Leaving it to a professional who truly cares for their craft gave us the results we couldn't even imagine! I know most gals are worried about time but her team is serving us art and speed. 2 hour set where as most places would've taken longer. Each nail was a process that is hand crafted, I'm talking about those 3D lines and flowers (as a previous nail tech myself, chrome is hard ok. I came upon this place by chance. I was in the area ( buying hair from Abantu ) and when I saw it from across the street, originally I thought it was a beauty supply store . I was in desperate need of new nails I called around 6 and was told to come on over. The shop isn't overly fancy, but the ladies who were working here were very very nice. They stayed past closing time in order to make sure my nails were done to my liking and not to worry that it was late . The attitude was nothing but positive . Kristina removed what was left of my old set and quickly applied new ones. She shaped then as per my request. I had picked out a blue colour but didn't like the way it looked. Kristina and Kim helped me try another colour- I didn't like that either. They were so good about making sure that I got the right one ! Finally we chose a pretty purple -perfect for spring ! They then chose some gems for nail art, and painted the tip of my pinky finger black. I was thrilled with the results - and the price Total with tax $62 -with tip $90 well deserved indeed. What I really liked was the attitude. They were so nice and happy to go out of the way to make sure I was happy and got what I wanted. I book an appointment every time I come and for some reason they always overbook or take clients in when they know they have appointments booked. I called in advance and got the price for gel over lay (over natural nails, no extensions) and shellac color on top which came up to 40 plus 15 or something like that...pretty standard from what I'm used to for those services. I agreed and made my way over. At first I was not very impressed with the store front nor the interior but I really needed to get my nails done and my regular girl was fully booked so I sucked it up and sat down hoping for the worst. My nail tech was Vincent and he was pretty cool as we made small talk throughout the service. He asked me all the questions that should be asked, how thin, how long etc. Overall I was very impressed with his technique and loved his color recommendation. My nails turned out great and I was super happy at this point. When I paid the owner she gave me a huge discount because it was my first time at the store didn't even charge me for fixing a broken nail. I will be back to do my nails here and recommend Vincent! This place is up the street from me and I have been there once before and never went back...I can't remember why. Regardless, I went back today for a shellac manicure for my birthday. I was having a pretty cheaply day and was in the worst mood so I called ahead to make an appt because things today were already not going in my favor. I called at 2:25 and made an appt for 3:00pm. I showed up and was helped by Vincent who did an amazing job! He was so diligent and meticulous with his work...I finally have the nails I've wanted! Went in today for a pedicure, and I never get color and I tell them I want my nails as short as possible and please spend some time cleaning up the bottom of my feet. Well prices have increased since they have re-opened, they were done in under 20 minutes start to finish, still dead skin on the bottom of my feet, and she did not cut my nails either. When I was at the counter to pay I relayed this information and was told "oh sorry" please pay here! Nothing at all, I said that was the last time I was going to use them, they have consistently gotten worse and worse every time I have gone! No lineup or anything so its not like she had anything to do after except play on her phone. They have also refused service to customers for not wearing masks inside but then many of the staff aren't wearing them and today not all the customers were. read more

I called in to make an appointment for refills I asked what's the earliest I could get in at she said 20min so I got there in exactly 20min for my appointment they asked me why I was there I told them I called in for refills they said Ok 15min.. So I waited they asked me what I wanted done again for the 3rd time so I told them quite annoyed and asked how much it would come to she said 35 when the nails I got done there in the beginning came to 40 dollars.... I come to Creative Nails regularly for pedicures and manicures. I'm pretty picky when it comes to how I like my nails to look (I prefer squared over round) and they always file it and fix anything that I point out or that I'm not happy with. GARBAGE NAILS!!!! I went there last week for an acrylic refill, the Asian guy doing my nails was extremely rude to me, he had no idea what he was doing and when I asked him he replied in his broken english "I do this go to a place you like" while he was doing my refill. When I asked him to call the manager or owner so I could tell them what happened the staff refused to do so and they ruined my nails and mood. Came here on a whim while I was walking by and this was probably the worst mani and pedi I've ever had. The place didn't seem very clean, for one, but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. The woman who did my pedicure kept coughing on my feet - super unhygienic. The young man who did my manicure kicked off his shoes and sat on a massage chair with his bare feet watching videos on his phone while he waited for the remover to soak in. So unprofessional! He was also way too aggressive with cuticle removal and kept on picking and pulling at my skin around my nails. Another woman came in - she was a regular it seemed - and in a rush to serve her I didn't receive any hand/arm massage with the manicure nor lotion. When I pointed this out, he just said "oh s---t" and laughed. I just took some lotion myself and slathered it on and left. What a waste of $47 plus tip. Not recommended at all. There are so many nail places near Kingsway better than this place. read more

Went there for a pedicure, all was good, Laura was very nice. The guy was doing a chemical treatment on a customers nails and the smell was really bothering me, not enough ventilation. So the girls opened the door to air it out so I could breathe and a few minutes later he gets up and slams the door without even asking. Such an asshole, only cares about himself. I think he terrorizes the girls as they are scared of him. The customers I have noticed argue with only him and he's extremely rude back to them, no customer service. He will ruin this business single handedly if he stays there, maybe he's the owner? Someone needs to fire him quickly. I'm going to use up my savings card and that will be it. I'm going to find out when he's not working and go then. Will try vivid nails after this. Need a relaxing atmosphere!! If I wanted yelling I'd stay home with my 3 kids.... read more

just DONT GO HERE. creative nails is a low grade, bad quality nail salon and they WILL DAMAGE YOUR NAIL BEDS. i used to go here because it was close and cheap, but i drew the line to a STOP last time i went in for a fill. worst nails i've ever had done to me in my life, and one broke the following day. for the next few days the nails broke off one by one: the staff are nice (sometimes), however the owners wife did an absolutely awful job of my last fill. she was chatting to another customer the whole time she did my nails, often looking away for minutes at a time. she wasn't focused or detail oriented... and the result truly shows. i went home to my boyfriend after and he looked at them and didn't say anything. my mom even noticed on facetime, she was like "wtf is up with your nails?" they were NOTICABLY thick and jagged, crooked, just absolutely terrible looking. when i later went to Pure nail salon, she told me my nail beds were damaged and that's what was causing the pain i felt whenever i grabbed something or whenever my nail bed bent.
