Found out about Me Time Aesthetics on Yelp and so glad I did! Will definitely come back again and again. Their online booking system is very convenient and easy to use and I also received a text from Nageen the following morning confirming my reservation. Location is along Main Street with ample parking space around and also a bus stop on the corner - very accessible. Interior is pretty and welcoming and most of all, it doesn't smell like the strong fumes of nail polish. Meeting Nageen for the first time was like meeting a new friend - very personable and friendly. This is an excellent place to get your eyebrows done. My friend and I stumbled on this place while walking through Punjabi Market and we're so glad we did. The threader was very friendly, and added us to the schedule even though we were walk-ins. I really liked the shape of the eyebrows she did for me, they looked very natural and clean. It was my friend's first time getting her eyebrows done, and she had a great experience. The price for getting the eyebrows done was very reasonable as well ~$12 CAD. Upon entering the salon, the atmosphere was bright, calming, and inviting. The music is relaxing, and improves your mood the moment you walk in. The staff working were all pleasant and helped me with my shoes and coat. I was seated with more than enough time to choose a colour for my manicure, and was offered a delicious hot tea. I am in love with Me Time! Having been disappointed by a lot of nail salons in Vancouver lately, I've been dreading my trip to the salon for a gel removal & manicure. But I finally decided to check this out after reading the positive reviews & its convenient location. The salon opens at 11am but I showed up at 10:30 and Satomi happily sat me down in the relaxing atmosphere. She is friendly and helped talk me through choosing the colours as I am fairly indecisive-- I definitely don't regret following her picks! She has high attention to details and great technique. My pet peeves for manicures are uneven filing of the nail / not making sure you are 100% with the shape before proceeding with polish, and technicians neglecting the edges / corners of the nails when painting. But both of these things were well taken care of by Satomi. This was overall such a pleasant visit and I will definitely make this my go to nail salon! A cozy spot for nails. I made a same day appointment for a shellac mani/pedi on Boxing Day and was quickly accommodated. The lovely lady that did my nails was SO DETAILED. Shaped my nails perfectly and my nails are gorgeous. Only minor pitfall was that it took over an hour. But I guess that's the time it takes for perfect nails. My pedi was lovely too. My nails were a bit short so there wasn't much to work with there anyways. This place is a bit small so won't be able to accommodate a larger party but it's lovely. I cannot for the life of me remember the owners name right now but that lady hustles and treats her customers so well. I have gone here twice now on 2 different occasions. My first visit was for a gel manicure with nail art. Satomi did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did it better than the picture! It was a light pink base with pink/red flowers, leaves, and dots. The attention to detail was superb. I have received a lot of complements everywhere I go! It's been a couple weeks now and my manicure still looks great! My second visit was for a gel pedicure with gel removal and a repair with a gel extension. I came in with my big toe nail ripped off. I came here at noon on Thursday. I called and they had an opening. I would definitely call in advance to make an appointment or just go online and book an appointment. The place has a great relaxing vibe. The Decour is really beautiful, they also have pottery for sale. My nail techs name was Satomi. She was super sweet and super skilled. I didn't mention my hangnail but she did such a fantastic job cutting it, (The last time I went to a nail salon they kept cutting till I bled so this was a very pleasant experience) Skill level I would give her an A+, especially if you have similar issues. BB I also did Gel manicure. She did such a great job I was highly impressed I will definitely be going back. My nail gel fill was $70 my toes for the pedicure were 40 and I paid additional $10 for sparkly nails which I didn't mind. My total was $124. I was overall happy with the whole experience. Ever since I moved here from the states a few months ago I been on a search for a good eyebrows threading spot with good customer service and thanks to Yelp I found Nageen. She's very good and what she does and knows what's best for me. I really appreciated that she explained the differences from clean and shaping. And I'm glad I didn't get mines "shaped". It'll be little too feminine for my standards. I'm also thankful she went a little extra for me. She cleaned around my upper cheek area which was very nice of her even though I came in for just to clean my brows. Major kudos. She has a wide range of services which is awesome. Found this little gem through Yelp and it was another great find, thanks Yelp! The salon is small but comfortable and has the atmosphere of "let's girl talk" which I always appreciate. The owner was sweet and knowledgeable and the tech also was very sweet. The owner helped me pick the gel nail polish for my fingers (I wanted a beige/pink that would be opaque) which I also appreciated. The attention to detail on my manicure and pedicure is impressive. For removing a gel polish I was only charged 5 CAD + a regular 25 CAD for manicure. no extra charge for Vinylux like some other salons do. Nageen was super nice and accomodating and was open to doing any nail art designs we discussed with her. I am new to town and wanted to find a go to salon when it was time to get my nails done. I had read so many great reviews about this place and The owner Nageen that I made an appointment to get my gels removed! When I got to the salon she ended up having time to get me in for a full manicure and pedicure (which is what I really wanted). I have very weak nails and she explained what I should be doing to help get them to go back to being strong and healthy rather than try to up-sell like most nail technicians do when they have you in their chair. She new exactly what I needed and made me feel so comfortable the entire time I was there. Nageen is WONDERDUL!! I needed to get my nails done asap and everyone was booked at the last minute, till I came across Nageen's yelp page. I texted her asking if she has any time slots available within 24 hours. She responded very quickly and gave me the last spot of her Monday. Her salon is very clean and tidy, with no chemical smells at all. She welcomed me as soon as I entered her salon and sat me down at a table with her selection of shellac colours. She uses BIO SEAWEED Gel, which is formaldehyde free and doesn't make your nails weaker the more you use it. She was sweet to talk to, even recommending good eats around her area. Her hands were very gentle when removing my old shellac and refiling my nails (my nail beds usually bleed or get irritated when it gets filed over by accident). She shaped my nails exactly how I wanted it shaped and my nails were not messy at all. She painted them with precision, made sure there were no air bubbles and painted cuticle oil them when finished. She is very detailed with her work and I would HIGHLY recommend her salon, but always call beforehands for appointments, as Nageen is the OWNER and ONLY employee of the establishment. read more

Nageen, the owner is clearly a great manager because the staff seem to enjoy working in the shop which makes then very pleasant and genuine. Satomi gave me a great bikini wax, pedicure and manicure. She was super conscientious. The atmosphere is calm, and you feel like a guest. I think this come from the salon not taking walk-ins. When I was there, there was banter with regulars which contributed to the feeling that you're not just an anonymous customer. The quality of service and work is as good as any high-end salon in the city, but the prices are nowhere near those. I encourage you to try the salon - you will not be disappointed. read more

After moving to Marpole, I was on the search for a new nail salon. I found Me Time after a quick google search and was convinced by all the positive reviews. Plus, instant online booking is always a winner in my books. My services: gel manicure, regular pedi, and a last minute add on for eyebrow threading (when I couldn't make it to my usual place before an event) It is a small cute shop that Nageen has obviously put a lot of care into. I didn't think about it at the time but reading other reviews, I agree it smelled very neutral, no harsh chemical smell. It was clean and tidy, with Nageen's playlist in the background. Nageen is a lovely person, who seems to have the gift of maintaining just the right ambience - I generally like to just zone out and relax during nail appointments and I often feel pressured to chat instead. Nageen was great - our conversation wasn't forced and quiet lulls were comfortable. Also, I am a nail biter/picker and I get embarrassed getting my nails done. She was so understanding and didn't make me feel self conscious. I have been to other places where people have reprimanded me or offered lots of (unsolicited) comments on my terrible habit. I liked that she uses LED lamps (lots of cheaper places use UV which can do a lot of damage to your skin) and Bio Seaweed Gel, which is a healthier option for gel polish.
