This little Chinese place in a neighborhood Strip Center has changed hands a few times and has most recently become the Lucky Bamboo. if you want the cliff notes version of this review suffice it to say bet this is the best version of this restaurant so far. Walking in you receive a warm greeting from the new owner named Alice. One thing that makes this place is that Alice cares. I started out my meal with an order of crab rangoons and some egg rolls. Both were very good and then I moved on true shrimp fried rice and orange shrimp. Both were exquisitely delicious! They have only been open for one week and there were not a lot of customers there so if you are in the area and looking for some good Chinese food I ordered you to help this place out a little bit! read more

Came because of the reviews and it did not disappoint! Orange Chicken: great flavor and a bit spicy for my kids but we all liked it. Not a big portion. Orange Beef: I liked it better than the orange chicken! Really good flavor but not shareable in my opinion. Chicken Fried rice: fell short here. Not enough ________?? Not their specialty. The service here is spectacular! The staff has great energy and makes you feel welcomed from the second you walk in. It was a cold day so Alice gave me a large bowl of soup to take home no charge! Took dinnner to go. Came in around 6 on a sunday and there was plenty of room if we wanted to sit. Ordered and paid quick and the food came out in less than 10 mins no joke. At first it had me worried since it reminded me of fast food but then when i got home i was amazed. The boy behind the counter also offered us water while we waited which was nice. Each entree comes in a nice plastic container that DOESNT SPILL/LEAK - thank god - and it kept the food actually HOT until i got back. They included inside our bag an additional bag with three or four different sauces and fortune cookies which just adds to the experience. We've now eaten there 4 times and it's been very good on several levels. The hostess has to be one of the owners. She's friendly and helpful, yet doesn't mess around getting your food out. I've started and edited this review a number of times. This establishment has great people out front. Very helpful. Very cheerful. Then you get home with the order and it's oh no zone. The won ton in the wonton soup was horrible texture and flavor. The golden fried rice is overly complex which confuses the flavor intent. Definitely not the rice to compliment other flavors on the plate. SWeet n sour pork was good though the batter was too thick. Pepper steak was vial. I think we've found our new spot for Chinese! We ordered the egg drop soup (wonderful!) the egg rolls (good) the general tso's chicken (the best I've ever had!!!!!) and the golden fried rice (decent). The GFR was interesting, as it wasn't the traditional house fried rice I was expecting, but it was still good. My husband and I ate at Lucky Bamboo for the first time a couple weeks ago. We went because of the great reviews and found them to be very accurate. The food was delicious, and the service was even better. Not only was the server very attentive, but the chef even came out to check on the quality of our food (there were a lot of carry out orders, but we were the only ones dining in that evening.) The atmosphere was very nice as well. It looked pretty modern and recently updated. There was even a karaoke area at the front of the restaurant - seems like that would be fun some evening when they are people using it. We will definitely be back. read more

It's a nice place. Service is nice. It's a big open room, so depending on the day and time it could go from quiet to noisy pretty quickly. The food is fine. I ordered the egg rolls and orange chicken to eat in location. The chicken was made with dark meat which makes it chewy for my taste, but it was hot, fresh, and flavorful, won't order it again though. Egg rolls were nice. Strong crispy texture on outside, nice hot and flavorful inside. I also ordered fried rice to take away for later. We'll see if that warrants a bump up or a drop. read more

I have not had Chinese food this good since I lived in NYC. Finally found my go to place for Chinese to go.. Every last part of our order was delicious. We got Chicken and Beef Lomein, General TSO Chicken, Wonton Soup and Crab Rangoon. The portions were enormous we have enough for left overs tomorrow. Very nice place to spend quality time with friends. Right from the beginning, the staff were very welcoming and kind. Very attentive to whatever we needed, Alice especially. They had enough space to seat our party of 6. We each got boba and although there was only one kind, it was delicious and home made! They didn't have your normal tapioca, but I still enjoyed the jelly substitute. Each of our plates came out quickly, good portions, and were delicious. Once we were finished, Alice reassured my friends and I that we could stay to continue our conversations and even brought out complementary cookies and refilled our waters/tea. Love this place! The owner is very friendly and nice. Weeks ago, we were the only customers at the time. She brought us the cabbage pickles which were delicious to start off. We are a family of 4 with picky eaters, enjoyed all the meals of the day. We had green beans, orange chicken, fried fish fillets and the best fried tofu with vegetables. I asked for 'extra spicy, make me cry', and i got good spice with some more on the side. not everyone believes me when i say i want actual spice, but they did. i got the Singapore rice noodles. i was surprised to find they offered that. it was great. also, the egg drop soup was really good. lots of egg without an oversized clump. if you made it this far, just try it. i'm gonna be back soon to try more things. read more
