Regular Slice

Love a good orange slice with a nice tang in the sauce. Lucia pizza offers just that, with plain slices being $3.50 and slices with one topping going up to $4.25. The slices are crispy, cheesy, and the sauce is a perfect balance of tangy and slightly sweet. I highly recommend the mushroom slice as the mushrooms are super flavorful. Their fountain sodas are huge, $2 for medium soda was perfect. There's very limited seating so if you're dining in, expect to stand. Service is a little messy, we ate first and then paid. But they forgot we already ate. I think they should fix the queue somehow. All in all, yummy and I'd come back.

We got a few slices and they were pretty good. I got pepperoni and cheese. I really enjoyed the food but the counter and the floor was pretty gross. I know it's NY but still! We would have taken it to go but It was terribly hot. Everyone was friendly but they needed to clean up.

Needed to grab a quick two slices before heading to a concert in Flushing, Queens. Lucia was on the walk to the train stop. Cool little spot, that was busy with customers. Ordering was quick. I got two slices of pepperoni. While the crust was cooked, the cheese & pepperoni could have cooked a bit longer. It was still edible. Good prices & location.

Back in Flushing and had to pay my respects at Lucia Pizza --a real Queens legend holding it down since 1962. This is the kind of place that raised generations on proper New York slices. Thin crust, crisp edges, sweet tangy sauce, cheese bubbling like it's got something to prove. I used to live out here and this spot was mandatory. No trends, great service, classic american pizzeria ambiance,no gimmicks, just a regular slice that still hits like a heavyweight champ. Some things don't need upgrading--just another napkin. Queens classics only.

This is a classic example of a NYC slice of pizza. The right balance of flavor and grease. Service is always great! It's a small space but it's a staple.

Lucia's has been my go-to slice spot for as long as I can remember. I've literally grown up coming here, and while it's wild to see the price climb from $2 to $3.50 over the years, the quality has always stayed the same. The sauce, cheese, and crust come together just right -- simple, classic, and consistently good. No matter how many other pizza places I try, this one will always be my favorite slice in Flushing.

Great fast pizza spot. Nice cheesy and hot. Super quick service, and even a small bar top seating situation if you need to eat right then and there.

One of our friends claimed that Lucia was one of the best pizza joints around NYC so we made it as one of stops in our food tour. I had some doubts looking at the pictures but they do not do them justice. This place seems like a local favorite because while we were looking at the menu, there was a steady stream of customers who knew exactly what they wanted. Very small space with mostly standing room or a couple of counter stools. There's a little counter outside where you can stand and eat as well but there isn't any shade. I think most people just order the regular, which is a cheese pizza and if you want toppings, it's $0.75 each. Food comes out really fast since all they have to do is heat it up. A single slice is large enough for one person, maybe even two if you're not trying to eat that much. It's got a thin curst, crunchy bottom, and is very oily but in a good way. And there's parmesan, oregano, garlic powder and chili flakes on the countertops. Overall, very good value for a delicious slice of pizza!

Food: Stopped in to try this plain slice because this place was featured in a recent New York Eater article as one of the best slices in New York City. The pizza wasn't bad but it's nothing special. I'm not sure why it was featured in the article. The sauce and cheese were good, but the crust wasn't the best. I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to get pizza here. Service: Service wasn't the best. We were standing in line to order our slice while someone was finishing up placing their order. Meanwhile, someone else walked in ahead of us to order, and the person taking orders behind the counter took his order first even though we, along with another customer behind us, were waiting in line first. Ambiance: The place is small and has about five seats and a counter for eating, but the space is tight, and seating is not comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you're craving pizza and in the area, but it's nothing special that you need to try.

Stayed at the renaissance hotel nearby and walked to this place My boss had never been to New York and wanted some pizza Boy did Lucia's deliver!! Phenomenal. Nothing crazy, just consistent and delicious. Great service and good people.

Let me start by saying i am a huge Lucia fan. ive been going there since i was a kid. i tried to call the store to resolve this but this is a last resort. i ordered on uber eats to my store in a mall nearby. Lucia was using their own delivery people (i saved their numbers) and not ubers. The delivery guy called me after the order was already 20 mins late to meet him in front of the mall. i told him i couldn't leave the store and he had to come here. he told me he would leave it in the mall lobby and to come get it. and then hung up on me. then he left a pic (attached) of the food in the middle of mall lobby. i called to speak to a manager and they kept hanging up on me. this was by far the worst experience i have ever had with any delivery. im still shocked how rude the staff at lucia was. i have this all documented.

I had made a reservation specifically to celebrate my birthday, yet when we arrived, we were sent to the third floor because apparently even the reservation and seating arrangements could not be properly managed. When you make a reservation for a special occasion, you expect at least a basic level of organization and attention. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The staff also lacked professionalism and presentation. Some employees appeared extremely tired, disoriented, or as if they might have been dealing with a hangover. Communication was another major problem. The English proficiency of several staff members was very limited, which made it incredibly difficult to resolve even a simple issue with my order. What frustrated me the most was the management. I asked to speak with the manager because there had been a mistake with my order and I simply wanted to explain what happened and make a suggestion. The manager never came out to speak with me or address my concern. Instead, I was left trying to communicate with employees who either did not understand what I was saying or were unable to help. The owners of Park Side should pay much closer attention to the professionalism, training, communication skills, and especially the management of the staff representing their restaurant. Good food alone is not enough when the service makes the entire experience stressful and unpleasant. My advice: simply DO NOT GO ON A SUNDAY. It was chaotic, poorly managed, and honestly a disaster. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and what should have been an enjoyable experience ended up being unnecessarily frustrating. The food was good, but the service and overall experience were terrible.

Great pizza with affordable prices…read more Food: Vinny's pizza has been in the community for as long as I can remember. Their pizza is the best in Queens that I have had so far. The crust is thin, has a great smokey taste, and has the satisfying crunch. The crust is easily the best part of the pizza. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy either which is awesome. Staff and Service: the staff and service at Vinny's feels very homey and open. Very friendly and more than willing to answer your questions. Did take out, but there are some tables there that you can eat on. Unfortunately the cheese and some of the eggplant on the eggplant parm were burnt so most of the cheese and some of the eggplant couldn't be eaten. Particularly considering their cooking on a gozney oven stuffed into a food cart. It's actually a gas fired oven so it's more wood oven style. But that matters little for the taste. I went with a pepperoni and asked to add hongos to which the pizzaolo obliged my request. About 5 minutes later I was handed a piping hot pie and charged $14. But it was only after my first bite when I knew what a steal this is. The crust was nicely charred but also a delicate chew. The sauce is fresh, tangy with a great tomato flavor. The cheese must have had done parm sprinkled on because it was way for flavorful than mozz alone. And toppings tasted fresh and were plentiful. Impressive for sure. The block where the cart sits is super quiet with only a laundromat and another street vendor selling some leche de arroz. I'll have to wash my next pue down with sone of that next time. Nowhere to sit so it's more of a Togo or delivery setup. I'll def be ordering from here again in the future. I can't help think how much hype this cart would have in a more active and affluent area.
