. Wendy's colleague lied to my face saying she's taking out ingrown nail. I stood up, noticed. She was painting toenails .
    Jan S.

I decided to try this place the lady at the front name Wendy told me to come in sit down I wanted to get a nail fill. I showed her the colour that I was interested on my phone. She couldn't even match it up. Then she decides to go to the back she doesn't say excuse me I will be right back nothing she just gets up and walks away so as I'm sitting there, patiently waiting and waiting and waiting she finally comes back. She starts the drill the red colour off my baby now then she asked her colleague next to her invert my niece. What colour is this on my phone she couldn't even match the colour app. How do you get pink from light beige, ? Suddenly she stops filing my 1 nail cuz a customer walks in wants assistance oh can I help you? I'm thinking you're supposed to be doing my nails but you're being a receptionist not realizing it's rude. Secondly, unprofessional doesn't tell me. Oh, excuse me, or do you mind if I just help this lady no no no these people don't know anything about customer service and professionalism . As I'm sitting there, patiently, waiting for her to finish being receptionist she comes back. She starts filing ONLY ONE NAIL colour which is red colour. Suddenly she stops again I thought to myself oh my God I'm gonna be here hours. She deals with another customer then her colleague next to her said something in Vietnamese to her and Wendy goes to the back just leaves me there no communication and I'm looking around like where is this technician? Where is she and I see her popper head out from the back I thought this is odd. So I'm sitting there waiting patiently. She decides to go over to the customer That's having a pedicure already . I thought OK this is odd then her colleague that's sitting by me, says something in Vietnamese to her across the room. Obviously Wendys said something in Vietnamese, and a colleague says to me, oh, she'll be right with you she's just taking out an ingrown toe nail. I said OK so I waited and waited and waited. I looked over what is this person actually doing . I couldn't believe my eyes. She was painting the girls toenails with colour thinking I'm not gonna leave because she already started filing one fingernail while she was in for a rude awakening. I gotta put my coat on walked out . Unprofessional, no people skills, trying to get in as many people as possible doing to people at one time. No, this is unacceptable. They don't speak to you they speak in their language to the other colleague, sitting beside them you can since they're talking about my nails . Since the other colleague looking at my nails like this is rude. I am surprised they are still in business. Definitely customer service isn't in there job profession oh, but when it comes time to pay Oh there's so attentive. Because they want to tip. I've been there before and they don't do very good work and they don't understand English for what you are requesting, so this makes it even challenging. So they don't understand English nor they do a good job for the amount of money they charge, which is outrageous but like I stress, they're very nice to you and attentive towards the end. That's when it comes time to pay money. . If you can avoid this place, I highly suggest it's not even well ventilated as soon as you walk in, you can smell the fumes they only speak in theirlanguage. I stress don't even give this business your time. They do a horrible job they can't even understand English what a customer is requesting they can't even pick up the right color. This is happened before there. I remember I asked for a particular colour lady goes oh yes I have it I said no that's not the color, so I just end up settling for it cause she didn't understand English none of them do.

Toe infection alert!!! and no apologies or any kind of acknowledgement. My pedi done on Tuesday and photos are what happened very next day. I've called them multiple times and still havent seen any sign of effort to reach out to me while I'm on my antibiotic for 5days and suffering from chills at night resulted from infection.

This was one of my favourite nail places I've ever been to. I had a great experience and the result was exactly what I wanted. Tammy is awesome I would highly suggest her.

Pinky nail wasn't glued properly and started to lift.
    Janny Y.

I paid $65 + $20 tip until I noticed Lucy messed up on my pinky nail, it started to lift after the curing process. I requested solar French manicure (high quality acrilic). They wouldn't fix it.

My nails started falling off today dec 2nd after I got them done on Nov 21st. I got a simple acrylic set... smh not retuning

I have officially found a new home for my toes! The boutique is spotless and meticulously decorated with style by the owner (check out the wooden hand sculptures) and a high end vibe balanced with friendly staff. I appreciated the care that they put into their client's comfort and the sterilized tools they removed from sealed packages, top notch. Aida was amazing and will be my new go to. Beautiful decor and even more beautiful service and attention to detail - my toes have never felt better! Thank you!

The exterior was covered with gorgeous flowers, and it reminded me of the elegant storefronts you see in Europe, especially Italy and London. Through the windows, you could see the beautiful interior finishes, making it impossible not to be impressed before even stepping inside. The salon is located in Vancouver's luxury shopping district, surrounded by iconic brands such as Dior, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, and Hermès, which adds to the overall upscale experience. Before booking, I called with a few questions and found everyone to be incredibly helpful. I ended up booking an appointment online for the following morning for a Bio Gel manicure. It happened to be raining when I arrived, and the staff immediately took my coat and offered me a beverage. I chose an Americano, which was served on a beautiful tray. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the entire experience. The salon itself was immaculate. I noticed staff constantly cleaning, dusting, polishing, and maintaining the space throughout my visit. Everything was spotless. They even provided masks to wear during the filing process to protect clients from nail dust, which I thought was a very nice detail. My nail technician, Olga, was absolutely wonderful. She and another team member helped me choose the perfect color combination, a soft translucent shade with just a hint of pink and white. The result was exactly what I was hoping for. I've received countless compliments on my nails during my Alaska cruise and have found myself telling everyone that I had them done in Vancouver. I hadn't had my nails done in quite some time because previous dip manicures in the United States had damaged my natural nails, largely from repeatedly using tips to achieve the shape I wanted. I was looking for something stronger and more protective, and the team took the time to explain why Bio Gel might be a better option for my situation. What really impressed me was their ability to build and shape the extensions using Bio Gel itself. I had been researching builder gel and healthier alternatives to acrylics and dip systems, so it was fascinating to see the process firsthand. While it does take longer because of the multiple layers and curing under the UV lamp, I love the strength, shine, and natural look of the finished nails. Most importantly, I'm hopeful this system will be much gentler on my natural nails going forward. The initial appointment was a little expensive, but that's to be expected when you're getting a full new set and custom shaping. Given the quality of the work, the luxurious atmosphere, and the exceptional service, I felt it was well worth the cost. What truly sets this salon apart is the overall experience. The beautiful environment, attentive staff, complimentary beverage service, and genuine hospitality make it feel more like a luxury spa than a typical nail salon. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to help. If you're visiting Vancouver and need your nails done before a trip, I highly recommend this salon. Choosing a nail salon while traveling can be stressful as you don't know if it's convenient, safe, clean, or whether you'll be happy with the results. I spent quite a bit of time researching before my appointment, and I am so glad I found this place. It was an easy and safe walk from the Pan Pacific Hotel, and the results exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely return on a future visit to Vancouver. 5/5 stars -- a truly luxurious experience with exceptional service and beautiful results

You'll need to walk past the restaurants and go all the way back behind the convention center to the waterfront, and look for the washrooms (or ask a friendly Canadian if they know where the restrooms are) -- Waterfront nails is right next to it. I walked in 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, and there were only 2 people in the salon. Both women were friendly and I did not feel rushed or awkward. I got a jelly cat eye gel manicure, and it is gorgeous! I can't remember the woman's name, but she did such a good job that 3 weeks later, even with my nails grown out, the gel manicure is still solid and shiny! No peeling, chipping or other damage. You tell me if this sounds fishy to you…read more I walked in today to simply get a basic mani and before I even sat down the girl at the front asked me for my credit card number. I was confused. I asked her why and she told me to hold my spot. Hold my spot? So, I asked her if she wanted me to come back later?....."No, no...." she said, I can take you now. Now I was even more baffled. I told her I'd be paying with debit and she told me well that's totally different. If you want to book online for next time you come in...it will be easier for you with your CC information registered online. Well, first off....how do you know I'll be back.....secondly, can't I just do that myself at home in the comfort of my own space and privacy? Her approach to getting my credit card info. just felt very out of bounds and forced making me feel very uncomfortable. I clarified to her: I just want a basic mani, paying debit when it's done. What do you need my credit card number for? When she realized that I wasn't into the whole...."let's share private information thang" she backed off. To be honest, at that point I was a bit startled, because just about a month ago I had fraudulent theft on my debit card and Vancouver at the moment is under serious ID theft and credit theft. Once she allowed me to enter past the Welcome matt without grabbing my credit card information, she asked me to pick a colour. Two things happened while I was trying to find my colour at the wall in the back. 1. I didn't find any colour I liked (very limited colour selection) 2. The red flags just didn't go away. It just felt off. I left without getting my nails done. I pick a colour. you paint my nails. I pay debit. We all go home happy. What do you need my credit card information for?

She has precision and pays special attention to detail. I brought my GF with me. She is very picky and after we were done she messaged me saying "best nails ever! " ( Joy did her nails ) my husband said the exact same thing when he saw mine! They have a huge selection/ variety of different nail art styles to choose from. Bring in a photo or let them help you decide. I got a combination of chrome and glass ( Mylar ) with a skull charm and a big bow charm on the other hand. Very pleased with the results. It took a bit longer then I would like, but the results were worth it and having my friend there getting hers done beside me made time go by quickly. The salon is very clean and well organized. Very hygienic. Lots of samples to chose from. Can't wait to bring my husband there with me for a pedicure ! ( boy does he sure need one ! ) The price for MY nails before tip was **153$ . She was great to let me know cost before proceeding ( which is awesome as many I have done to don't do this ) It may seem pricy but the quote "cheap is never good and good is never cheap" comes to mind. Last set of nails I got ( in Vegas at the spa at the Mirage ) were way more expensive, for basic nails that peeled, had bumps under one nail and no nail art at all. For what Lisa did, it was well worth it !! ** this does not reflect the price of ALL nail sets, I had gel nails, plus the chrome overlay, plus the "glass" /milar overlay (which she hand cut and placed on my nails ) plus 1 XL charm and another L charm both with crystals on them ) Very happy and will return and defiantly recommend!
