After hearing some rave reviews from a friend, I tried the salmon burger w/ side ($17). I also had and the fava bean spread on sourdough toast ($10). The salmon burger was worthy of the hype. The fish (wild Coho salmon) was perfectly seasoned with a generous portion and the bun was nice and soft. The herbed slaw and remolaude were perfect toppings. Every bite was filled with flavor. It was thoughtfully constructed and easy to eat without making a mess. Also came with a side of their corn fritters, which were excellent. The fava bean toast, while a bit pricey, was also a delight, with a lovely presentation and taste. The sourdough had the ideal crunchy/chewy texture. I'm excited to try more stuff from this cart, it is obvious that there is a lot of thought behind the food. Thankfully, PLAY Eugene has put up partial covering on the outside tables, so you can enjoy eating outside without having the sun beating down on you.
