SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ONE STAR is too much. If I could give zero that would be great. I went in with two friends for pedicures and we were seated in chairs 4, 5, and 6. I was in chair #4 and somehow got skipped while two technicians started working on my friends first. I waited about 30 minutes before anyone even came to me. When the technician finally came (short hair, usually at the front greeting customers), she rushed through my pedicure. In less than 20 minutes, she said she was done cleaning my nails and ready to paint. Meanwhile, my friends weren't even close to being done yet that's how rushed my entire service was. I had to stop her and ask her to clean the sides of my toenails, especially my big toes, and she refused, saying it could cause infection. I've had plenty of pedicures before and know what a proper cleaning is. What she did was the bare minimum basically just cutting my nails. (I could have done this at home) She barely touched one side of one toe and then told me to "clean it at home." That's honestly ridiculous. Why am I paying for a service just to be told to finish it myself? What made it worse is this is NOT the first time this has happened with the same technician. Months ago, I asked for the same thing and she actually stopped mid-pedicure, left, and came back with a waiver for me to sign saying I'd be responsible for any infection. I gave her the benefit of the doubt this time thinking it was a one-time issue, but clearly it's not. This time, instead of a waiver, she took a picture of my toes with no explanation and NO PERMISSION, which was extremely weird and uncomfortable. On top of everything, the callus removal was uneven one foot was done more than the other. The entire service felt rushed, careless, and dismissive. Being skipped, rushed, refused basic service, told to finish the job at home, and having photos taken without explanation is not okay especially when I'm paying for the service. I told her that filing is usually included in a fill service, especially when it's only about 2.5 weeks of growth. What bothered me most is that they did not honor the price they quoted me on the phone. If the actual price was going to be $65, they should have clearly communicated that before I came in instead of surprising me at checkout. I was a walk in, had some time to kill. I chose the basic $45, with gel was $55, pricier than the one in Morgan Hill where I normally go but it's another 10 minutes drive for me. The woman who did my nails had a mask on, didn't introduce herself, hardly could understand her. I didn't get a good vibe with her. She didn't even apply whatever she was applying to my left foot; you'd think she does exactly the same thing to both feet. From the time I got here till the time the girl finished with my pedicure, it was 2 hours (just for pedicure). This is ridiculous. I could of went somewhere else and got both my nails and my pedicure for that amount of time. I felt like the lady that did my pedicure did not do her job right like the package that I got came with a 6 minute massage, I got less than that. The only reason I'm giving one star is because it's required to leave a review. I've been here before with no incident, but today I was in the middle of a signature pedicure when the tech hurt my small toe. I don't know what it was that she did but she was using a small abrasive tool meant for calluses. It started to sting so I took my foot out of the water and it just continued to get worse, so I stopped the service. The business insisted on charging me $40 and wouldn't let me go. I got them down to $35 so I paid and left, but the pain got a little worse. I went back and told them and asked for my money back. They refused, the owner came down to the store, and they all agreed that my feet looked fine because to their mentality, if it doesn't look injured or isn't bleeding, it shouldn't hurt. But it did. The owner insisted that they worked hard there, but they had a hard time, grasping the fact that when you injured someone, you shouldn't charge them even if you had already done some of the work. In the end, they refunded me, but also gave me a big lecture. One of the techs took a picture of my nails on her phone so here's hoping they don't go selling it on some weirdo foot fetish site. They were acting like I was trying to get away with something, but all I wanted was a nice pedicure just before my birthday now I won't be able to do that because I don't want to put any nail polish on my small toe and I don't want to do all the other toes without it. I went to get a fill& the lady never asked me if I wanted them cut she filed them all the way down short & then asked me if it was okay. Came here for the first time this past Saturday at 6:30pm. An hour before closing but they still agreed to see me for a full set, pedi & eyebrow wax. Nancy was my nail tech. And she was great. She shaped my nails perfectly- listened to my input & they came out exactly how I wanted. She even was able to squeeze me in for my pedi even tho it was getting late and she didn't make me feel rushed at all. The place was very clean and bright which I enjoyed. I have been coming to this nail salon for years and I have never been treated so poorly as I was yesterday. As many of the customers know you get a text shortly after you leave asking for feedback from you and unfortunately after giving them not so favorable feedback about the 2nd bad experience I have had with their nail technician Natalie (she uses table 6) I got a phone call from the owner bullying me because I put in writing that I had a bad experience. Mind you this feedback does not go on any public profiles but only directly to the owners. I have been going to this nail salon for roughly 6 years (mind you that is 72 visits if you go once a month) and out of all the times I have gone this is only the second time I have said I had a bad experience. I did not cause I scene in their salon and even tipped her even though I wasn't happy with the experience that took place. Then once polish was dry I realized the lengths of nails were different and some were long enough and sharp on corners and were snagging on socks and sheets. It wasn't bad overall. I have never written a Yelp review - if I have a bad experience I just won't go back somewhere. This though, is the WORST manicure I've ever had in my life and I felt that I needed to say something. I choose color 5 (my nail is definitely not that color but the nail tech told me that it was). My nails are not at all any matching shape, they are painted TERRIBLY, no base coat was used. I asked multiple times to fix things but the nail tech wasn't listening to me. On the way out I paid and the gentleman at the front saw my nails and pulled my hand forward to look at them because he knew they were not up to standard. Mind you, i understand it isnt the easiest design but aside from one or two nails being exactly spot on, it was the rest of the nails that signaled they just wanted to hurry up and close up shop. The nail tech who did the application, i had to ask her to build an apex because they were so thin, id have to go in and get them fixed in less than a week because the nail didnt have the required structure for the length. Aside from multiple violations they probably get cited for from state board (never even once saw a clean drill bit) but they left me with a bunch of crusted acrylic on my skin. Had an appointment this morning at 9:15 this morning. I was not seen until approximately 9:40. While other clients that had appointments that were scheduled after mine were seen first. Started with a pedicure which was good. The woman who did my pedicure was gentle and made sure things were done correctly. A different woman did my manicure. Before I said she told me to wait and walked away to speak to another technician. She then started on my cuticles and cut me various times on 4 fingers. She told me my fingers were bleeding, because my cuticles were dry. She proceeded to continue to cut around the areas that were already bleeding and in pain. She was rough and seemed rushed. (They were slightly busy, but still). By the time I left the appointment it was 11:30. Overall good review for the pedicure. Bad for manicure. I recently received a full set by Natalie @ station #2 and she was incredibly rude and impatient. She left my nails looking very sloppy with nail polish on pretty much all of my fingers. The way she spoke to me was very rude and unprofessional. She made me feel as though she did not even want to do my nails. I been here several time each time disappointed with the wait time. Today i waited one hour to be sitted in the pedicure chair and an extra 40 minutes sitting in the chair waiting for a nail tech. This makes me not relax or enjoy my pedicure. Unless u can get here at 8:50 when salon opens at 9 expect long wait times. On a separate occasion, i brought my kids for their mani and pedi.
