Finished profit of our Polaroid diy!

First time coming here, my boyfriend surprised me for a date! Staff was nice, amazing, gave clear instructions & did not feel rushed at all. They have many variations of charms & many good selection of items to DIY. Many colors of piping glue as well! Charms & piping glues are unlimited! You just pay for the item you choose! Def will come back!

Lots of charm options to choose.

My daughter and I loved this place! We had a lot of fun picking out accessories and creating our Moro dolls.

I dashed into Lumee to put together a last-minute birthday gift for a tween girl and it was more than I could have dreamed of and more. They have items that you customize with charms and colored glue. We picked a mirror and were given a little basket. We could pick two colors of glue and pick out 15 charms. They have lots of little drawers filled with charms. When we checked out, the cashier included extra charms for free. I think she was paying attention to the color theme because she included charms in the same color family (blue). They have lots of little tables where you can decorate items on-site like a fun activity. As mentioned, I purchased this as a gift for a tween girl, but to my surprise, all of the patrons in the store at the time of my visit, and later visits, have been primarily adults who are looking for a crafty activity or a cute date-night. Thought I did pass by one-time and see a kids birthday party so it's really fun for all ages. Lumee has a second location in Pasadena where you can tuft rugs or make squishies (I think). The items are not cheap but they are adorable.

This was such a unique and fun activity! My friends and I did the decoden/frosting glue activity and there's a lot of mini items to choose from. Service was friendly amd helpful. This would be a great date or small group activity!

Amazing experience! Was able to use as many charms and foam. There was plenty of time to do my project. Everything was explained before we djd our project.

We had such a great experience at Lumee! My daughter absolutely loved making her Moro doll--she had so much fun from start to finish. The staff was friendly, patient, and made the whole process feel really special. The accessories and clothing options are adorable, and she enjoyed picking out every little detail to make her doll unique. The shop is cute, organized, and really welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer just to look around. We'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Lumee to anyone looking for a memorable experience for their kids (or even adults!). Thank you for giving us such a wonderful visit!

My daughter had her ninth birthday here and it was so lovely! I wasn't sure what to expect with 20+ little kids doing this type of craft, but they all made the most special treasures and had the time of their lives. The people working at Lumee are so sweet and helpful! We had been to the shop a couple weeks before and mentioned that my daughter loves capybaras and hoped there would be some capybara charms at her party - they had a whole section of capybara charms for her! They also gave her the cutest little birthday clip. Made her and all her friends feel very special. 10/10!!

Meet Brittany!!! I totally had fun creating her!!! Its a great concept for girlfriends day!!!

I had so much fun indulging my inner child here making a super cute phone Xavier!! So many choices in charms. Plenty of room to play. And they have me a little gift for my birthday. Whole heartedly recommend Lumee Pasadena!

Cool place! Went here to celebrate our daughter's birthday with her best friends. They got to design their own purse. Friendly staff and well organized. They have alot of charms to choose from and stuff to design (bags, clock, phone cases, etc). Place is located in cool area of Pasadena with private parking and plenty cool shops/ restaurants nearby.

Unlimited charms?! SAY LESS! The cutest charms and the cutest variety of accessories to design!

I wish there were similar stores in San Diego as well. It feels like it would be difficult to find a specific thing that you had in mind, but if you're open to being inspired by what's about, this is an excellent place to start. I pulled out my phone and time said 5:53 pm and the store closes at 6pm. Maybe if the staff shopped at a TJMaxx or a Target they would learn how to make the announcement with much more finesse. I did see a few women in the store do exactly as she asked...they stopped shopping, left their baskets full of items, and walked out. As I was headed out I was in a conversation with another employee as one customer was still paying. Next thing I know behind me another employee grabbed me by my shoulder to usher me out because she had to "lock the door now." Rule #1. Don't ever, ever touch a customer. I calmly left thinking I would never hire these employees...but I would recommended them to a competitor. I did not realize Remainders operates as a non-profit organization that doesn't need customers or revenue. I will patronize other small businesses and donate our corporate items to them instead.

Initial Impression: I have heard of Lumee before due to its previous locations, but I never had the chance to visit. I just so happened to have extra time in Pasadena so couldn't resist stopping in. This shop in Arcade Lane opened recently and it is situated in a cozy area near Urth Cafe. It is bright, colorful, and hard to miss. The perfect place to draw in lovers of all things Kawaii. Service: the shops man is the absolute sweetest and not only took time to explain the concept of the shop, but he also showed all the artwork and some of his own work! The Mahjong bag is so impressive! Lumee offers tufting for carpets and supplies the tools. They also offer decoden cases, trinkets, hair clips, bags, and more! We each found images of what we wanted to create online and were able to trace it onto the canvas. Since it was our first time, we all opted for the small canvas but in retrospect, maybe the medium size would've been easier as the tufting gun is harder to maneuver in smaller sections. The staff was very helpful in providing instructions and staying close by as we worked on our projects. Once we were done, we left our mini rugs to be picked up another day since the staff would put the backing on for us and clean up any loose ends and such. Definitely looking forward to coming back and making an even bigger piece!

What really sets this shop apart, though, is Christina. She is truly the heart of the place. She's warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an all-around joy to be around. She can help you design something custom, guide you through making it yourself, or even create it for you. And if you need repairs, she's amazing at that too. They also offer classes, which is such a great touch--I took one on making bracelets and it was such a fun experience. What a cool thing to be able to do locally. Honestly, I never thought I'd say this, but I actually look forward to needing repairs--because it means I get to come back and see Christina. She makes every visit feel personal and fun, and you always leave in a better mood than when you walked in. Such a wonderful shop with a truly special owner. Highly recommend checking it out.

The class was scheduled for 2 hours. We ended an hour early with an end product that was a bit underwhelming. Our instructor was friendly enough, though never introduced herself nor took the time to ask the class (all 3 of us) our names. I wrote a letter to the owner and never got a response back. Highly unlikely I will return. Below is the letter I sent, including a few other underwhelming aspects to the class: "Hello! I took last evening's Macrame Weaving workshop. As I was driving back to Long Beach last evening after the class, I had some time to reflect on the workshop. I signed up for it to learn a new skill that I could potentially teach my students. (I've been an Art Teacher for many years). Unfortunately, I feel very disappointed with the class as a whole, as well as with our end result product. I believe the owner was there last evening; I regret not having pulled her aside to chat, though I wasn't quite clear on how I felt about the class until I was on my ride home. Our instructor was very friendly and I so appreciate the use of the high quality organic cotton cord. I also appreciated the hand out with the images of various knot styles. However, I don't even know what our instructor's name was. She never introduced herself or asked our names - there were only two other participants besides myself. We ended class nearly an hour early. This feels like a waste of project making and learning time. Either the project we did was too simple or our instructor wasn't thoroughly prepared. Her instruction was okay, though I don't think it is very helpful to physically do something for the student which she did a number of times. I believe it is more helpful to walk them through it verbally while allowing them to do it to experience the motions and acquire muscle memory. Craft is a great space! I wanted to share my thoughts because I think the class I took last evening could be improved upon for future students. Thank you for reading, Ivette"
