This is a classic example of a NYC slice of pizza. The right balance of flavor and grease. Service is always great! It's a small space but it's a staple.

Lucia's has been my go-to slice spot for as long as I can remember. I've literally grown up coming here, and while it's wild to see the price climb from $2 to $3.50 over the years, the quality has always stayed the same. The sauce, cheese, and crust come together just right -- simple, classic, and consistently good. No matter how many other pizza places I try, this one will always be my favorite slice in Flushing.

Great fast pizza spot. Nice cheesy and hot. Super quick service, and even a small bar top seating situation if you need to eat right then and there.

Let me start by saying i am a huge Lucia fan. ive been going there since i was a kid. i tried to call the store to resolve this but this is a last resort. i ordered on uber eats to my store in a mall nearby. Lucia was using their own delivery people (i saved their numbers) and not ubers. The delivery guy called me after the order was already 20 mins late to meet him in front of the mall. i told him i couldn't leave the store and he had to come here. he told me he would leave it in the mall lobby and to come get it. and then hung up on me. then he left a pic (attached) of the food in the middle of mall lobby. i called to speak to a manager and they kept hanging up on me. this was by far the worst experience i have ever had with any delivery. im still shocked how rude the staff at lucia was. i have this all documented.

Food: Stopped in to try this plain slice because this place was featured in a recent New York Eater article as one of the best slices in New York City. The pizza wasn't bad but it's nothing special. I'm not sure why it was featured in the article. The sauce and cheese were good, but the crust wasn't the best. I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to get pizza here. Service: Service wasn't the best. We were standing in line to order our slice while someone was finishing up placing their order. Meanwhile, someone else walked in ahead of us to order, and the person taking orders behind the counter took his order first even though we, along with another customer behind us, were waiting in line first. Ambiance: The place is small and has about five seats and a counter for eating, but the space is tight, and seating is not comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you're craving pizza and in the area, but it's nothing special that you need to try.

Stayed at the renaissance hotel nearby and walked to this place My boss had never been to New York and wanted some pizza Boy did Lucia's deliver!! Phenomenal. Nothing crazy, just consistent and delicious. Great service and good people.

One of our friends claimed that Lucia was one of the best pizza joints around NYC so we made it as one of stops in our food tour. I had some doubts looking at the pictures but they do not do them justice. This place seems like a local favorite because while we were looking at the menu, there was a steady stream of customers who knew exactly what they wanted. Very small space with mostly standing room or a couple of counter stools. There's a little counter outside where you can stand and eat as well but there isn't any shade. I think most people just order the regular, which is a cheese pizza and if you want toppings, it's $0.75 each. Food comes out really fast since all they have to do is heat it up. A single slice is large enough for one person, maybe even two if you're not trying to eat that much. It's got a thin curst, crunchy bottom, and is very oily but in a good way. And there's parmesan, oregano, garlic powder and chili flakes on the countertops. Overall, very good value for a delicious slice of pizza!

Was a 15 minute walk from my hotel. Decided to try this place based on reviews. I was disappointed as I did not experience the same taste as others. Had classic pepperoni and cheese slices. Thin slices but chewy. Will not be returning as I have discovered better variety of slices elsewhere.

Stopped in on a late Saturday night for a quick slice for $3.25. Ordering process was super easy and they had my slice ready in no time. Perhaps this just isn't my type of slice, but the pizza felt very wet. As soon as I took a bite, the tomato sauce started spurting out the sides of the pizza and dripping down my hand. The flavor was fine but too wet for my preference

Lucia Pizza was one of many stops of our journey to eat everything in Flushing. We came on a recommendation from a friend and were honestly a bit skeptical when we saw photos. But we decided to give the benefit of the doubt and check it out anyways! The sausage pizzas were probably the saddest of the photos we saw but I still ended up getting it anyways for the extra meat. Don't judge a book by its cover because I was pleasantly surprised! I imagined thick slices of sausage but they were thinly sliced to not overwhelm the rest of the ingredients; good ratio of ingredients for each bite. Not only that, but the slices were huge at a great price. Red pepper flakes, oregano, and parmesan available for those that like to drown your pizza like I do. Overall, great spot to grab a quick slice of pizza. Friendly staff too!

Real authentic Italian pizza made by Italians. The service is fabulous, employees are so nice and refused to accept a tip. It's a very small business so the seating is limited to a row of stools at a small bar. Which made this restaurant seem even more authentic. I highly recommend coming here to try a slice. The crust on the Sicilian slice was to die for, absolutely divine.

We were on a food crawl and Lucia Pizza was one of our stops. No frills spot, with standing room inside and a few bar seats. Since we had multiple stops ahead of us, we just decided to split a pepperoni slice and a sausage and pepperoni slice. The man helping us was friendly and quick with his service. The crust is thin and crispy, but still a little flimsy from how fresh it comes out. The cheese is oozing and there's a decent amount of pepperoni and sausage on top of the slices. There's parmesan, oregano and red chili flakes on the countertops for you to add on top of your pizza as well. Really delicious pizza, and great value at ~$3/$4. If we had more stomach space, I would have absolutely wanted my own slice!

They're small but busy

Solid slice considering this tiny busy pizzeria is located in downtown flushing where it is mainly fast food and Asian restaurants. I got a plain cheese sliuce which was a fair $3.25/slice. I had come doubts especially after looking at the undercarriage of my slice (yellow and no char) but the thin slice was definitely crispy with tangy tomato slice and hot enough to burn my face off. Definitely a solid slice.

It was good. A lot of cheese and semi-sweet sauce. I like my crust crispy, this was a little bit on the soft side.

Haven't had any pizza like this since Pizza Palace on Bayard Street by Columbus Park closed. Easy to eat half a pie by oneself. Crispy, thin crust, perfect amount of sauce and oil (about 2 drips per plain slice, not drowning, but reminds you that this is true NYC pizza), lightly cheesed, but still has a good stringy mozzarella pull. For a similar, but slightly thicker (100% yum factor) NYC slice, it's Manos in Ridgewood. For, the thinnest and crispiest plain slice in NYC, Louie's is the standard bearer. Parked in front, ordered a whole pie, ran inside, threw down some cash, waited outside for the fresh pie to bake. 10 minutes later the owner (possibly Louie hisself) delivers the fresh pie to my car outside and actually thanks me. True Twilight Zone stuff. I scarf a fresh, hot slice straight from the carton before stowing the balance back to Long Island for additional reheat confirmation. With all the political nonsense ongoing, thank Goodness that a righteous, NYC plain slice is still alive, well and residing in un-hipster, un-gentrified, un-apologetically friendly-neighborhood Spiderman Elmhurst. "Best NYC style pizza" is a term that is minimized and bandied about every time some new $60, limited-run, kraft pizza from Japan is the current darling. We submit that this is not the case here. May Louie's be here after all the LES, deep dish, 3 Michelin star bakers and pizza itamae have exhausted their day in the limelight - and leases. $20 all-in (until the hipster masses beat a path here to make Louie's their pizza crusade ) Thank you Louie for giving us working class masses the best, true, unlimited, unpretentious, no-lines, no soup Nazi, no upsell, satisfyingly NYC pizza a $20 can still buy. PS: please don't renovate or move as your pizzeria is a time-capsule whose prime ingredient is sincerity.

Busy, active and definitely for the community given the notes, decorations. I always wanted to stop by here for a slice after watching the owner and father's heroic effort protecting an Asian lady who was being robbed in front of their store. Slice was solid at $3. OK looking undercarriage but limited floop. Only knock is bottom had too much flour remaining. Solid neighborhood spot. People were getting pasta dishes too. Ample seating. Friendly staff.

Particularly considering their cooking on a gozney oven stuffed into a food cart. It's actually a gas fired oven so it's more wood oven style. But that matters little for the taste. I went with a pepperoni and asked to add hongos to which the pizzaolo obliged my request. About 5 minutes later I was handed a piping hot pie and charged $14. But it was only after my first bite when I knew what a steal this is. The crust was nicely charred but also a delicate chew. The sauce is fresh, tangy with a great tomato flavor. The cheese must have had done parm sprinkled on because it was way for flavorful than mozz alone. And toppings tasted fresh and were plentiful. Impressive for sure. The block where the cart sits is super quiet with only a laundromat and another street vendor selling some leche de arroz. I'll have to wash my next pue down with sone of that next time. Nowhere to sit so it's more of a Togo or delivery setup. I'll def be ordering from here again in the future. I can't help think how much hype this cart would have in a more active and affluent area. But something about this cart serving pizza amongst a sea of tacos is so perfect. Keep Queens Real!

This was really interesting and of course it had some heat. The sausage which I think was chorizo had a good texture and taste.
