!! I recently moved to the area and some of the salons I have visit did an ok job but you were just another person to them. I decided to give this salon a try and wow was I impressed!! The salon was very nice and clean. I did a walk in and they took me right away. I acquired for a full set. I explain to Thao that in my line I work my hands take a beating everyday and I don't want long nails but just love the look of having my nails done. I also told her what products work best on my nails, since I had a regular manicurist that I seen in my old town. She was very attentive and listen to my request and was fantastic in giving me what I wanted. I will continue coming here and having her do my nails. Great job! Would recommended! It's been a long, long time since I had a mani/pedi and wow did I pick the best salon to get back to self care! Excellent customer service, I mean all the staff introduced themselves, asked my name and repeatedly welcomed me as it was my first time! Coffee, water, margaritas (!) were offered and overall it was just so nice to be pampered, I felt very rejuvenated afterwards. She did not properly layer the polish and rushed through the service. I was told that regular polish takes longer to dry and that I should have chosen gel instead. Despite paying $45, my nails never fully dried. By the time I left, they were clumpy, smudged, and ruined. I asked multiple times for assistance or a solution, but no one helped or attempted to fix the issue. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disappointing. I am never coming back here again.

I had to stop her and ask her to clean the sides of my toenails, especially my big toes, and she refused, saying it could cause infection. I've had plenty of pedicures before and know what a proper cleaning is. What she did was the bare minimum basically just cutting my nails. (I could have done this at home) She barely touched one side of one toe and then told me to "clean it at home." That's honestly ridiculous. Why am I paying for a service just to be told to finish it myself? What made it worse is this is NOT the first time this has happened with the same technician. Months ago, I asked for the same thing and she actually stopped mid-pedicure, left, and came back with a waiver for me to sign saying I'd be responsible for any infection. I gave her the benefit of the doubt this time thinking it was a one-time issue, but clearly it's not. This time, instead of a waiver, she took a picture of my toes with no explanation and NO PERMISSION, which was extremely weird and uncomfortable. On top of everything, the callus removal was uneven one foot was done more than the other. The entire service felt rushed, careless, and dismissive. Being skipped, rushed, refused basic service, told to finish the job at home, and having photos taken without explanation is not okay especially when I'm paying for the service. I will not be returning. TAO, handle your employees because this is one of the reasons you're loosing costumers.

My friend finished hers and the color is cute but she thinks she'll get an ingrown toenail from the way the nail tech dug at her nails. Seems like they treat their regular walk ins well.

When the technician, Tony, told me to sit at his station, I politely declined and said I was happy to wait for a different technician. Instead of handling this professionally, Tony became incredibly hostile. He shushed me multiple times and told me I could either leave or come back another day because "nobody else" would help me. When I asked why he was being rude, he slammed his desk and began yelling, claiming I wasn't "giving him an opportunity." I have given him opportunities in the past and simply do not care for his work--which is my right as a paying customer. He continued to shush me and speak about me in another language in front of the entire salon, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. While the other two technicians were kind enough to apologize for his behavior and offer to help me, the damage was already done. Being treated with such aggression and disrespect after five years of coming here is unacceptable. No customer should be shushed or yelled at for expressing a preference. I'm deeply disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.
