The store was clean and everything labeled well to tell you not only what was in everything, but samples to see if it's for you. Great store! I literally love coming here because I am addicted to their bath bombs! I could spend hours in here smelling all of the different types. I also love using the coffee mask and the mint mask as an exfoliator and they have a longer shelf life than the fresh masks. If you do bring in five of the black containers you get a free fresh mask or five dollars off! So this time I tried the berry fresh mask and it smells so good! I recommend trying this place out if you love bath bombs and it's a great place to find a gift for others as well. I had never been to this specific Lush location before and strolled in on a Saturday, not really looking to buy anything in particular. They have a decent selection of bath bombs and bath bars (one of the employees did a little demo for us) and a nice range of shampoo and conditioner bars, and masks. Barely a minute after I walked in I had a sales lady come up to me and ask if I was looking for anything specific, I told her that I was not really looking for anything in particular, just looking around. I assumed she would leave, but she stood there and talked about the various products they offered, and then took us to the other side of the store to do a demo for us and showed us bath bombs and then asked us which ones we wanted (I wasn't looking to buy anything that day, but would have if something really caught my fancy). I said I was not sure (I don't like to make impulse buys), she came back once or twice a few minutes later to ask us which bath bombs we selected and proceeded to tell us about her life. I am a fairly patient person but this was getting a bit annoying,. I understand that they have to be friendly but honestly, leave the customer alone. To cut a long story short, I went in just to browse around for a few minutes, ended up being talked to for about 30 minutes by all 4 employees in the store, who told me about their hopes and dreams, so I decided to just buy a bath bomb so they would leave me alone (one of the employees managed to stop me before I even got in the checkout line to try to sell me another product, and then started talking about herself and her college life, nice girl but I am really just looking to leave). They can help you find something for any issue you're having. They also have the bath bombs which is one of my favorite Lush products. But with that comes a significantly lighter wallet. Help me. I love everything about this shop. The sales people are always so stinkin' sweet and they let me play and touch everything. Always quick with product selection and are walking product-know-it-alls, they recommend some of the best items ever without being pushy. We all know what I mean: those sales rep that scare you into buying their goods... it doesn't happen here! It's a spacious shop with lots of goodies and it's always an exciting and divine-smelling trip. Where else will a friendly face offer you a facial or hand massage while scrubbing some dead skin off you? I love their bubble bars [Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds ultimate fave], their Dream Cream, the Popcorn Lip Scrub, Floating Island body melt, It Started with a Kiss lip stain, Honey I Washed The Kids soap, the limited edition Rose Jam shower gel, et cetera. Luckily, my love buys bath bombs for me frequently as surprises, so I've managed to try nearly a dozen varieties, both standards (Sex Bomb) and seasonal. My favorites are the ones with flowers and/or glitter that disperse amongst the skin softening, dreamy scented water. The workers in this location are super friendly, not at all pushy, and even made Scott feel comfortable walking in months ago with 0 idea what in the blue hell a "bath bomb" was...Samples and demos are freely offered, the products are top notch, cruelty free, and organic. Just walking past this shop you smell so many different varieties! They always have super cute displays and they have so many packages open for you to try out. Everyone working is always smiling, they also are all very helpful and never pushy! (My favorite) I usually don't get anything unless it's for my sister, but I do have a bath bomb that I cannot wait to try out!! I used to love Lush but now it is more of a love/hate relationship. I love they way their products smell and work and the enthusiasm of their staff. However, sometimes the staff can be overwhelming or busy talking amongst themselves and not helpful at all. It's kind of hit and miss. Also for a place that pushes how natural they are (and expensive): Why aren't they organic? Why do they still use parabens in some (about 30% of their) products? I just wish that as forward as they are, that they would still find better alternatives so until then I'll just drop down my usage. read more

I also purchased a night time bath bomb. These things are great if you want a hot, relaxing bath after a long stressful day. I am so incredibly impressed with their customer service. I came in today to grab a few things and by the end of my shopping experience I felt like they were already my friends. So incredibly nice and welcoming, I love that someone is always there to greet you and make sure you are taken care of. I visited your store a couple days ago not really knowing what I wanted but knowing what I wanted to accomplish. I was looking for something that would be relaxing because I have been so stressed about the holidays. After being asked a hundred times if I needed help, the sweetest girl helped me. She was more personable to me. She listened to my needs and educated me on the effects of lavender. I purchased several things from twilight bath bomb to sleepy body lotion to my new favorite lip scrub. I think she said her name was Kelly (she had brown hair and glasses). I was surprised to see my favorite place with 4 stars!? Really!!? I have to say Lush products have changed my life. Not kidding! In fact. I'm obsessed,addicted and it's real lol! I received a couple of bath bombs for Christmas last year. I tried one and I was hooked. First time! Literally calmed me down, decreased my stress and my pain was gone. I'm a busy lady. I also have a stressful life. This is my go to. There are sometimes I soak in the bath a few times a day to get me feeling better. I was shocked at the price of each bomb. They go from 6-12$ a piece. I don't care! I've even tried making my own to save money. Not the same. The scents, the oils they use are healing and I'll buy till I die. When I go to Lush at the mall they know me by name and have my stuff ready to go. I invest about 200 a month to my bombs. Gentlemen out there. Note* this seems a little extreme but if your woman is stressed out or beat down etc. This is the key! You will gladly pay to have the change :). I love all the products. My biggest one for pain is the Big Blue. It has seaweed in it. Very therapeutic! My favorite for.the scent is Sakura. It's Japanese cherry blossom! I LOVE LUSH! My favorite is the Dragon's Egg bath bomb. Smells magical, and also creates a fantastic colorful show in your bathtub. The staff here is always so friendly, and very enthusiastic about what they do. If you go in, expect that the staff will interact with you. Honestly, usually when I go out, I slink past the employees because I don't want to talk to them. However, if you were to just go into Lush and not be given an explanation, you would not be able to know all of the benefits of the product. Each individual product has so many unique components, and are actually quite fun to learn about. What I like about Lush is that the staff actually cares about their product, and they actually are so excited about it. What's not to like at the shop? I was in a hurry and stopped in for some shampoo bars. I asked the employee if she could help me and she did, as well as informed me on the best product for my needs. Everything smells so good, I love that they don't test on animals, the products are such great quality and last a very long time. Great store that has plenty of things that I regularly use. Most of the products are expensive but last me a very long time. The problem for me is that everything looks the same and since they last me a while I don't have to go in super often. The staff at this location seemed like their last concern was helping me find what I needed as I was ignored for several minutes. Maybe in the future I'll just order what I need online. I have been debating on how many stars to give Lush, because I can't decide if the problem is with the store or if it's with me. Probably a little of both. Generally speaking, I do not enjoy shopping, but after recommendations from so many friends I decided to give Lush a go. My conclusion: I don't think Lush is going to be my kind of store. The employees would not leave me alone when I just wanted to look around for literally two minutes. And all four of them that I dealt with wanted to give me their life stories, their likes and dislikes, and a spiel about how their products are vegan/handmade/from outer space. I kind of stopped listening after the first minute. I just wanted to buy my thing! Also, one of them called me a "first time Lushie" and that made me vaguely uncomfortable. And they kept touching me, which made me really uncomfortable. The employees, while clearly enthusiastic about the products, also clearly can't read a customer's body language. If I jerk back every time you try to touch my arm or shoulder, stop trying to touch me. If I keep taking steps back and you keep stepping forward into my personal space, it's a problem. I did buy a solid perfume and it's a nice product, but if I want to purchase it again (or anything else) I will do so online. read more

If you are going to charge what you charge for soap at least have some manners. I opened up and smelled a product, my daughter did the same and out of nowhere the "manager" (so she said) came out and made a scene about how they can't sell it and that she would bring me a tester (which was NOT with the product), she then proceeded to talk about the "incident" with her employees while looking at us. I was going to let it pass and make my purchase but I just could not allow them to make me feel like a criminal for smelling a non-tester. I asked the "manager" if she was speaking to the other employee about it in which she denied until I suggested I go speak to that employee about it and at that point she semi admitted speaking about it. You weren't discreet, you weren't polite and you lost a sale. I understand the ethics of the company which is why this is such a bother to me. A reality check is much needed. read more

I stopped by the Lush at Chandler Mall after a really long day to get a much needed face mask (Mask of Magnaminty) and I ran into the most wonderful lush staff ever. Jasmine, Day, Miranda, and Presley (at least one of these names is misspelled lol) were so nice, welcoming, and incredibly helpful! I didn't even KNOW Lush had hair care until they showed me (got a sample of the Damaged Hair Oil)! They actually invited me to have MORE samples (that's never happened before)!! I usually go to the Lush at Scottsdale Mall bc it's closer but I'll literally drive 10 more miles just to talk to their staff!! They literally made my day!! read more

She was super knowledgeable about all of the products and even gave us a brief history of the company. She was also very patient with us in helping make our decisions. Super helpful when there's so many choices! We ended up getting more than we initially were coming in for, the Sex Bomb bathbomb, Cup of Coffee mask, shampoo bar, and a face and body wash. This store is AMAZING! Everyone there is so friendly and social. If you're the type of person who starts conversations with people then the staff is for you. First time actually going in to Lush tonight and finally having the time to purchase some stuff. I had the sales girl, Maddy, very sweet and kind, even asked I was allergic or have sensitivity to any thing. She was patient and knowledgeable. I spent way more then I anticipated. My original plan was to buy the lip balm and maybe like two bath bombs. Nuupe. Overall five stars, the only complaints I have are small minor things. I don't know if it's this Lush or all but considering I spent $66 bucks, I sort of expected a better bag and packaging. The bar was wrapped in paper but the bath bombs weren't, they were all put in a plastic Thank You bag, by the time I got home, the bath bombs rubbed all over the other stuff and small pieces came undone. It wasn't a big deal but as I said, that would be my only complaint. Also, I went looking at the lower ratings for the reviews of this place. It sounds like a lot of easily irritable people went shopping and didn't like anything, rather it was too pushy staff or not enough attention. Lol. Can't win them all. Saw one about the music, it is a bit loud but I liked the type of music so I was okay with it. We have always had a positive experience at this Lush. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful and clearly use and believe in their products. The store itself can be overwhelming with so many things on display and if you aren't really sure where to start you can find yourself just standing there and staring. But worry not...as one of those friendly and helpful employees will spot your deer-in-the-headlights look and come to your rescue. They will explain everything and anything and even let you test what you may have interest in. My daughter loves this store and drags me in every time we are in the mall.
