When she accidently ripped one of my cuticles too roughly and my finger started to bleed, she immediately apologized, sanitized, and closed the wound. It wasn't a big deal for me to bleed a little but that reaction made me feel very confident in their sanitation. They have an extensive selection of gel colors (even thermo gel! How cool is that?) I think it's worth to note that you can select up to 5 colors for your manicure and they don't charge extra! Most other nail salons would nickel and dime you to death! Koodos. I also appreciated that Emily informed me how much my bows are going to cost prior to installation. I mean other salons would just put it on for you and who knows if there's a little surprise waiting for you on the bill? Excellent value for the professionalism that you get. I had shellac removal (free with manicure), gel manicure, and 2 bows for a total of $48 including tax. Let's see how long these nails will last me, I'll definitely be back! Side note: There's no designated parking stalls here, only street parking is available, go early to find spots!

Plus I don't even have to do my makeup in the morning anymore, since it already looks like I have a full face on with JUST the eyelashes. I'm definitely gonna come back to get my nails done too, just since this place is so quick and convenient and I don't have to worry about meeting a new esthetician, since Kim does it all. After getting it done I cannot agree more with the other reviewers. The whole process took an hour only, not the 30 min manicure and 45 min pedicure they advertised. The mother did both my hands and feet. She did not shape my nails, just pushed the cuticles back and didn't even cut them! The polish was so uneven and have streaks and bubbles all over them. Like a previous reviewer said, it was applied nowhere near the cuticles. It's been a day and there are scratches in my nails.. I wonder if it's the product or the fact that it wasn't properly cured? Overall pretty disappointed, I could have done a much better myself. I gave her 2 stars only because she was quite friendly. Not even worth the 29 bucks plus tax and tip I paid!

I have been a loyal customer of Pure Nail Bar since they opened and have been getting cat-eye…read moremanicures and pedicures here since 2023. I live just down the street from the salon, which makes it convenient, but the main reason I've continued coming back is because I've consistently had positive experiences and have always left happy with the service. Unfortunately, my most recent pedicure was disappointing. From the beginning, the technician's demeanor made me feel uncomfortable. She handled my feet as though she didn't want to touch them and provided very little communication throughout the service. Rather than simply telling me when to lift my feet or place them back in the tub, she would just look at me and seem to expect that I should know what she wanted. It felt awkward and unwelcoming. The biggest issue was with the cat-eye polish. I specifically requested and paid for cat-eye polish on both my manicure and pedicure. My manicure was done by another technician and the cat-eye effect was exactly what I expected. During my pedicure, however, I was told that the effect was difficult to achieve on toenails because they are smaller. After I questioned why my pedicure didn't resemble my manicure, she only applied the cat-eye effect to my big toenails and left the remaining toes as they were, explaining that the other nails were too small. She mentioned she could try, but by that point I had another appointment to get to and didn't feel like I should have to keep insisting on receiving the service I had already paid for. To make matters more frustrating, I was then told that if I wanted a darker cat-eye effect, I should request a black base next time. Had this been explained at the beginning of the appointment, I would have gladly considered that option. Instead, the explanation came after the service, when it was too late to make changes. The hot stone massage was also uncomfortable. The stones were very hot, yet I was never asked whether the temperature was comfortable before they were applied. A simple check-in would have made a big difference and demonstrated some concern for client comfort. I want to emphasize that this review is based on my experience with one technician and not the salon as a whole. Over the years, I have had many excellent pedicures here and have always felt well taken care of. That's why this experience stood out so much. As a customer who has supported this location for years and lives nearby, I left feeling disappointed, unheard, and as though my comfort and satisfaction were not a priority. I hope this feedback is received constructively, as I would like to continue supporting this salon and seeing the level of service that originally made me a loyal customer.

Their online booking system is very convenient and easy to use and I also received a text from Nageen the following morning confirming my reservation. Location is along Main Street with ample parking space around and also a bus stop on the corner - very accessible. Meeting Nageen for the first time was like meeting a new friend - very personable and friendly. Her concept of "Me Time" really appealed to me and I'm glad that she opened up a place like this -- a relaxing and quiet place to get pampered. I got the gel mani and regular pedi combo. Nageen's work is clean, neat and painless too -- in other places I'd always get nicked. I got a little nail art too -- perfect for spring which I absolutely adore. Also had eyebrow and upperlip threading which were both done well too. Looking forward to coming back again in a few weeks.
