My favorite time to come here is Fall through the holiday season when they have items that smell like pumpkin and sugar cookie. This is a nice store over at Tempe Marketplace. I picked up some Mandalorian lotion for the recent Star Wars movie promotion not long ago.

I recently came across their candle sale and decided to purchase these single-wick candles despite being a three-wick candle girlie. I would have loved to have been able to purchase the Cherry Almond Shortbread candle as a three-wick, but they only had the single-wick. Oh well. I also had gotten the Candy Apple Cauldron candle and the Caramel Pumpkin Swirl. It's a vibe of soft lighting in my living room, and I love it. Regardless, this Bath & Body Works is nice! It has large windows for natural lighting, two sinks to wash your hands and test their products, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love this location!

Never heard this before. Gave me an attitude about it was, very rude. Called another store and asked if they would take my out of state license and had no issue but for some reason at that this location there was one. I told her about the other location and my experience that I had she said oh yeah, they have quite a reputation for acting like that. I've been in the hair industry, my whole life and had my license for five years. Never have had this issue happen in any other places except for here.

Everyone was just so nice to talk to and seemed very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. Will definitely go back!

Shopped here several times over 2 years and the experience is worse with each visit. This is mostly…read morethe fault of the owner (an older Viet gentleman who's almost always there). No prices displayed anywhere because he'll change them based on who's purchasing. He charged someone in front of me $1 for a dappen dish, then told me it cost $5. This has happened more than once with different items; and if you ask local techs, they'll likely have similar stories. If you ask for prices as you shop (which means constantly returning to the checkout counter), he makes it clear that you're bothering him. He doesn't want you to open any polish bottles, but most of their swatch books (also at the counter) have only 1/4 of the colors that they're actually selling. They don't have displays/testers for those missing swatches either. You're forced to just look at bottles and hope for the best while he monitors every move you make from the counter. There's an inconsistently enforced "no large bags" policy with no standard for what "large" means. I used the same bag for 6+ months that's only big enough to hold an iphone and keys. Some days I was allowed to bring it in and other days I wasn't. Meanwhile, other shoppers arrived with larger totes and he didn't bat an eye. You'd have to be willfully ignorant to assume the best case scenario here; that the owner treats customers based on his mood. Sadly, the obvious trend is more malicious: the owner engages with customers and adjusts prices based on ethnicity. If you're not Vietnamese, you're probably in for an uncomfortable and expensive shopping trip. It's a real shame because the rest of the staff (noticeably younger folks) is welcoming, friendly, and helpful! But I just can't recommend this supply in good conscience knowing that most people will feel discriminated against. The large stock just isn't worth it. Don't shop here unless you're in a life or death scenario (so....never).

Ok, so I really wanted to like this place for all the reasons stated in prior reviews - however,…read morehere are some negatives. 1. When we first got there (weekday afternoon), the door was locked - even though on the website it said they were open. We were bummed out because really looking forward to checking the place out. So I googled the phone number and called. Oscar answered and said he was there and had locked the door because he was in the restroom. I can't image how much other foot traffic could be lost in this situation? 2. The door to the "office" was open and in full view and it looked like a mess, almost as if someone lived in there. 3. The floor in the store was disgustingly dirty. We had let my friend's baby down in the floor for a few minutes to crawl and play with Oscar's dog. When we picked her up, her palms and feet were black. I wonder when the last time is that they mopped the floor? 4. Oscar looked like he had just gotten done playing a basketball game, very unprofessional. 5. They were out of almost everything we asked for. And we don't think Oscar enough knowledge about the products themselves. 6. When my friend asked him if she could be added to the database, he handed her a card and told her she could do it herself.

A short but sweet review is that Lather makes wonderful products that are naturally based and have the functionality & quality you'd expect from other high end product lines but using ingredient lists you can feel good about and trust. I absolutely love this brand and will continue to be a customer, as I've tried almost all of the products they make and we are lucky in AZ to have a brick and mortar location since there aren't many. I also purchase products online from them when I don't have time to stop in the store. Their loyalty program is really great with accumulating points that translate to discounts on purchases and special VIP sale events. I love the smell of the products and when you step into the storefront it's beautifully set up and smells very nice.
