I had finally found a place/person who would do gel manicures to my standard, polish never chipped, and stayed shiny and new for weeks. But I've gotten 2 pedicures here and both times were a nightmare. First of all, while getting manicure a roach started crawling on the table and she killed with with the buffer she was using on my nails AND THEN continued to buff my nails with the same buffer!!!! Both times I've gotten a pedicure here (by different people) I've gotten cut. They are toooo rough while removing the sides of your toenails. I've gotten it done at other salons and it really shouldn't hurt when doing it correctly. It's been 2 days and my toe is still oozing blood and what looks like pus. I'm literally praying to god that I don't get an infection. It also seems like it's the way they're being trained because every technician in this salon does the same thing like???? After a week every single one of my nails had chipped. One came off completely! Normally gel nails last 2- 3 weeks on me and never chip. 8- 10 nails were messed up. I went to tell them and they told me that too many days had passed to help me. So basically got ripped off. I guess you get what you pay for which isn't much here. The other people are so rude and the man with the tattoos & piercing(s) (not the main guy who sits by the counter) is so ROUGH. I went in last week for a mani & pedi and he kept hurting me. He CUT me and made me bleed and he had the audacity to tell me to put my foot back in the dirty water!!!!!!!!!! They ARE NOT SANITARY to top it off. I said no and he asked again to put my foot back in the water! I obviously said no again. I will not be back. I tried this place for the first time, because it's close to my house and my other nail salon left me less than satisfied the last couple of times I went. I came around 6 and was seen after only a few minutes. I got a fill and a pedicure both by tony and he is so good at what he does. He's very knowledgable about nails and pointed out how my previous acrylic and pedicure job left my nails uneven (which is why I stopped going to my other nail salon) he did such a good job of fixing my nails to be flawless and shaped to perfection. This nail salon is JUST okay. I like to treat my mom and sister every month or so to the trip at the salon. They've been doing a nice job with acrylics so far but where they really lose out on is pedicures. They cut my poor mama because the man was too rough and rushed- he did my acrylics the first time and I felt the same energy from him. As for pedicures they're BASIC. There is no foot massage and very little attention to comfort and detail. When I come to a nail salon I want to relax and feel pampered. Unfortunately that's not the case with Lucky Nails. There is a new lady, very thin short black hair (not Tony's wife) She is new, did my pedicure yesterday and it was the worst experience I have ever had with getting a pedicure!!!!! I have never had a more BLOODY horrifying experience. It was like a mini torture session for my toe. When I went to get a mani-pedi i never expected what was to come. I began my service by getting a gel manicure which came out lumpy and shaped badly. Next he began to give me a pedicure.... as he was removing "dead skin" I began to feel pain. I have always been able to handle pain well but as he continued to dig deeper he began to pull fresh skin and it was so painful I told him "I don't believe that's dead skin. My toe is gushing blood and I have never bled like that" but he continued and I told him I couldn't do it. I was literally gushing blood and he told me to just dip my foot in the water and tried to continue. I almost got up and stopped the service at that point. He said he would leave that area alone and stopped to continue the rest of my pedicure. Here are some pictures of my bruised toe a few hours later STILL GOOING AND BLOODY and my lumpy manicure. I'll be attaching a video above of my toe after it had stopped gushing blood. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE WITH EXTREME PAIN. It's been an entire day and my toe is still bleeding... that "dead skin" he said he cut was fresh skin. Imagine someone pulling your fresh skin. I am in so much pain even a day later. I regret going to this place and I don't want anyone to get hurt like I've been hurt. I will be contacting state board. read more
