If I could give zero stars, I would. My original review and all of my friends' reviews were taken down, and we all wrote them for the same reason. Lumme was horrible.
We arrived, and Lumme seemed great at first, but we noticed that the workers were encouraging us to play with the squishies and knickknacks they had on display, as they were left out. That was the first red flag, but we moved on.
The second red flag was that when all the poor little 10-year-old girls were done doing their crafts, the workers would refuse us food--not until the kids cleaned, and yes, they were even given brooms like, hello? Even though most of the kids were begging for food. Me and my best friend took the pizza box and fed the kids, as it was the only right thing to do. As I was doing this, I sensed something changed.
When the kids would talk to the workers (especially this boy and three girls), they would reply with one-word answers and attitude, and soon the party went from a girl party to a party from hell.
The workers kept accusing the kids, and even me, of stealing, also saying things like, "you're going to pay." My best friend (the birthday girl's mother) let it go because, okay, if a couple of kids put a $0.50 charm that was on the verge of breaking into their bags, then fine--I'll pay, what, $10?
At the end of the party, me, my best friend, my daughter, and four of her friends (one was the birthday girl), and one of the girls' brothers, and my best friend (we'll call her T) were about to pay. She paid, and as we were about to leave, the mean, rude guy who was threatening our little children said, "Wait, one more bill." Turns out it was a $10,000 bill to cover the costs of what the children "stole."
Annoyed, we asked for security footage, and they refused. After arguing back and forth, T's husband had to get out of the car with a broken leg and come speak with this man. I wish I remembered more details because if I did, no one would go near this place again.
They started threatening to call the police. But if you're going to accuse us of something, give us proof. Most of the girls at the party bought over $100 worth of merchandise, squishies, and Labubu clothes from them. Last time I checked, that's not called stealing.
Eventually the owner came, and long story short, they made us pay, and we were forced to leave with a significant service fee. It ruined a girl's birthday. DO NOT COME HERE. read more
